Always sucks. Always pay extra, and always takes a ridiculous amount of time. Costs more than the products itself and then they demand duties, and sometimes they don’t even contact you so you have to claim fraud on your credit card!

I would like to commend your employee Mr. Zahangir in your DHL Office in Lachine. He assisted us all the way. As we were having difficulty inputting data, he took time to do it for us. He was very polite and friendly. Thanks so much for your time and effort Mr. Zahangir!!

You do not deserve even one star. Please learn how to deliver parcels properly without supervision. Your excuses for failed deliveries are unacceptable. This is a completely non–client-oriented and outdated service.

Any info put in their website is ignored. Use Fedex instead. Useless company

This is the WORST company I have ever shipped with. Communication was next to non, have been still holding my packages for three week, the best part? I guess I was suppose to assume I needed documents, since nobody felt the need to tell me. The only contact? Is if I called them, absolutely appalled how this company is still in business.
In the time I have been waiting to this package, UPS has shipped me two packages form the same location. Unbelievable. If you are looking to ship internationally, DO NOT USE DHL.

I have never had a problem with DHL. Their service has always been top notch for me. I order from Portugal on a regular basis and always receive my package within three to four days. I wait longer for local deliveries than I do with DHL.

This organization is impenatrable. They have a notification on the Canadaian site to contact them via Whats app. It is broken.I phone a number provided by a chat (they dont publish a working number) they hung up after some minutes on hold. I followed thelinks on there sit eot correct the shdipping address. sent in a loop to nowhere. How ar they even in business?

Every other shipper in Canada lets you know when you have fees owing. Not DHL, they just put your package on hold indefinitely without contacting you. Awful service.

DHL is the worst company ever! I don't need to write details as other have already done so, but, listen to us: do NOT use DHL. Either they will rip you off and never ship the parcel AND never admit it nor refund you, or it will take forever to reach the destination, and your package -- if it ever arrives at the destination -- will have all contents opened, including personal messages that you write to the receiver. Listen to us! I wish I would have read the awful reviews about them before ever dealing with them. Never again! They are cr*p!

The initial progress of my order was infuriating to check up on. I placed my order on the 2nd... on the 3rd I had the tracking number and since than...nothing. It then changed my delivery date to the 15th

I left a review and then later on the same day it updated to "scanned into container" ...by the 7th/8th and STILL having NO other update ... it comes off as if the item is still in the warehouse /a different country. Like I isn't moving at all

I left my second review around yesterday (April 9th) but I got my order today (April 10th).... so I'm so confused.

It FELT like a bad experience but overall.... I got my order and without any problems (showed up, etc) and it came early in the morning so basically first thing in the morning... and instead of the 15th, it got here on the 10th (which was when it was SUPPOSED to arrive anyways) so idk....

It felt bad but because I got my order without issue , I feel that it would be wrong to complain. I'm just happy that the order arrived AND without issue !

DHL sucks. I’m not doing any business with any company that uses DHL anymore. Don’t use DHL. It’s a waste of money. The estimated delivery time is a lie. Your package will arrive days if not weeks later, if at all.

My experience with DHL was extremely frustrating from start to finish.
I paid $40 shipping to dhl for a $40 time-sensitive item, only to be hit later with an additional $21 customs fee that was not disclosed upfront. By then, my package was already being held at customs, leaving me no choice but to have to pay. Very misleading as I would never have chosen to pay a $60 delivery fee.
The delivery itself was just as bad. I was promised Thursday delivery—it didn’t happen. When they finally attempted delivery Friday, I was told they came and went because a signature was required. This was never communicated in advance, and I would have waived it if given the option.
Since then, I’ve received multiple “it’s coming tomorrow” updates that never materialize. As of now, the package is over 5 days late—despite paying for expedited shipping for arrival last week.
Customer service is useless. It took nearly an hour to reach a human, and when I did, they were unhelpful and offered no solutions. I have now called multiple times as each day passes without delivery and nothing happens. I asked for at least a refund as it has been 10 days since I placed the order for this rush delivery and was told refunds must be handled through the sender, which is just passing the buck as the money was paid to dhl.
Between hidden costs, missed delivery, repeated delays, and terrible communication, this has been a complete waste of time and money. I would strongly avoid DHL. The regular post office would have been faster and cheaper in my case.

I put in a request for my parcel to be delivered without signature, with the box to be placed by my front door, as I have mobility issues and cannot get it up the 4 steps on my property, by myself.

When the driver arrived, he phoned me twice (interrupting a meeting I was in) and was annoyed that I wasn't coming to the door to sign for my delivery. I informed him that I had arranged for the package to be delivered without a signature, and asked again, to make sure that the parcel was placed by my front door.

They left it in the middle of my driveway.

Well.. I found these guys to be good and professional- my only gripe being their phone network# is semi-unprofessional(but their website is good)and they were a bit off on th delivery times.

DHL and E(scam)Bay are ripping off buyers , I pay all duty fees upon checkout on every Ebay int purchase and DHL charges extra duty fees on top of the duty fees paid.so $40 + $20 to ship a Vinyl Record ,,,their shipping is slow and tracking system is bad.

DHL did not update the whereabouts of my item for 9 days. When it was finally updated, I found that my item HAD NOT LEFT THE CITY yet. My item has been travelling for a month now, and it is still in the departure country. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS? I paid $18USD for an item that weights about 5-10 GRAMS, something that could bemailed, and DHL is taking it around the goddamn city for a few weeks! DHL does not deserve anyone's business, and should be put out of business!

DHL regularly leaves parcels that require a signature on the street in downtown Toronto after our business has closed to be stolen. We have video footage of them doing this and the packages being stolen. They call me EVERY SINGLE TIME we have a package shipped to us to confirm business hours and then leave the package in the street again anyways. I cannot imagine a worse way to ship something valuable.

I would have given them 0 or negative stars had there been such options. I expect an express package from oversea that is supposed to arrive after 1 to 3 business days. The package was picked up on the 23rd, arrived at a warehouse in my city of Ottawa at 7:39 am of the 25th, and for some unspecified reason it showed up as "on hold" at their warehouse at 10:40 am on the 25th, with the expected delivery time being the end of the 26th which is today. After waiting until 2:00 pm with no further update, l contacted their customer service via chat just to find out then that the delivery was not going to happen as promised. There is no snow storm in Ottawa today, and the package has already been sitting at their Ottawa warehouse since yesterday's early morning, so there is no excuse for them to miss the delivery. What made it even worse is that they gave no advance notification about the expected delay and wasted my whole day for nothing.

It seems like as long as the person gets the item it doesn’t matter how the service quality is.. 

This will definitely be the last time I deal with DHL i understand that issues arise sometimes but it’s the lack of care to make things right. 

I don’t  expect free deliveries or anything but nothing besides a “it will get there eventually” attitude is what I got.

And it’s not that I am being impatient it’s just patience’s only last so long and then it becomes an inconvenience.

Every call was met with.. just hold on longer, when it all the other companies I deal with would have got it sorted atleast 3 days sooner. 

I hope this email reaches the right channels so, others don’t need to deal with the lack of urgency or information.

I know it’s not your fault it’s just the way the company prioritizes “better late never”  over transparency and customer integrity..
