The product does not work as advertised. We discovered numerous bugs that never should have made it into a finished commercial product and spent considerable time and effort documenting and addressing these issues with the support team. Several features (most notably the ability to properly display opening and closing times of business clients) do not work, and we were told that a) we could pay their developers to write custom code to address this or b) wait for a "fix" to be released in a future version of the platform. After giving the company multiple opportunities to address the issues we had, we requested a refund, only to be told they won't provide one because it had been too long (3 months) since we'd made the purchase. Most of that time was spent trying to obtain resolution to issues before we finally gave up and asked for a refund. It should be noted that we were initially promised a refund, only to have that walked back by another member of their support team. We bought a Source License, only to be denied access to the source code because we weren't buying a dedicated hosting plan from them. This company's customer service leaves a great deal to be desired, as it would often take a week to receive any response to issues we raised.

EDIT: The company provided a response to this review offering to put our site on a dedicated server we provide, but this is not an acceptable solution to us because it would require another outlay of funds that I do not wish to make. Additionally, I find it interesting they would respond within one day to a bad review but take a week and a half to respond to support emails asking for assistance with product issues.
At this point, our experience with them has been so negative that I do not wish to continue their service and AGAIN (4th time) ask for a refund. If they aren't willing to do this then I will dispute it with my bank and provide the entire email chain of our conversations with them as proof we should receive a refund.

Great software for your directory. Robust ad platform included and more for monetization. I would highly recommend if you are looking to build a directory, get on a call and learn more. I did and it was a great decision ever since!

Communication with Daniel from E-Directory was an excellent experience for us. Daniel was very quick and accommodating in his response.
We considered based on the complete set of built-in features and mobile options with freedom of further customization by full source code access. This made our decision-making process much easier.

There were also some ideas and plugins that I hadn't thoughts of that will definitely help grow my business.

After suffering with clunky out-dated directory software, I was thrilled to find an all-in-one solution that covers my needs and then some. Listing options are very complete for my advertisers to promote every element of their organization to visitors. A real business booster! Was very pleased to accept the discounted monthly rate too. Daniel was especially helpful.

Non-existent support for their buggy product.

Quite frankly I purchased eDirectory because I had simply run out of patience playing around with other platforms to try to get them to do what eDirectory does out of the box. Now I can spend time building my directory instead of tinkering with plug-ins, extensions, and shortcodes.

I was looking for a way to expand/digitize a current print publication and the features available with eDirectory fit the bill better than anything else I have found. Looking forward to reaching a LOT of new clients

I'm off on a new Venture with edirectory, even though I have no experience in building an online directory I do have an incredible amount of confidence that edirectory has given me with their amazing level of support. edirectory has given me the to tools to bring my vision to life building a new business in an industry I'm passionate about.
