Our masks are very stylish
Our masks are very stylish! I'm actually quite chlaustrophobic so don't really like wearing one at all, but mine is certainly much softer and less stifling than the throwaway ones I had been using.

Cotton flower mask
This is the most comfortable mask that I have purchased as it does not irritate my skin. It is not a Covid safe mask but for going out and about it does the job. I may buy another one !!

Deeply disappointed with this mask
Deeply disappointed with this mask. I ordered it because of the William Morris pattern - but the quality is rotten. Single layer of fabric and really not worth the £20 paid. I have better, safer masks at half the price. It also took longer to arrive than expected.

We are constantly improving our products so your feedback is much appreciated.
We work with some of the best printers in the UK and our masks are handmade in London so I am surprised and disappointed by your comments on quality! We use a lot of different fabrics across our range and felt that this 3-ply fabric is best for this use as it is flexible and breathable, however ofcourse they are not medical grade masks.
In regards to the delivery we use 1st class signed for service and I am sorry if there was a delay here.

I was unsure about the speed of the delivery time so I emailed the company. I soon received a very comprehensive and professional reply, which was also very friendly. I was very impressed with the communication, including being sent update emails on the progress of my order.
The mask I ordered was superbly made and a high quality garment. I am very happy with this company and would use them again.

I have now acquired several other types of face masks but David Watson masks are, for me at least, the best because they are… beautiful works of art/craft in themselves; I breathe easily when wearing my Spotty and William Morris masks, and my specs don’t mist up; and the thoughtful care and attention given to customers is outstanding. That a donation of art supplies to those in need will be made every time a purchase is made, added even more value to my shopping experience. I will be buying more from David Watson, that’s for sure. Scratchy baggy polyester masks nothing like the photos
The photos online do not show them as quilted polyester which is gathered round the edges. I thought they were smoother and cotton. When I put them on the elastic pinches my face and the fabric bags out.
I would not have bought them if they had been clearly represented on the web page. I fed back to the company who replied with a suggestion that I buy one of their silk ones next week! Very poor customer service. And massively overpriced for cheap scratchy polyester!

We try hard to represent our masks as they are on the website and I am afraid this is why we are unable to offer refunds. The masks are laid out flat to photograph on our website to help show our designs however are of course are flexible to your face when worn.
To try and explain our prices, All our products are made in the UK and the masks are handmade in London, we use the best printers in the country!
We work with a lot of fabrics across our range of scarves, ties and cushions and we have found this fabric works well as it is flexible, breathable and soft. As you mention we are launching a silk range next week but I am afraid these are more expensive.
