Poor customer service and bait and switch methods when selling items. They offer one price to get you to send in your items then drop the amount to half

their service was really nice and their really nice people.

DKOldies has it all. From retro systems, games, accessories, etc. to modern games and they even buy your collection. One thing: I ordered an Xbox and it was awesome until it stopped working, so I called them and they have a 365-day warranty, and I was promptly shipped a replacement. Would recommend!

I have ordered from DKoldies a few different times and each time there is a problem with my order. The first time when I got a PlayStation console, the third-party controller that they sent did not function at all. I plugged it into the console and it literally did nothing. I also ordered a PlayStation 2 console that will not Read discs whatsoever.

I’ve read the negative reviews about this company but gave them the benefit of the doubt, and it turns out that the bad reviews are true. If you are in the market for any kind of retro games or consoles, please save yourself the trouble of having to deal with this company and buy them literally anywhere else. This company sells faulty consoles at extremely high prices and it is a pain having to go through the return and replacement process which I’m currently going through with them now.

I offered them my snes with 19 games. Including “Mario rpg” and “mario paint” that included the mouse and two controllers. They offered me $191. No fine print. Nothing. Ok. They saw the pics they made me send. I send it to them. Great. They sent me $141. Saying the system had sun damage and my yoshi games label was torn. There was no fine print. They saw the pics. I trusted them. Wow. Color me un impressed. I will Never trust or recommend this company again. And after reading all the reviews well dang it I should Have looked first. Shame on them. They never said the price of what they would pay me was based on the color of my system or a torn label.

They will MAKE YOU OVERPAY FOR ANY CONSOLE DO NOT BUY HERE. they are THE number 1 CAUSED of the vintage console inflation. Yes you will get your consoles. Yes they probably will work (even though I’ve seen people get consoles that did NOT work. Do not buy here save your money and go LITERALLY ELSE.

I have more than a dozen orders with DK Oldies over the last couple months. From loose, cosmetically flawed games to complete games and accessories and a console. I have had nothing but great experiences with this firm.

The ease of use regarding the website to the funny and interesting emails asking for my opinion or background concerning the games I loved as a child. The pricing, the selection and the warranties keep me coming back for more. Actually just submitted order 14 or 15 today (1/25/26) I absolutely regret not finding the firm when I began collecting vintage games.

They post discount codes on the website so you can skip the endless hunts for phantom discounts that dont work most of the time anyway. If they select your order to be filmed they always use your name which makes you feel just a little more appreciated and they always throw in a free gift when its filmed.

The ads are fun and quirky, the company offers a one year warranty on consoles and games to help provide peace of mind and in an already stressful world, that little bit of extra effort by the company brings me happiness and relief.

I 100% recommend this company to my friends and family on a daily basis as I believe they truly want me and you to have a great experience when shopping. This company provides you the chance to relive those great times of yesteryear when you could park in front of the tv for Saturday morning cartoons with your cereal and get prepared to save the world as a soldier in Contra, race through through levels at breakneck speed as Sonic or find yourself submerged in the sewers as a ninja turtle. DK Oldies sells nostalgia and they are exceptional at their work.

They sell broken, uncleaned, unrepaired consoles and controllers as if they are new and charge crazy prices for them. Utter scam.

A few years ago I bought a wii u off this site. It was dirty and appeared to have never been cleaned. After 13 months it died. I contacted them and never received a response. No refund, to return, nothing. Wasted several hundred dollars.

SCAM!!! They are outrageous. "refurbished is laughable"

Shipping cost is crazy. Just tried to order a manual for a gamecube game (just the manual, no game no case)
They wanted almost 25 dollars shipping on a manual. WOW.

Had a good experience with DK Oldies selling a bunch of old Wii stuff, remotes, games, etc. Went back and forth just outlining what I had and what they would pay. They paid the cost of shipping everything to them and then promptly sent me a check in the mail once they received my items.

DKOldies.com is absolutely wonderful. My brother in-law turned me on to them. They have a huge selection retro games and consoles. I've purchased some really rare games from them at great prices. The games were all in really good condition for being upwards of 25 years old. I would and will recommend DKOldies.com to everyone.

Shady company. Consoles are sold full of dirt and leaking capacitors. They break down after the warranty expires.

They had sold me an N64 with bloated caps in its PSU years ago.

PEOPLE, watch youtuber reviews on this company. Also check ebay first for price comparison. Dont expect premium consoles, despite their premium prices here.

Also, those guys destroyed a rare IQue gameboy, thinking its a fake. Pretty telling about their knowledge regarding retro consoles. You can watch the footage on youtube, so very sad.

I emailed DKOldies about my old Nintendo and games. They gave me a quote and a shipping label. I mailed them my game system at no cost to me. Here we are 6 days later and I've got a check. Great, thanks guys. I'll be in touch about some other stuff.

I seen a lot of people talk bad about DK Oldies online, but Ive ordered from them 3 times now, and everytime ive had a good experience! I recommend if you are a retro game collector

They suck. Controller didn't connect to console. Disc drive wouldn't read any discs. After opening it up it was missing thermal paste despite coming with paper work claiming it had been changed. Honestly this is. Disgusting company. Who works for them should be ashamed

although its prices are a bit high, the shipping is very fast (about one day, or sometimes the same day)
and the customer service is awesome. ive seen some videos saying they are scams, but from all my orders it was great and i didnt see any problems. when i gave my dad the SNES i bought from there, the Super mario world game battery wasnt replaced and was drained, but it was an easy fix and wasnt a big problem. i also like it that when you order, you get some "dk points" that you can use for some coupon codes that make some orders free, or at least significantly cost less. the only cons i see is that they do show the cosmetically flawed prices instead of the good prices, but 1 more click and i can see the real price. additionally, they do give you 3rd party controllers, but for some that is ok, and for those who dont want them there is usually on option to get the real controllers when buying the system bundles. overall great experience, 9/10

I must say I was pleasantly surprised to receive my ps2 controller today. If I am going to be honest I had no expectations, leaning more on the low side. I have never bought “used” electronics before. I have heard to many horror stories but I thought I would take a chance. The ps2 controller came packed with care, clean and it works flawlessly. I appreciate how you took care to package it and in a timely manner. These old game consoles ps2 & ps3 bring back a youthful era. Thank you much I will put you on my favorites. DKOldies has been the number one retro video game reseller for as long as I recall. They're more trustworthy than random e-bay purchases and they have the best prices of any other resale site. When you buy a game or a console it's guaranteed to work and easy to exchange. Customer service has always been readily available and extremely courteous.
