As a start they been great easy communication good price for insurance hopefully wont have to claim

I posted a review previously warning people to avoid this company!! The insurance company contacted me on the review to say they would look into this case to investigate it further and try and resolve it. I have heard nothing since! Its been 19 months now and ive still had no pay out. My car that was written off has only just been removed from my driveway 2 months ago. Absolutely terrible company AVOID at all costs

On two occasions they put my insurance up (once by £100 and a 2nd time by £134!) a month because they said they had information about my claim which I had already declared and said I didn’t know the settlement amount when taking out the policy! They then said my son had a claim because I had accidentally clicked yes on a previous compare quote (apparently according to Elephant information from previous go compare quotes is proof!). Even when checking he had never had a claim they still would not remove it because they said the information from the claims database may be wrong! To add he didn’t even have a driving licence on the date I’d accidentally put the claim on a quote! Horrendous company and would never use them again! And then when I raised a complaint, the man told me there was no point because it wouldn’t be upheld because they’d followed the policy and procedures! So basically they can use false information about you to increase premiums. Absolutely crooks!!!

Spoke to Jonathan about my car insurance renewal quote today as I wanted to change elements of cover at renewal. He was very professional, calm, easy to understand and thorough. It was a genuine pleasure speaking to him. I was happy with the final price and renewed cover. He then mentioned that he'd only been on the phones for a week - he seemed so experienced that I thought he'd been doing the job much longer. Thanks Jonathan - Elephant are lucky to have you!

Been with elephant 2 years, up to now not had to make a claim, unfortunately was crashed into the other day and car written off. Elephant have been nothing short of excellent in how they have handled it, they settled my anxiety from the get go as I have never been in the situation before, they have arranged and pursued everything for me and provided me with a settlement within 5 days. I am very satisfied with Elephant, the customer service is great ( I also always seem to reach an English call centre which is an added bonus)

I got a quote from Elephant 1 month before my current policy was due to expire. The quote was valid for a month so I held off buying. When I came to take the policy a week or so before my policy expired, the payment failed and I was told to call. They said they couldn't honour the quote and they requoted me £100 more. Now I am in a situation where all other insurers are obviously higher than they would have been 1 month ago as it's so close to my current policy expiring. Thanks for costing me £100.

Ever tried to actually speak to renewals? Don't bother, you'll never get through. Won't be renewing with them.

Extremely terrible experience, yes the offer cheap prices but from the “automatic” renewal almost charging me then I got new car insurance because I got a new car and was cheaper elsewhere and they have failed to tell me that someone has made a claim of over £1000 on my insurance loosing my 3 years no clamis and increasing my new policy over a scratch that I settled privately, wouldn’t recommend if there was a 0 star option I would have definitely chose it
