Conveyancing Direct Property Lawyers Reviews

Unfortunately due to the inadequacy of Conveyancing direct I lost out on my dream flat after 10 months wasted time. Offer accepted December 2025 and 10 months later the seller has pulled out of the sale and it's fallen through. I can't entirely blame conveyancing direct but the impression I have is not a good one. I can't recommend this company to anyone as a first time buyer myself, avoid, unless additional stress on what is likely your biggest expenditure is something you want to have to deal with.

Dominique was brilliant from the minute I spoke to her. there was a couple of bumps on the way when I phoned or emailed to ask what was needed Dominique was always pleasant and nothing was to much trouble

I've just completed the sale of my house in Cheshire and Conveyancing Direct were easy and brilliant every step of the way. A big thankyou to Tom Mclaren-Roberts for all of his great work. Tom was great with communication, updating me on things every few days, he made the whole process stress free and smooth

Excellent service from this company
I would like to extend my thanks to Kyle Parsons who went above and beyond dealing with a very complex situation professionally.

Emily Briers has been absolutely superb throughout the full process. 5 star!

Thank you Emily.

I honestly couldn’t recommend this company enough. From start to finish, the service I received was excellent, and everyone was extremely helpful and professional. A special mention has to go to Tom McLaren, who was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process. Tom was always there to help with emails and phone calls, answer any questions I had, and made sure I understood everything along the way. He was also a massive help with getting all the necessary documents sorted and making sure everything was completed correctly. Tom was friendly, approachable and quick to respond, which made the whole process so much easier and less stressful. It was clear that he genuinely cared about helping and making sure everything went smoothly. I’m really grateful for all the help and support I received and would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional, helpful and reliable service. A big thank you to Tom and the whole team!

Everybody i dealt with was very helpful. Big thankyou to Connie Goody Williams who helped a lot by making it all clear and simple when i felt so daunted by it all. Very happy with the whole experience.

We exchanged today! In just a couple of months and this is down to Claire Glavin and her expertise! She put to bed all horror storys you get about solicitors because she was great! Her work ethic, Communication is something the company can be really proud of! We cannot thank her enough! She handled both our sale/purchase, the portal is also a great tool! Meaning all the documents are in one place amd you can keep track of the progress your case is making! 1000% recommend this company amd we will also use these again should we ever need to! Thank you again Claire!

A very positive experience. We received a professional and efficient service with our remortgage. Thank you for such a smooth transaction.

As a first-time buyer, I was so nervous about the whole process, but Jess was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She was so warm, friendly and incredibly helpful, always taking the time to explain everything clearly and put my mind at ease.
Jess was quick to get things done, always responsive, super easy to get in contact with and never made me feel silly for asking questions (even the ones I thought were probably stupid!). She was so patient and made sure I understood everything throughout the entire process.
Buying my first home felt so much less stressful knowing I had Jess supporting me. I honestly can't thank her enough for all her hard work, kindness and reassurance. She went above and beyond, and I couldn't recommend her highly enough!
Thank you so much for everything, Jess! ❤️

I will definitely be using Conveyancing Direct again for my next house sale or purchase. Highly recommended! 👏🏠

Christian Petersen has been brilliant with keeping us up to date with our house move. At an already stressful time, he answers promptly and has kept up updated every step of the way.

The portal is really easy to use and access too, which has helped the process be smooth.

Amazing work and smooth transition, i would highly recommend them as I am very happy with my experience 😊

Jess Day was fantastic, I couldn’t recommend her more! She has been super helpful throughout and always replied to my emails and calls.
We had a couple of hiccups which were explained and sorted very quickly.

Shaheen and team made everything go smoothly and very quickly. Kept us up to date with the progress of our sale. Would recommend and use again if ever needed.

Terrible. Do not use. It's been 6 months and still not got my flat. I keep finding mistakes in my solicitors emails like he's not even paying attention. I had to explain to him that lease holders don't need building insurance. Based on my experience I can only assume they are a bunch of amateurs. Avoid at all cost!

I honestly couldn't recommend Emily Briers at CDPL highly enough. From start to finish, she was absolutely outstanding throughout the entire conveyancing process. Emily was incredibly efficient, proactive, and always one step ahead, ensuring everything progressed as smoothly and quickly as possible.

What really stood out was her communication. She kept me informed every step of the way, explained everything clearly, and was always on hand to answer any questions I had. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and thorough approach gave me complete confidence throughout what can often be a very stressful process.

Nothing ever seemed too much trouble for Emily. She went above and beyond to keep things moving and made the whole experience far easier than I ever expected. If you're looking for a conveyancer who is knowledgeable, reliable, approachable, and genuinely exceptional at what she does, then Emily is the person you want handling your transaction.

Thank you, Emily, for all of your hard work and dedication. You truly made a huge difference, and I couldn't have asked for a better conveyancer!

I would like to say thank you to Christian Petersen who was very professional ,polite and very patient. He helped getting the house sold in a professional manner and kept us up to date every step of the way.
