Very poor ! Ordered a ladies waterproof cycling jacket. They sent the wrong one, a much cheaper version to what I had ordered. I rang the number provided for on line orders which puts you though to a shop who cannot help. They told me the online orders are dealt with someone based in Bangladesh and to email them which I did. Three days later I received an email telling me to return the item recorded delivery (which I would have to pay for even though it was their mistake) and to put in another email what I would like them to do even though I have already requested a full refund.
Extremely poor customer service. Very frustrating service. Out of pocket, no refund, wrong jacket and expected to pay for the return!!

Don't buy a bike from these people especially if it arrives in a box. You effectively have no warranty whatsoever.

Bought a bike from them in March and it developed a problem 4 months later. I spoke to the shop and exchanged several emails but they refuse to fulfil any warranty obligations.

I am sure given the time I could prove that the problem my bike developed was due to faulty manufacture. The outer cable to the rear derailleur was so short that the tight bend caused too much friction so that the gears did not change as the cable was released.

The shop maintained that the problem could be fixed by adjustments and was probably caused by the cable stretching which is frankly nonsense. The cable stretching or slipping would cause problems as the cable was pulled and not as it was released. There were no problems with the few adjustments that can be made to the rear derailleur.

I am very disappointed as I was hopeful of finding a good local bike shop.

In my 66 years this is first time I have had a problem with a warranty claim!

As an owner of an online retail business in Bloxham people often say "you can’t beat the personal customer touch" that you get with a store, well in Broadribbs case this is laughable. Their Banbury store staff are useless, I’ve had to contact them 5 times now to find out where my order is (they took the money from my card), nearly 3 weeks later I gave in and went to the Banbury shop to be told its sat in their shop! No apology for the inconvenience I was TOLD it will be built Monday, rang two days later to see if it was ready was told no it will be the end of the week again no apology! Your team require customer service training NOW! I await a response!

Amazing service.
I had an idea of what bike I wanted to buy so I searched online looking for the best price and discovered these guys were offering the best price available with free delivery. I then called the shop to ask for a little advice and the guys in the shop could not be more helpful, offering advice on my requirements.
Since the bike arrived, exactly as promised, I have had to call back on two occasions for a little extra help/advice and on each occasion the response from the guys in the shop was amazing.
It's clear that the whole team at Broadribb/DiscountCyclesDirect are cycling enthusiasts, have a deep knowledge of bikes and cycling and enjoy helping other cyclists or novices.
It is a pleasure to do business with these guys.

unhelpful, unresponsive, unreliable online shopping experience. Never get back to me whenever I call to chase up. Still unable to complete an order with them after there's weeks of waiting for assistance. Sadly it seems they are too busy to care :(

Speedy delivery especially with the current situation with the coronavirus, I ordered my bike Friday afternoon and it was delivered on Tuesday morning, the bike was package well and easy to put together, I highly recommend.

Bike was shipped fairly quickly which given the current situation with the Covid-19 Pandemic is amazing.

I did email after a few days for a follow up and got a prompt response from the team, definitely an easy transaction and would totally recommend for anyone looking to purchase a new bike.

I contacted the team after finding the bike my son wanted for Christmas on their website. I received outstanding customer service from a very helpful chap who answered all of my questions. I can't fault Discount Cycles Direct. I ordered a bike late on a Monday evening and it was actioned the following morning; throughout the process whenever I emailed they responded promptly and were extremely helpful. No question was stupid and they answered with my best interests in mind.
I will definitely look to use them again in the future.

Discount Cycles Direct had the bike I wanted, in the size I wanted, but I had a few questions first. 'Dan' responded to all my questions quickly and with good humour. When I eventually took the plunge and ordered the bike, Dan let me know when it had been shipped, and then it was easy to track via the courier. It arrived in good time, perfectly as described. I am very happy with the experience and am happy to recommend DCD.

From my first contact to the bike arriving, the service i received from Discount Cycles Direct was excellent. My order had some bespoke requirements, as well as involving Cyclescheme, but each question was answered promptly and knowledgeably to my satisfaction. My bespoke requirement was exactly as requested.

If i was purchasing another bike via an online retailer, i would certainly consider Discount Cycles Direct at the top on my list.

From the immediate response to my first query about the shape of the handle bar (my wife was very precise about her requirements), to ordering, tracking, delivery to a different address (as a surprise gift) and following up a minor problem, the service I have received from Discount Cycles Direct has been faultless and first class. Brad looked after me and, as a new member of staff, this speaks volumes about their focus on customer care. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to others.

I've been looking around for a lightweight road bike for some time and came across some great reductions on this site.

Dan, the website manager, was very efficient and approachable. He tracked down one of the few remaining models of bike, arranged for me to pop into the store to check the frame size on a similar model and gave me a great price. When the suppliers let him down on the delivery date, he negotiated some free clothing for me - it was obvious that he had strong connections with Cannondale.

Dan's attention to detail is excellent, he communicates well and is well organised.

I chose to purchase my bike through the bike2workscheme, but I was after a very specific bike, the Sunday Model C.

I couldn't find this bike at any local bike stores so I decided to buy it online. For those that haven't used a bike scheme there is a bit of faff involved, you have to apply for vouchers, sign forms, send vouchers off, all of which can take some time. However Discount Cycles Direct website makes it very easy to start the process, they have a simple form you fill in, they get back in touch with you very quickly quickly with a quote (required for the form), in fact throughout the entire process communication was excellent.

You pay a small deposit to reserve your bike, which is only fair as (I presume with the bike I chose) the bike would need to be ordered in, but this got refunded as promised as soon as my bike was processed for delivery.

The bike arrived quickly and was well packaged. All in all a happy customer and would definitely recommend them to others looking to buy a bike.

Great service, I found the bike I wanted which was a 2014 model and was £100 cheaper than this years model, I also saw that I could purchase this on 0% finance, placed the order and had an email from Dan, really good correspondence from Dan and had everything sorted within a day, the bike came very quick and was very well packaged. would definitely recommend using these guys. Also I love the fact that I am dealing with a company which started in 1919 rather than these large corporations. Keep doing what you are doing!

I had great consultative service from the guys at Discount Cycles...don't be miss led by the name though, as the product I wanted was not discounted at all but sold at full SRP (£2,999)...thus I had to negotiate a la rug shop in a souk to get a 10% discount, but I did get one...
The communication was great, the delivery swift...although asking me to leave a review on here was the first and only follow up since I took delivery of the bike a few weeks back...a simple follow up mail to check everything was ok would have been nice... since I spent over £2.5k...
Would def. recommend though.... probably better to visit one of their stores, I am sure the service would be great...
