Fab furniture, poor experience with the Customer Service team

I must start by saying I am absolutely delighted with the furniture I have purchased - it is extremely good quality, easy to assemble, and looks fab in the spaces in my house. The sales process was simple - an initial online enquiry, responded to in a timely manner with more info, and an order placed which only had a 2-4 week lead time.

However, my experience with Danetti’s Customer Service department has been poor. Having received notification of the 2-hour window the previous night, the delivery did not arrive. Eventually, for an unknown reason, 2 of 7 boxes did arrive. The delivery company could offer no explanation, nor could Danetti’s Customer Service team, who agreed that this wasn’t acceptable, they’d look into it, and would be in touch with updates and details of a gesture of goodwill, as this is not the service they pride themselves on. Sadly there was no further communication from Danetti, and I had to chase multiple times, once being diverted through to their Sales team, who promised they would ensure my call was returned.

Fortunately, the ‘missing’ furniture has been delivered.

I appreciate that sometimes things can go wrong, and in this case it is unlikely it was within Danetti’s control. But again there has been no communication, explanation or apology from Danetti. I called again following receipt of the email asking me to offer a review of my experience, and again was promised my call would be returned. I’m still waiting.

I really would love to be able to give this a 5* review, and if it was just in relation to the furniture purchased I would. However, on this occasion, my experience has not been as I would have hoped.

Wrong sofa sent

Ordered the left side chaise sofa and received the right side. Took me a week of chasing for someone to get back to me. Now the sofa is out of stock and will take 18-21 weeks to get the right part. I’m stuck with a chaise that doesn’t fit on my sofa and £3000 down. Still no solution other than to send it all back and start again or wait it out. Customer service is not good at all, very slow unless you chase consistently. They are obviously struggling.

An exchange to a new items that would work in your home along with us looking at matching the price difference for you.

A full collection and refund on the order.

An option to keep the current items and wait for the correct part to be delivered

As a small business we understand the importance of getting things right when they go wrong, and want to assure you we want to work with you to ensure a happy outcome. Our team care and our working extremely hard to get the issue resolved.

The order was a week late

The order was a week late, as they failed to deliver it to the courier on time. The furniture arrived damaged, which I communicated to Danetti straight away. And I am still waiting for a reply to my request to have the damaged furniture replaced

Horrendous delivery - huge disappointment

Ordered three times from this company. 1st delivery no problem. 2nd delivery got email late afternoon for next day confirming delivery so took annual leave then 08.00am on morning of delivery got email saying danetti hadn't sent delivery company the item. Rang Danetti and rearranged for Saturday and they admitted their fault - no refund on delivery charge. Ordered another item and exactly same happened, email in evening confirming delivery, took day off to get email in morning saying cancelled again. Customer Service said we will escalate as item lost again but will take 48hrs. Overall Danetti overpromise and under deliver. I can understand this happening once but twice is ridiculous. Paid huge delivery charges for fairly expensive furniture and took 2 days off, loads of phone calls and huge stress so wouldn't recommend this Company. Their furniture is lovely which is a shame but just not worth the disappointment stress and time.

Issue with a Morgan dining table and…

Issue with a Morgan dining table and awaiting a so called engineer call. No response from two emails and no call back following a telephone call. Really poor service.

Excellent Chairs, Delivery and Service Need Improvement

The kitchen stools themselves are excellent and fit perfectly into my kitchen. Unfortunately, the delivery process was less than ideal. The scheduled delivery was cancelled on short notice on the morning it was due, after I had already taken time off work. After that, the delivery was rescheduled without any prior communication, requiring additional adjustments to my schedule. It has now been a week since I reached out to customer service for a response and I am still waiting. While the product is perfect, the delivery and service aspects certainly need improvement.

Completely missed delivery date without prior notice. Delivery rearranged, item damaged, customer service don't return calls. Photos sent no response or clear action to resolve issues, going around in circles with customer Service. Avoid

Took 3 attempts to deliver before I got it on the 4th delivery. Confirmation of cancellation/delivery very last minute. Took the shine off the ‘premium’ experience.

I’m pretty sure the items are not in stock and only ordered when a sale is made. Otherwise why would it take 3 weeks to delivery something from Berkshire to Greater Manchester?

Thankfully the dining table is good quality and well built but extremely heavy (140kg)

No Delivery, No Communication, No Help.

Like many recent reviewers, I’ve had a nightmare experience. After taking a day off work for my delivery slot, I received a last-minute cancellation email. Since then, I’ve been met with total radio silence. It’s been over a week with no response to emails, WhatsApps, or web forms. When I call, I’m given excuses—first that the courier lost my items, then that they’re actually out of stock. Appalling communication and zero follow-through

Dreadful customer service

Dreadful customer service.

I ordered a bed back in December. The delivery time was pushed several times. Finally the bed was due to be delivered last Wednesday however the courier AIT never received the bed. No-one told me this until I chased for delivery time slot on Wednesday morning. Danetti rearranged for my bed to be delivered on Friday. The bed arrived and when it came to be assembled they’d send a king-sized headboard and the rest was for a double bed. I phoned Danetti 3 times on Friday and was told Olivia or Helen would call me and no-one did. I also emailed twice, no reply and completed a case study form. To date, now Tuesday no-one has contacted me to replace or return the bed.

Very disappointing, I like Danetti furniture but this experience has put me off purchasing from them again.

Ignore you when things go wrong...

This has been an extremely poor experience from start to finish and falls well below an acceptable standard of service.
My bed delivery has failed on two separate occasions. The first failure occurred when Danetti moved the delivery date at short notice, despite me having already arranged time off work to be available. I was then assured the rearranged delivery would proceed as planned.
When the rescheduled delivery finally took place, the bed arrived damaged and completely unusable. As a result, I am still without a bed, which is wholly unacceptable for such a significant purchase and has left me facing a prolonged period without an essential item.
To make matters worse, I have repeatedly been advised that someone will call or email me back, yet these promises are ignored, with no follow‑up contact made. This lack of communication has only added to the frustration and gives the impression that once payment is taken, resolving issues becomes a low priority.
I will now have to take further annual leave to arrange delivery of a replacement bed and the collection of the damaged one, in addition to the leave already wasted due to the initial failed delivery. The inconvenience, disruption, and time lost have been considerable.
A missed delivery followed by damaged goods is bad enough, but being left without a bed and repeatedly ignored afterwards is unacceptable. Based on my experience so far, I would strongly caution others before ordering, particularly if they cannot afford delays, repeated failures, or poor communication when things go wrong.

missing items and useless customer service

Was sent out two headboards instead of the correct pieces for my bed. I Have an open case but haven't heard anything since a week ago. Called customer service 3 times and been told each time they will get back in contact with me. Why can’t they just send out the missing piece. Paid £600 for a bed to be messed about.
