Absolutely disgusting…order sitting at depot for 2 weeks…still waiting
Absolutely disgusting…order has been sitting at depot for 2 weeks. Contacted DM you talk to a ‘bot’ then if you persevere you’ll get to talk to a human (supposedly, but it is via chat). I ordered over $250 worth on the 7/12 and received ab email from DM to say it was ‘on its way’. Yeah right, it’s been sitting at depot for nearly 2 weeks. I have a tracking number that doesn’t tell me the courier (so I can’t contact them). Meanwhile my order is just sitting there…the human assistant from DM raised a ‘ticket’. Nothing has happened so I might as well have ordered thru liquorland as order I placed with them arrived and is being consumed. DM get your online service sorted.

Do not waste your time on this poor excuse for a Dan Murphy 'delivery service' that fails with the most basic of tasks. When the delivery fails you have NO option other than to communicate with a bot! Still waiting after a week for a delivery that is still 'pending!'

Tried to call my local store to check on stock, not allowed, redirected to a chatbot then to an agent who ‘raised a ticket’, heard nothing back -all way too hard. Big fail!!
Worst delivery service and no one cares
Dan Murphy, step up your delivery game, seriously. Aside from the fact that my very first delivery purchased got returned to the store 3 times (you have one job!), don’t bother choosing the 2-4 business day delivery. I normally choose the 2-hour window for an extra $5 and it is worth it, trust me.
I have waited at home all day, putting off other tasks, and I still don’t have my delivery, and it is well past the 6-hour window allowed for. The online chat couldn’t give me any more info as to when the driver will arrive. Woeful!!
We’re your customers DMs!! Take heed of this feedback and step up your game. We can easily go to BWS who deliver within an hour!!

Delivery experience the worst !!
After paying for 3 cartons of beer, I asked to receive a phone call 30 mins prior to delivery ..... no reply ! Then a message from delivery Agent says 2-4 business days , no notice of day or the time.
They went to deliver and took it back all the way to Welshpool . ( as I wasn't there to receive !) Yes only 1 depot to collect.
Helloooooooo , most people are not friggin home, Monday to Friday !
I paid for delivery, however I had to travel all the way to Welshpool, to pick up !

Ordered through online during Black Friday, and turns out it is biggest mistake that I ever made on any online purchases.
Customer service is just non-existence as only method that you can contact is "Live Chat", sometimes you have a 80+queues to be lucky ones to chat with someone but make sure that you are not "disconnected" while waiting for 80 people.
The delivery driver just DOES NOT CARE to fulfil the delivery as I was available at home twice and delivery was unsuccessful without any attempt to contact me or ring the doorbell.
Only option you get after fail to deliver is to "Reschedule" and you can only reschedule a day after; and it has been the worst nightmare that I had to deal with. With such a large size of business, lack of customer support. I highly recommend to stay away from delivery if you are considering between pick up and delivery.

Gift ordered online
Gift ordered online, confirmed and delivery chosen and paid for. Wrong item delivered. Contacted them online and had excessive wait (34th in line), but eventually told they will exchange and deliver within an hour. They didn’t and three days later they haven’t. Obviously they have no intention to. They must be making so much money they don’t care about customer service or losing customers.

Bad experience, will never come back!
I went to a Dan Murphy’s physical store for the first time and was shocked by the arrogancy and cold service of the lady on the register. I wish I knew her name so I can mention it here! She did not even look at me, but rather talked and gossiping with her fellow workmate while serving me! Actually she was badmouthing nearly every single customer who passed by her in the store.
When I asked her about something that I bought, she was so rude and told me I should know better about it before I decided to buy it. So I can’t ask her any question either?
She definitely badmouthed me after I left the store, just like what she did to every other customer who visited that shop during her shift.
She is a black haired lady, hair tied up, with green uniform; the shop is located in Upper Coomera.
Why do you employ someone like that @ Dan Murphy’s?
It was my first visit, and will never come back there ever! I’d rather go to smaller shops who are friendlier!

On online order didn't work,obnoxious staff
On online order didn't work. Could not contact by phone store to discuss. Went to the store. staff wouldn't help. Manager was obnoxious and dismissive. Will never buy from them again. First choice liquor will be my first choice from now on

The store assistant in Dan Murphy’s Upper Coomera (QLD) store is VERY rude and racist!
They punish people who told the truth about the age on the driving licence!
I was treated like a criminal over there, simply by being honest and tell them the truth!
Funny that they will sell alcohols to liars!
But refuse to sell alcohol to the people who told the truth and labelled people like us as criminals because we told them the truth!
Second time at having a home delivery
Second time at having a home delivery, What a debacle! They would have to be the most inefficient delivery service in Australia! I had to go on the online chat and be 37th in line. In the end I asked for a refund. Don't ever go there! They are rubbish!

Online shop is a Joke
The in store experience is very good.
But once you get to use their online shop, the nightmare begins...
Took me a couple hours to get to talk to a bot, yes, you need to queue up to talk to a bot... The bot says he's busy so what can I do...
Had to rearrange the delivery because "they thought your address is a business address" which took me 3 extra days to receive the wine...
Then I took the wine and get to the airport and got refused tax return because they didn't provide an ABN in their tax invoice... The bot finally replied to me with another tax invoice however it was all too late...
$80 tax return was gone with the wind...

What a terrible website
What a terrible website. Wanted to buy the tequila bundle on special for $55.00. Got to the checkout and the price was $74.00, what is going on. Tried to contact someone but couldn't connect with anyone. Talk about false advertising. Need to fix your website and customer service. Went somewhere else on principle.
The most useless website ever…
The most useless website I have ever encounter. Trying to order a few wines for some friends, either the website keep crashing and not responding, or when finally managed to get to the checkout billing address outside Australia is not recognized even if they say you can buy from all over the world as long as delivered is in Australia. Totally crap. It has now been 3 days and still impossible to place an online order. They auto chat is not working either. I have never experience such a poor and rubbish payment experience. Dan Murphy's team you have to get rid of your provider with a massive priority.
