My car was put into Dinnages Worthing for repair, when collected still had the same problems And MORE. We were charged 134.96 for nothing only to speak to an arrogant useless person!!!! I will never take my car to them again!!!

Incredibly poor communication. Booked for diagnostic due to auto stop/start not working, handbrake not releasing and over revving. Charged us for a repair on the handbrake that didn’t happen, twice. Was told initially that a new battery was all
That was needed and that the over revving was not clutch related yet 3 weeks later they’re telling us we need a new clutch. Had our car for 4 weeks during which time they did absolutely nothing and when I queried, I was told “4 weeks is good, some cars have been here 6-8 weeks waiting for repair”.

Zero communication from them during this time, we had to cal them everytime.

We eventually took our car somewhere else and the clutch was repaired in 1 day.

Handbrake is still not working properly.

So disappointed that a dealership garage can feel it appropriate to charge for non existent repairs and keep cars for weeks on end with zero work carried out.

We did complain, got an apology and an offer to repair the handbrake free of charge… yet we’ve already paid twice.
When we asked for reassurance it would be done in a timely manner, radio silence.

Emailed again, no response

My car was in Dinnages Worthing last week and I would like to congratulate them for the epic way they tried to get an engine breakdown repaired and back to me. Paul, Luke and Olly as first point of contact, were brilliant communicators in the service department. Further, the people behind the scenes who were working on the car also did a fabulous job.
So thank you Dinnages Worthing for excellent communications and fast resolution to a difficult and unexpected engine breakdown.
Every time I have used this garage for MOT or service I have experienced the same excellent customer service care. Thank you.

Avoid this company at all costs.
They are only interested in selling
Cars. Not in aftercare.
Their customer service is awful.
The staff are not interested in
Helping the customer.Service department don’t answer the phone or voicemails. Do not keep you updated.
No courtesy car offered.
We will not buy a Ford again.

I have just had my first and last service at this garage. When booking the service I was told that there would be a complimentary wash which I appreciated. When I went to collect my car I had a cursory look to see if it had been washed and noticed that the wheels were just as they were before. When going to complete the paperwork I mentioned that the car hadn't been washed. I was assured it had been. Thoroughly confused I went back out inspect the car. Looking more closely I could see that it had seen a sponge. It was cleaner than before but many areas of body work were unclean (dirt streaks, many white spots, missed areas) and the wheels were barely touched. Maybe because they are black alloys they decided that the layer of brake dust is ok?. I returned and explained that I could see that a wash had been attempted but it was barely worth the effort. It was explained to me that the guy that washes the car has to do 40 cars so it will only be a 'quick wash'. I am fine with a quick wash but this a bad wash. I suggested leaving it and giving a small refund instead. This was not possible. They said they would rewash. Which was inconvenient because I was on a 'while you wait service'. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited. I was then told it was ready and I could inspect. I said it would be fine and paid. On return to the car it was still unclean. How can you wash a car twice and still fail to clean it? It was probably cleaner than after the first wash a gentle wipe of my finger on an alloy resulted in a filthy finger and a shiny streak where the dirt had been removed. I returned to express my disappointment at the result. I am not fussy and I am not expecting a high standard at all but I do expect that a cloth/sponge and soapy water is used on all the car. The body was still dirty too (I have photos). I was told that the car was cleaned. I inspected it with the service manager. I gently rubbed my finger on the alloy again. I was told that removing brake dust was only possible with acid (!).
I now cannot trust this garage. If something so visible and simple is performed so badly how can I trust a service? Why wouldn't you wash the car semi competently if given a second chance?

They booked my van in for a recall and I was told drop it off at 7 am on the 14/11/25 . So I took a day off work losing a days wage .
I arrived at 7am to be told that my van is not booked in and there is no recall of which there is as I have the letter from Ford . Customer service beyond poor

I cannot stress how much everyone needs to avoid this dealership. Rude, unprofessional and slack are an understatement. I’m unable to go into specifics as this matter will be taken to court but please people, avoid taking your vehicles here, especially if you rely on them to earn a living.

Bought 2 new ford rangers from here in July 2024 one of them went faulty on Boxing Day 2024 less than 6 months old. After the AA got us mobile I took it to Dinnages in Worthing. Paul the service manager was extremely rude and unhelpful, they were unable to fix the problem and diagnosed a part on back order. They refused to give us a hire car and said they had nothing available. (We had driven 2 hours to get to Dinnages from Buckinghamshire which then left us stranded in Worthing). They didn’t want to fix it and told me to take it to a dealer closer to home. I did this and it is still in the garage awaiting A DIFFERENT PART eta June. I have been without my brand new 50k truck for 6 months. Had to fight to get a Ford ranger hire truck, I eventually got a lower spec one after 3 vehicles. Called David in commercial sales who couldn’t care less, told me his wife was getting cold in the car and hung up on me. I was concerned when purchasing the vehicle that we wouldn’t be able to get parts as I know VW struggle with the Amarock. I was told there is absolutely no problem with parts and they can get them easy next day. Tried emailing Paul from service who doesn’t get back to you for weeks even with consistent chasing from me. When he did reply he was rude and had his facts wrong. Dinnages now refusing to refund me because it’s business to business. They just want your money and don’t care about anything else. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Service 0/10. Can’t fault Jack Fry who was amazing at the beginning of our purchase and has since left the company. I have all correspondence via email and more than happy to share with anyone interested.

No one replies to voicemails
No one answers the phone
I have left many messages
I have no idea where my car is or why it’s taking 11 days
This is totally unacceptable
