I was told a window would open a particular way. The salesman denies having any recollection of the conversation that we had where I extensively outlined my needs, and seems sadly a bit confused as to what the reason for his initial visit to my house was for.

Despite raising the issue with every member of the team with whom I spoke during the arrangements to fix not one, but both windows that were installed faulty and being told repeatedly that the opening capability could and would be fixed, I am now told that the window will not open the way I was originally lead to believe.

I had to chase up to have an appointment with the surveyor after having been told by him that he would ‘put a rush’ on the order, and the 7-10 day wait was more like 2-3 weeks. There was little to no communication from the company unless I phoned up first to find out what was happening.

The response I had from the salesman insulted my intelligence and my integrity in an almost farcical manner, and I paid the last 10% of the cost despite still having one faulty window, just so I didn’t have to speak with them again. I will need to contact another company to come and replace the hinges on the remaining faulty window.

The extra star to 2 instead of 1 stars is solely because the fitters were genuinely lovely, as was the man who came the first time to fix one of the two broken windows, and the window does keep the rain out so that’s technically an improvement to the old one, even if this new one will need to be replaced again almost immediately.

Now having to wait over 2 months for replacement roof panels and now they decide they need to come and look at them. dreadful after sales service and not what this company once did. The whole conservatory had to be replaced only 2 years ago because of defects. Really poor after sales service.

I was initially going to go with a National company and the sales person for County Windows they matched them on price.
The customer experience from start to finish has been exceptional. The 2 fitters that came were absolute stars and did a thorough job.
I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them- I loved the no pressure, no hard sell friendly can do attitude of this company!

So happy we made the choice of County Windows, so positively different from our previous experience with another local company. I know this review is somewhat late, but after installation in August everything is still just perfect. From start to finish they have looked after our project,would highly recommend.
