Coral Windows - A mixed review.
Positive
The product itself matches the online reviews of it being robust with good sound proofing.
The father and son team who fitted the windows were professional, demonstrating attention to detail and a friendly attitude.
Schedules were met with prompt rectifying of mistakes.
Negative
The most negative was the prolix Falstaffian representative who spent two hours talking about himself and his personal concerns rather than demonstrating the product.
When the scaffolding was dismantled there were a number of cracks in the slates requiring a return visit to replace them.

Quoted 2.5 days for fitting,took them 3 full days with still work left to do,a different team came on the 4th day an we were told they didnt have enough time to do the work,they were booked back in for a later date,an they cancelled with 2 days prior notice,we had already booked the time off work,the fitters finally came to do the last window an they still couldnt get that right another team had to come out an seal the window,the fitters walked all over our new carpets with no protection,we were told they will be sent with carpet cleaner,the mastic seals were shocking(pics to follow),windows that were sticking from day 1,i posted pictures of the sealant on corals facebook page,i have since been blocked,i had to get my own pointer back out to point up my brick work from corals doing at my expense,dont try an contact me again unless its through a solicitor
Cowboy firm,an refuses to give you a breakdown of costs even though it doesnt state that in the contract.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. While we understand your frustration regarding the delays, we would like to clarify a few important points regarding this project:
Schedules & Delays: In domestic construction work, estimated timescales are guidelines, as unforeseen challenges can arise once fitting begins. Unfortunately, part of this delay was due to an unavoidable medical issue for one of our installers, which was communicated at the time. We were also under the impression that work was arranged around your family's work-from-home schedule.
Completion & Snagging: It is standard industry practice for minor snags or adjustments to be completed following an installation. Unlike many companies, we do not request any payment until all snagging items are fully addressed and completed to the customer's satisfaction.
Carpet & Goodwill: We apologised for the carpet situation and do expect all installers to use suitable coverings. The stains were successfully cleaned, and as a gesture of goodwill, we offered £250 off your total bill to make amends.
Current Project Status: All installation and snagging work was completed over a week ago, and it was agreed that the job was finished. However, despite everything being completed to your satisfaction and the goodwill allowance applied and you agreeing to make payment, this still remains outstanding.
While we completely respect your wish to keep further communication through formal channels, we cannot accept this until payment is made as the job is completed and to expect that is unreasonable

1930s style door looks great
We had a new front door and another window fitted last week. We've had Coral windows before so we expected the service and installation to be good and were not disappointed. I was particularly pleased with the custom glass in the front door and sidelights which had been made to replicate our original 1930s design. The surveyor took a lot of trouble to record the original pattern and the replica looks great.

Excellent French doors
Excellent French doors, fitted well and very considerate workmen.
Despite changing the time of installation (am to pm) due the glass having to collected from manufacturers.
Improvement-A written receipt and FENSA certificate would be useful. Along with details on how to contact for post-installation adjustments.

Regarding your FENSA certificate, these are issued and sent directly by FENSA. Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for your certificate to arrive by post.
With regard to any post-installation adjustments, your Installation Manager will be in touch with you to ensure everything is as it should be and to assist with any adjustments that may be required.

More care
The two fitters worked hard and managed to do their part of the installation in one day. the only complaint was their inability to clean up for themselves. Leaving plastic waste and numerous used and unused screws around the conservatory.
The administration part of the company failed to arrange for the electrician to complete the installation but were very quick to request payment. After the payment was sent they did not supply a receipt until I requested one. I do not think that the points I have raised are a reason not to use the company but perhaps a little more care would give an extra star .

We had windows & doors and soffits and facias replaced and whilst there was a cross over of the work it wasn’t an issue. All the guys were lovely, polite and got on with the job efficiently. Andy & Tyler made a good (entertaining) team and even made time to entertain a curious 8 year old. Really pleased we chose Coral and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.

First Class Customer Service
We got new windows and doors around six years ago and was really impressed with how efficient Coral windows were. But their aftercare is superb, we had problems with the front door being sun damaged. It was sorted out really quickly with no problems. Then unfortunately we had the same problem again and Coral sorted it out again without hesitation. Coral has excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend.

We would like to clarify the circumstances surrounding this situation.
We originally quoted for your work several months ago, at which point your initial finance application was submitted directly to the lender. When you recently requested that we visit again to re-apply, our team gently advised that the outcome was unlikely to change within that timeframe. However, per your explicit request to try again, we sent a representative out to assist you.
While we offer competitive finance options, all final lending decisions are made independently by our finance partners, who strictly adhere to responsible lending guidelines.
We regret that the lender was unable to approve the application on this occasion, but we always aim to accommodate customer requests as transparently as possible.
Take your money elsewhere
I chose Coral Windows expecting a professional, well‑organised service. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience. After an installation in February, I was still dealing with unresolved issues in September. Even during a Stage 3 complaint visit, Coral arrived without the materials needed to complete the job. I agreed to finish part of the work myself simply to avoid yet another delay.
Catherine and Richard were excellent, but the wider management team needs serious improvement. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend Coral Windows.

Regarding the remaining task—a small area of wood filling outside our standard scope—our engineer unfortunately couldn't source the exact matching material on the day. We apologised and offered to source the correct match and return, but we completely respect your decision to finalise it yourself.
