I’ve been very impressed with the training at ERR. The instructors are clearly experts in their field and take the time to ensure everyone understands the practical applications of the work. The location is convenient and the equipment is top-notch. It feels like a very supportive environment for learning a technical trade.

I give a rating of 1 only because of the bad experience with them and because their ratings are artificially inflated, some people give an artificial rating of 5 several times, at least once a month, just to have a good average.

The lessons and exams are well organised and the lecturers are well understanding and helpful.

Good place and great tutors

Very professional and helpful in all measures.

I enrolled in a training course with Engineering Real Results Ltd which cost £10,000, funded through a loan that I am still repaying.

I originally signed up for the plumbing course, but the only material I received was a course book that contained numerous mistakes and errors. There was also very little support available when I tried to work through the material.

Because of this, I contacted the company and asked to leave the course and request a refund. I was told that a refund was not possible and that my only option was to switch courses, so I switched to the electricians course instead.

After switching courses, I never received any course materials or training, and there was still no meaningful support provided. On top of that, I am now unable to log into their training platform, meaning I cannot access anything at all.

Despite this, I am still responsible for repaying the £10,000 loan for a course where I feel I have received no real training or value for money.

I have asked the company to resolve this situation and provide a refund, and I hope they will address this matter properly.

SCAM. Hi all, I sign for this course in 2020, I fail a couple of times some exams, but now we are in 2026 march, and I'm still doing 2391 without doing my NVQ or AM2. All the management team are so unhelpful. I failed my GOLA on 25february and I ask for a new date, and they give it to me on the 20may. I have to wait 3 months to retake my GOLA again. How is this even possible? Every time I had to wait this time of amount of time! After 6years, spending a lot of money, a lot of energy, with close to 0 progress. Embarrassing college.

The training at the training centres is briliant, training books great, but what let's it down for me was that you couldn't book into a practical/ exam before you finished a tma, then had to wait months for it. The time I have wasted because of this when all added up must be a year in total.

The tutor/instructor Rob is a great teacher with quality attributes. The facilities are quality and standard. The staffs are also excellent. ERR is a place to learn and do training.

The training centre (Featherstone) has got amazing people handling the day-day tasks but it's a point to note that the Admin is a pain in the .... when it comes to organising anything, they respond in an inhumane manner and less considerate to students plight..

So many hoops to jump through when trying to book practical weeks, not providing enough assistance, apart from one male member of the customer service team who was more helpful than the rest to say the least.

Do not use this training provider if you actually want to get your qualification in a reasonable time. I signed up for a plumbing course and specifically requested the Featherstone exam centre.

I waited over two months just to get an exam booked. When they finally sent an invitation, it wasn't for Featherstone—it was for Wolverhampton, miles away, for a date all the way out on April 22nd.

When I chased them up about this unacceptable delay and the wrong location, their "Student Liaison Office" emailed me a letter they claimed was "lost in the post" and tried to force me into accepting the Wolverhampton date with an artificial 3 PM deadline the exact same day.

The administration is a complete mess, the waiting times are excessive, and they try to pressure you into accepting their mistakes. I have now placed my account in formal dispute with the finance company due to their failure to provide the service in a timely manner. Save your money and go to a local college instead.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Ignore any bogus auto response they put, happy to send on my evidence to anyone thinking of using these clowns

Booked on to a practical which fell over Xmas, was then suggested to go on the waiting list for the 1st sessions in the new year, had to chase from January and February to then be told they will cancel my course and not allow me to book on to a sensible practical session. Why allow me to reschedule a practical if you were going to remove me from my course without any form of correspondence. Again, avoid at all costs! Every assignment had been completed, was only needing final practical and exam sessions but they won’t allow me to undertake, just take thousands and slam the door on you.

The lecturers consistently demonstrate strong subject knowledge, clear communication, and a genuine commitment to helping students progress. Their guidance has made complex concepts easier to understand and has created an environment where learning feels both structured and encouraging.

The practical workshops are well organised, safe, and equipped to industry standards, allowing me to develop real confidence in my skills. Staff maintain a professional atmosphere while remaining approachable and supportive, always willing to explain, demonstrate, or provide feedback when needed. This combination of professionalism and encouragement has played a major role in my growth.

Through the support of the college and its team, I have strengthened my practical abilities, deepened my understanding of electrical principles, and developed a more disciplined and professional approach to my work. I am genuinely grateful for the dedication and effort the staff put into every session, and I look forward to continuing my development under their guidance.

These people will pressure you onto a course and by the time you realise it is a scam you are told that in order to get a refund you must seek legal advice.

Avoid at all costs...

I can't believe i fell for this scam. I all seem legitimate. I signed up in October they sent me a book with which i completed it within a week then they sent me another book was working through it. Comes to early December i submit another test no response nothings. Comes to January still nothing, and so on till April when i can no longer access my account. No response from anyone.

Please do your research before wasting your time and money with this company. It is a scam!
It's all about getting you to take a loan to pursue your "studies". please Avoid!

ERR in Pontefract is the best if you’re from the north and yorkshire. Their facilities are fully equipped and there are plenty of practice areas to practice. Our Instructor Mark and Sean are highly knowledgeable, friendly and very supportive and helpful. They teach you very well and they make sure you understand everything. They will not let each student to leave their premises if you don’t get everything. That’s why everytime I leave the premises I feel fulfilled and learned a lot.
