Structural defects and broken bolts - Buyer beware
I purchased a Toyota 3L engine from Every Car Japan (Every Co., Ltd.). While they claimed the engine was 'tested and working,' it arrived with major structural defects that were hidden at the time of sale.
My professional mechanic (Luc Auto Service) discovered:
Broken bolts snapped off inside the engine block and cylinder head.
A failed oil pump, which would have caused immediate engine seizure.
Stripped threads requiring professional machining.
Despite a repair bill of $5,004.32 CAD to make the engine functional, the CEO, Yuichiro Watabe, refused any compensation, claiming these are 'standard risks' for used engines. Snapped bolts inside a block are NOT standard wear; they are a failure of inspection.
If you buy from them, expect to pay thousands more in repairs. They do not stand behind their products. I have attached photos of the broken bolts and the professional repair report as proof.

This review relates to a past individual engine transaction.
At the time of sale, the engine was inspected and confirmed to be operational based on our standard inspection procedures for used engines.
No critical structural defects were identified during inspection prior to shipment.
Used engines are sold as used mechanical units, and internal conditions may change after installation, transportation, or third-party handling.
For this reason, we clearly explain the nature and limitations of used engines before sale.
This matter was discussed directly with the customer at the time, and our position was communicated accordingly.
Due to confidentiality obligations, we are unable to discuss further technical details in a public forum.
EVERY has been operating as a fully registered Japanese exporter since 2006 and continues to supply used vehicles and parts worldwide under applicable regulations.
100% satisfied with Every Co
I have been a customer of Every Co for 15 years and i have bought close to 50 units all driven to Uganda from Mombasa (over 1,000km) with no single incident. The Mombasa~Malaba drive is my quality test of a used car and Every Co has never dissapointed me. Special thanks to Mr Watabe for your patience and trustworthiness; it has made my business grow and thrive! My most recent import are two trucks a Fuso Fighter and Isuzu Forward. Soon smiling all the way to the bank!

I bought TOYOTA HIACE VAN / KDH205 Highroof from Every co ltd Japan.
I picked from the port Vancouver, Canada, and drove to my home with my son camping along the way.
We cruised at 130km/hr and got 27mpg!!, it was very good running and no any issue for 17 hours running!

Hello folks... Another victim of fraud
Hello folks, my company is the latest to be scammed / fraud victims by Mr. Watabe, Every co ltd starting 06 /09/2025. We originally set up and received a Proforma for 2 x pickup trucks. 1 x ln107 and 1 x ln167 Hilux truck. We wired $24,000.00 USD. Mr Watabe did the classic bait and switch. Every co ltd. Told us both truck aren't available. This was back on 06/10/2025. Both were 3rd party sellers. I did some basic research and found one of the trucks still for sale on many sites. To double check I reserved the truck available on the Beforward web site and checked it's availability. It's was and to this day very available for sale. Ref Hilux ln167 0015787 1999 DX 4wd 1999 double cab. We have done our due diligence with Ever co ldt to negotiate but they only offer low rated vehicles for the same price. We have since asked for a refund. 60 plus days have passed. I have heard every excuse you can imagine from issues with the bank to "on business trip" . My company has begun legal proceeding. We expect this will take a while but we have no choice. My insurance company is assisting. I promise once we are through this I will share what was done and the outcome of our legal journey.

We are a small company and ordered tractor from this man, we paid over 3,000 USD and for over four months now we have not received either a tractor or our money back.
