Ceased trading, with my money!
Having previously ordered from Elsie's Attic with no issues I bought 2 sweatshirts in early January. Only one arrived, but the packing note said both had been shipped. I emailed with photo evidence and received a bounceback saying my email would be dealt with, I chased a week later, no reply/no bounceback. I chased again 3 days after that and got the out of office that said they had ceased trading and all orders/refunds had been fulfilled. Not mine! I don't have my hoodie and I'm out of pocket by £40. Clearpay can't help because the order has to be cancelled or refunded by the business, and they are ignoring all contact. I appreciate that they are in a difficult position but they should absolutely maintain customer contact and resolve the outstanding issues. Appalling.
Stolen my money!
I'm in the same situation as some other reviewers! I placed an order on January 15th and received confirmation. Then on 19th I received an email saying they had been let down by their supplier for part of my order so there would be a delay and that their team had been struck with 'winter bugs'. I have since emailed several times and received an automated reply saying they've closed down but all orders had been dispatched. Their website is nowhere to be found and social media's seem to be deleted. I've ordered from them before so I thought it was a genuine company but I feel like I've been scammed (and I'm clearly not the only one!) I've never been in a situation like this so I'm not really sure what to do. Absolutely shocking behaviour.

Appalling customer service
Appalling customer service! I have 3 items to return and emails are not responded to. The clothes are poor quality, ill fitting and not as described. The website is no longer working and no one responds to my multiple emails requesting a return. Do not buy from this shop.
DO NOT ORDER
I ordered an item on the 13 Jan and then the emailed a week alter to say it was delayed. Also included a sub story about the staff all being ill. Now, in February, with the items still not having arrived, I emailed and got a response saying they had gone out of business and all orders had been supplied. This is WRONG! They obviously knew they were having problems and kept my money. Now I have to fight the bank to get it back. Unethical way of working, I don't know how they can behave like this

Mixed feelings about Elsiesattic. I have had a couple of nice items from them, but the last 2 orders have not been a positive experience. Ordered a pre-order dress to then wait a very long time for delivery ( it ended up quite a few weeks more than had been advertised) also while waiting for the dress I found out that the sizing had been incorrectly advertised & was smaller than had been listed on the website (& on Facebook adverts). Fortunately it did fit but was not as roomy as I would have liked, & I would not have ordered it had the correct sizing been listed. I also had issues with my most recent order in January 2025. Ordered on 19th Jan, received an email on 22nd Jan saying a shipment was on it's way, then received another email on 24th Jan saying the item I had ordered was out of stock? This has happened a couple of times now - being told the item is out of stock days after my order has been submitted (& paid for). Perhaps a better stock control on the website is needed to avoid this. No other company I purchase from seems to have this issue (even other small UK businesses like Room Lytham or Kit & Kaboodle), especially when you are told that a shipment is on the way & then 2 days later to be told it's out of stock? Very reluctant to purchase from then again due to this.

Terrible customer service. I ordered a scarf which came on time, however I could not wear it as every time I did my clothes were covered in fluff! I returned the scarf 2.12.24 and have heard nothing to date 12.12.24. I have contacted via FB messenger, Paypal & direct email. NO reply from them, no refund, nothing. A very bad example of a small business. Do not buy from this company!

Outstanding customer service
I absolutely love Elsies attic. Clothes are comfortable, good quality, cater for all sizes pretty much and the customer service is so good. I recently had an issue with one of my dungarees and they sent me a return label and replaced them despite being 12 weeks old. Im really impressed how they sorted out my issue so easily.

Gorgeous hoodie
Ordered a plain hoodie in mint green for the gym. I’m tall and reviews said it was too long, excellent for me! It is lush!! Warm cosy, a gorgeous colour and loooooong! It’s got thumb holes too - which will make my 10 year old very jealous 🤣🤣

Skull dress
It's the first time I've used Elsie's Attic. I ordered my dress Sunday and it arrived Wednesday the same week. Really pleased with my dress, will be using Elsie's Attic again.

Appalling customer service
I placed an order Wednesday last week, and had an email yesterday saying it was despatched. No tracking number given so had to ask them for it. They answered and provided it. However when I checked it on Royal Mail website last night it said they were waiting since Friday afternoon for the retailer to hand it over. This morning the tracking remained unchanged. I’ve sent numerous emails to the retailer today and got no response whatsoever. On messenger it says their office hours are 9-2.30pm so zero chance of any response today. Their items are not exactly cheap either. Don’t waste your money folks!!!!

I wouldn’t recommend buying as they tell you that your order has been despatched but it hasn’t. Just being fobbed off blaming Royal Mail when tracking shows they haven’t even sent it almost 3 weeks after ordering.
Possible scam business, avoid
Ordered a dress 4th August as a pre-order after seeing a social media ad, got a shipping notification 6th September. Item is still not here, and tracking information is non existent. Paid £55 for a dress so it wasn't cheap and feeling like I've been scammed here by a fake company. Contacted customer service, no answer as yet.

Ordered an autumn theme hoodie from them. Was a little worried as never used them before, but I shouldn’t have been! The quality is very very good, really lovely and warm. Will definitely order from them again.
Slow delivery and low quality products
Ordered for the first time from Elsie's Attic and it'll definitely be my last,
My order took 11 days to arrive and when I sent them a message on Facebook I was just told there were alot of emails to get through and to bear with them?
I simply asked for a tracking number for my item as one was not provided.
I also emailed them and finally got tracking information.
They say on they're website they aim to deliver items within 48 hours but 11 days is a bit of a joke.
I ordered a hoodie for £29.99 and the quality is so thin, cheap and nasty! It is definitely not worth my hard earned cash!

Delivery brilliant and overall a lovely dress. I ordered the belladonna dress that should fit upto a size 24. Unfortunately what they don’t mention is that if you are busty and a plus size (22) the top half of the dress cuts your bust in half and unless you hitch it forward so uncomfortable on the neck it will not fit you unless you wear a belts right under your bust. I was disappointed but in my opinion if you are bigger than an 18 this will not fit you as it should and as pictured
