I wouldn't even give them 1 star if i had the chance. Totally unprofessional company.Take ages to reply to emails. Send you old stock and short dated alarms.Applied for a refund and nearly a month later I still haven't received it.They say they can't issue credit notes which is ridiculous as you need something for your accounts.Really beware buying from this totally unprofessional company

First time i have used this company, never again. We are a property company who have dealt with all walks of supplier but never in my years of dealing with a company have i ever come across this level of unprofessionalism. From the very start of a call they disrespected me and, continued a cycle of goading and disrespecting whilst finding themselves highly amused by it. When questioned what was happening, I was put on hold. Each time i tried to speak, they put me back on hold. This is not just poor service — it is open disrespect to both myself and my company. I run a professional business. If any of my staff spoke to a customer this way they would be dismissed for gross misconduct. I will not deal with companies that allow staff to mock and goad customers.
I have now submitted a formal written complaint and Subject Access Request for the call recording to 727 Trading Limited (Company No. 14734177). I expect a proper resolution of the order and a genuine response to the appalling conduct.
Until then I cannot recommend this company. Professional trade customers should look elsewhere

Have ordered from them before, no problem. This time I had 4 panel heaters. When fitting one was faulty and didn't work. I requested a refund on 31st July (as per their process). When I didn't get a response after 2 weeks I emailed, thinking that perhaps their systems were down. Almost a month later I have still heard nothing. It is not EW4U's fault the heater didn't work. But I'm very disappointed with their aftercare. You cannot afford this when you are a sole trader. Also the time to keep chasing. Obvioiusly I won't be able to trust to order from them again and I would urge anyone else to be cautious.

Sent the items out quickly , but don't order the wrong thing or get a faulty item and try and get a credit for returns ,nothing happens , better to keep them and sell on ebay , at least you get something .

I am very disappointed with the overall experience. I selected a product on your website based on its photo, but I did not notice that the actual product was determined by a different selection method. Within one minute of placing the order, I contacted your customer service team to explain that I had made a mistake and requested that the order be cancelled. Furthermore, there was a significant price difference between the product I intended to purchase and the one that was actually ordered.
Instead of cancelling the order, I received an order confirmation and shipping notification approximately three hours later. My cancellation request, submitted almost immediately after placing the order, appears to have been ignored.
I find this order processing practice unacceptable. When a customer reports an ordering mistake almost instantly, there should be a process in place to stop the order before it is dispatched. This would improve the customer experience while also reducing unnecessary returns and associated costs.
It gives the impression that the company places greater emphasis on internal KPIs and order processing speed than on customer satisfaction. In the long run, this approach can damage customer trust and negatively affect the brand's reputation.

Hi, I bought 10 GU10 bulbs six months ago. These are supposed to last several years. Three of them have already failed. Anne quickly contacted the supplier and it’s been agreed all will be refunded.

I bought several other electrical fittings which are all working well.

Needed to check stock, as they mention on their website that there could be delays if items had to be sourced from other facilities. Tried the live chat, and that did not work, however, a call to a very helpfull lady ended up with my complete order being delivered the very next day. Delighted!

I placed an order with Electrical Wholesalers and was unfortunately outside the return window. I contacted their customer service department and spoke with Jennifer, who provided excellent service. She was very helpful and arranged for my return to be accepted for an exchange.

I am extremely pleased with the support I received. Their customer service is fantastic, delivery is always reliable, and their prices are very competitive.

Their customer service has been above and beyond. They picked up that I had ordered one item in a different colour than everything else and checked before despatch. It was my mistake and their diligence saved me time and money.

Absolute shambles of a company. I ordered lots of sockets for a kitchen. Half of them i ordered correctly the other half not. So hands up my mistake. I wanted to return them unopened within a 30 day period and then order the remaining correct ones (yes, they were still getting the business) They refused saying i was outside my window and that window is 10 days. I was out of the country and after trying to talk nicely to them, they still said no. What sort of customer service is that in this day and age. Its not even about the money, i work in sales myself and if i done that to my customers, i wouldn't have any. A sure way of getting repeat business. Stay away from this mob, there are better companies out there that will support properly

Bad company - order arrived with missing items and a note with "Items To Follow". Having chased three times and been fobbed off with made up delivery dates. I'm still waiting........ Now all emails are goiing unanswered.

Wrong cable sizes sent and 3 x 32A RCBOs missing from my delivery. I have phoned and sent numerous emails but there has been no acknowledgement or reply. I have had to cancel the planned work as I have no idea if the items I have paid for will ever appear. Will be seeking a refund via my credit card company as there is no communication from electricalwholesalers4u leaving me with no options and out of pocket.

A good deal and everything arrived the next day. Would use again

Half the order missing, wouldn’t believe me that it was missing insisted on reviewing the cctv to make sure it hadn’t been shipped but needed the items desperately. Got conflicting information from call centre handlers useless I would t waste my time and money again took my money instantly but having to wait over 10 days for a refund

I purchased 3x smoke alarms in a pack as part of a larger order. One smoke alarm did not work. I complained to the retailer who told me to contact the manufacturer which I did. The manufacturer asked me to post the defective item to them which I did at my own expense. The manufacturer said that a component had blown and this was not covered by their warranty. I explained to the manufacturer and the retailer than the unit had never worked and all our electrician did was slot it onto a base unit but they were not interested. I explained that the retailer was in breach of the Sale Of Goods Act 1979 as they had supplied an item that was not for purpose but I do not think they understood. Therefore, I have now issued a claim under s. 75 of the Consumer Credit Credit. For the sake of £18.66, I think it would have made more commercial sense for the retailer simply to have replaced the item as they now have a negative review, a merchant services claim and the loss of a future customer but that is obviously their decision. It's a shame beecause I much prefer using smaller businesses rather Amazon etc. but this sort of thing partly explains why Amazon do so well.
