I didn't realize that I was going to have to find an instructor and spend 8 hours with them to get my carry permit. I got 10 out of 10 questions right and got my certificate.

Over Concealed Coalition
Geschreven door het bedrijf
Concealed Coalition is a U.S.-based firearm training organization that provides state-compliant concealed carry education and safety instruction for eligible adults. The company connects individuals with certified instructors and structured training programs designed to meet state-specific permitting requirements.
The organization operates through a nationwide network of instructors and an online platform that allows individuals to register for courses, review state guidelines, and access educational materials. Concealed Coalition does not issue permits directly; concealed carry permits are issued solely by the appropriate state or local authority following successful completion of required steps.
The training process typically includes classroom or online education covering firearm safety fundamentals, applicable laws, and responsible ownership principles. In many states, instruction may also include a live-fire qualification component conducted by a certified instructor in accordance with state regulations.
Permit approval decisions are made exclusively by the relevant issuing authority and are subject to background checks and statutory eligibility criteria. Completion of a training course does not guarantee permit issuance.
Concealed Coalition provides educational resources to help individuals understand evolving state laws, reciprocity considerations, and responsible firearm storage practices. The company emphasizes legal compliance, safety awareness, and informed decision-making throughout the training process.
Operating nationwide, Concealed Coalition supports individuals seeking structured firearm education through a standardized, compliance-oriented framework designed to align with current state requirements.

I looked at multiple CCW instruction…
I looked at multiple CCW instruction courses and settled with these guys. Before I signed up I called and spoke with a representative to ensure live firing was part of the course and what the schedule for the class looked like. She informed me it started with class time at Scheels and around lunch time we would travel to the next city over to do the live fire portion at an indoor range.
I planned accordingly, found a babysitter, as my wife was going with me, allowed for enough time to make it back to the class, and had my firearms and ammo ready to go.
That morning I received an email that the class would start at 8 at the live fire range. With that change in schedule, we were going to be latem I called customer service and the lady who answered was not pleasant at all. I explained that I had called, prior to signing up, and confirmed the schedule. She didnt want to help, instead, she canceled my enrollment. I didnt find this out until she hung up, so I called back.
They instantly told me they would not refund the amount I paid and instead said they scheduled me for the next class a month out.
I called back, asked for a refund again and was told the request was made. That was 3 weeks ago, still no refund. I called and left a message, crickets so far, that was 3 days ago now...no money, no class rescheduled. I think I got robbed.
Doesnt seem like they are about customer service and delivering a good experience, but more about taking the money and getting to the next class.

Thank you for providing this feedback regarding your experience, Shaynen. We apologize if there was miscommunication regarding the course order of events. The particular class you registered for started at 8am and had live-fire scheduled first. We understand that you were not able to get to class on time and that the rescheduling solution offered did not meet your acceptance. We began the refund process, however, refunds can only be issued if a customer has not requested a chargeback through their financial institution. You would need to reach out them directly at this point. Again, we are certainly sorry to hear that you did not have an exceedingly positive experience with Concealed Coalition, and we hope that you are able to register for another course that better meets your needs.

I live in a state where a CCW permit is not required, so I decided to cancel my course appointment and get a refund. I was told they don't give refunds, so I see this as a scam. I can get it overturned at my bank, but it will cost me $15.00 but that's better than losing the $80 I paid for the course!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us this feedback, Jack! We are certainly sorry to hear that you did not have an exceedingly positive experience with Concealed Coalition. It is always our goal to provide top-notch, professional training courses, and our website is detailed regarding what we offer. Many residents who live in constitutional carry states choose to obtain their permit for reciprocity in additional states while traveling, the vital benefit of training, and other state-specific advantages!
It is generally an individual's responsibility to understand the full carry permit laws and application process in their state of residence, however, our team is available directly at 800-990-5594 during normal business hours for ANY questions or concerns prior to signing up, during the process, and after! We are always more than happy to assist and provide more information. Our policies are also outlined on the FAQ page of our website. 🙌
