I would like to say how great the customer service was from a guy by the name of Kerry. He works at the Oxley Dan Murphy’s.
He was very knowledgeable in what I asked him and assisted me the whole time I was there as I was not familiar with the place and some alcohol.
I would like to make a mention that he was great.
Tell him he’s through..,
I don’t understand why they don’t send that work experience guy back to school and spend the money on getting a qualified web page designer. Trying to navigate their site to place an order is a nightmare!

Don't buy any alcohol from this scumbag company. Dan Murphys refuse to accept orders from and deliver to the Northern Territory. This has been a decision made in the name of political correctness only. If you purchase from this company you contribute to the discriminatory policies that they place upon law abiding citizens who should have the same rights as every other citizen in Australia

Online purcase experience
I purachased from their website a case of 12 wines. Only 6 were delivered (I actually had to collect as Aus Post said they could not find my address to which I have been living for the last 38 years and always get my mail). I tried the online chat and that was useleas they did not understand, they could see I purchased during a pomotion and then just ended the chat as they probably realised they were wrong. Do not trust the online purchase system.

I've been charged for products that weren't delivered, which I believe is illegal, if I could rate at zero stars, I would!

Your Dan Murphy APP is painful. Password reset doesn’t work, multiple other issues over the last 6-months. I like your shops but won’t be returning, so frustrating. Everything is geared to members prices and your members APP should be 100%. Sorry, very poor in my experience.
Sparkling Shiraz bottle explodes luckily no one was injured…!!!
My Dad purchased 6 Bottles of Sparkling Shiraz - Seaview, from the Bay Rd Store,
They were stored in Terracotta Pipes as is the majority of his Wine Collection.
One of the bottles exploded, red wine & glass everywhere, the base of the bottle & the neck all still in place, damage was the middle of the bottle.
There was nothing that had happened for this to take place…
The bottle was taken back to the store of purchase, the Staff Member was not interested in returning the bottle to Seaview, he shut down the conversation.
Did not want to discuss it, he was actually offhand & rude… A 25ish year old bloke from Bay Rd Cheltenham Store - learn some empathy when dealing with an 80 year old man with a brain injury…

Dan Murphy's breaks marketing promise twice in 2 weeks
Emily at the Greenhills store told me 2 weeks ago when I had a significant purchase for Christmas gifts that "We don't match First Choice prices so I can't do that!"
Like hello first choice is Dans main competitor? So I went in today to buy some more brandy to stock up at home for our next lot of visitors and showed her Liquorland nearby had the same product cheaper. She gave me a filthy look and tapped on her computer for a while and turned around and smiled and said nup can't do that Liquorland don't have stock. (Least that made her smile) so I left the store much to a very shocked looking Emily and went to Liquorland where there was plenty of stock and saved myself $30.

Worst experience on delivery ever!! Ordered 2 Christmas gift boxes last Dec 16 as a gift for a friend and it was mentioned that the delivery date will be on or before Dec.23,2023. But guessed what, 1 box was delivered only last Jan 3,2024 and the other 1 box last Jan 4,2024!.
What a joke it was! It's supposed to be a Christmas and New year present but only got delivered after.
I'd like to think that this company is a scam. I called their no.but will only ask to leave a message, sent email several times and they barely reply. I was chasing them about my delivery,only after i asked for cancellation amd refund then they get to proceed with the delivery. Customer nservice is so poor, they did not even apologise for the late delivery and all. I even asked for a discount for the trouble they cause but nothing. No apologise, No compensation, nothing!
They only stress you out with your deliveries. Very poor customer service. Dont waste your time ordering from here.

The list for delivery of hampers was shared in the month of Nov 2023 and the gifts were not delivered until Jan 2024. Worst customer service ever! Even after giving business of nearly $10,000 there is no response from the team.
Online order - 2hr delivery or 2-4 day delivery
Absolutely appalled by current experience and totally lost me and my family as customers. Have used previously and found service and products of good standard. My experience - yesterday I ordered on line a selection of drinks that I wanted delivered in 2 hours from my local store. I selected the 2 hour delivery at $15.00. I made payment it went through and I saw that the price had reduced, I just assumed it was the member deal. Anyway checked the order this morning and it was 2-4 day delivery. Well, that's okay I thought, I'll just duck down to the local and pick it up. Only to be told it was coming from Burleigh Heads (I live in the Redlands area). I couldn't believe it - how eco unfriendly is that when products had previously been available in that store. Worst was the unrelenting Customer Service Manager who had obviously had similar experiences because she gave me all the options - that wouldn't work. Wow, thanks. Not very customer friendly.

Broken and useless online delivery
Every single damn time I try to order "Delivery Now" via their online site it changes to Standard Delivery EVERY SINGLE STEP of the process.
This is the 5th time in the last few months.
You set delivery now....
You pick a payment type - it goes back to standard.
You reset it to delivery now - but when you put in special instructions - it goes back to standard.
You change it back, and as you go to the next step - it gors back to standard.
I literally triple check before I hit the order button that it's properly set to Delivery Now - and it changes to standard after I hit the button.
The developers who designed this website are fools.
I am no longer ordering online from them.

Dan Murphy's - Care Factor Zero
Dan Murphy's website advertises their 30 minute order pick up, so yesterday I ordered a Christmas gift online and received an immediate confirmation email with an order number. Then: crickets. No text or email to collect the order. I clicked the tracking link in the email today and found the order; CANCELLED. No notification, no explanation, no alternative, just cancelled.
I contacted their online chat which just went around in circles, with their representative obviously cutting and pasting all their bullsh*t excuses from a script but offering no resolution. All the while he was trying to assure me that this was not the experience they typically deliver to their customers. Um, you might want to read the other reviews on here, Jordan.
I also checked my account. No refund. It seems they don't instigate the refund process until you ask and then, apparently, it takes five days. Take my money in five seconds, but five days to refund. Right. I asked their rep to cancel my membership. I note they were able to do that immediately. If I could give zero stars on this review, I would have.
I paid via PayPal and noticed the payment was set to 'automatic'. When I contacted PayPal to clarify, they confirmed there were TWO inexplicable recurring payments set up for Dan Murphy's. This was only the second time I had purchased online with Dan Murphy’s and the first time using my PayPal account, so beware! You won't be getting any more of my money, Dan Murphy's. Recurring payments cancelled.
I’m off to Liquorland to buy a replacement gift for the one I paid Dan Murphy’s for. The one they still have my money for. The one I intend to gift tomorrow. I don't care how much more it costs.
