Excellent customer service
We had a tight time frame, but Anisa contacted us ASAP, honoured the sale prices of the items (even though our purchase fell outside of that time) and made the whole process smooth and easy. Excellent communication from the team and great customer service.

I have purchased 4 large basket Hinsko Planter on a stand. However one of the legs snapped off and I have had to buy another one to replace it. My partner tried to weld it back on but unfortunately it broke again.
I have so many indoor plants and not enough shelves.

Unfortunately not happy customer
Unfortunately, our experience is not a happy one. Firstly, during delivery our blind has been damaged - thanks to the customer service, someone came to have a look and said that they will send someone to fix it. So hopefully that will be sorted. Secondly, one piece of the bed has damage, which was reported. Lastly, bed and mattress are not compatible! There is a huge gap +\- 5 cm between frame and mattress. My whole hand can come in… be carefull and check everything twice before you order.

Best customer service experience!
I contacted early settler for a bench seat I was interested in and needed a price for delivery as I live in a regional location. I was emailed by the most lovely representative, Anisa Metollari, who provided me with a speedy quote and even called me to follow up. Anisa made the whole process so easy, I purchased the seat and will definitely shop at early settler again just for the fantastic customer service which is hard to find these days!

One star is too generous.
We are still waiting on an office chair we bought in early October ‘24 from the Wairau Park store. We were told we’d have to wait til the new year, and then the store was closed for a month (not sure why it couldn’t be delivered to us?!) Today (7 March 2025) we were told it was ready for pick up. Wouldn’t it have been nice if they’d offer to deliver? But, no.
Interestingly, this is the second time we have been delayed like this with this same store. On that occasion we were rudely addressed, and demanded to come and collect another overdue furniture order when it finally turned up. As though we were inconveniencing the store workers! On both occasions when we asked for our money back, they could only offer store credit. Do it all over again?! No thank you.
Absolutely shocking its experience every time. We won’t be buying from Early Settler again.
