I was helped by Michael Starnes and his product knowledge and ability to help me with what I needed made the whole experience great. Would highly recommend Michael to anyone looking to enhance their gaming experience.

I've used Evetech for multiple RMAs over the past two years. First RMA: SSD replaced, no questions asked, excellent service. Second RMA: intermittent faulty RAM, took two follow-ups and two weeks before they'd replace it. This most recent repair has undone all of that goodwill entirely.

Timeline (from their own emails):
- 23 July - 4 August: Initial contact period. In my 4th email that same day (23 July), I gave them the exact diagnosis: a likely faulty CPU. Charged R708 for shipping & diagnostics.
- 28-29 July: Courier picked up and delivered the PC to them.
- 5 August: A full week after receiving it, they finally looked at it.
- 12 August: Diagnosis: faulty CPU. The exact fault I'd already told them on 23 July, 20 days earlier.
- 14 August: Replacement CPU received.
- 15 August: Final report, repair confirmed complete.
- 17 August: I was emailed asking for a review before receiving the unit back. I left 5 stars based on past experience. Hours later, I got notice the item had shipped.
- 18 August: Courier confirms delivery, to a name I've never heard of, at an address 2km away, in a different suburb, on a road with a different name to mine. I contacted the courier directly: they confirmed they delivered exactly to the address provided by Evetech. This was not a courier error, Evetech gave them the wrong address.

To make this worse: over my last three RMAs, I've updated my contact details with them three separate times, including on their own website profile. They still handed the courier an outdated phone number I haven't used in over a year and a half, meaning the stranger who received my PC had no way to contact me even if they'd wanted to.

I had to track down the recipient myself: a business in an industrial area with zero obligation to let me on their property or hand over a system that wasn't theirs. I got lucky. I spent over an hour in genuine panic, plus ~R200 in transport, airtime and data, recovering my own R30,000 PC from a complete stranger, entirely because Evetech entered the wrong address and outdated contact details on my shipment.

When I finally got it back: PSU still full of dust (basic practice to blow out during any repair), a SATA cable not even seated, and a boot configuration left broken enough to cause kernel panics on startup, which took me hours to diagnose and fix myself.

Their response throughout: "I do apologize," repeated on every call. No refund offered for the R200 I was out of pocket because of their mistake, despite nearly losing the system entirely.

A repair that should have been a CPU swap and confirmation took three weeks, and ended with my computer being handed to a stranger due to their own address and contact-detail errors, repeated despite three separate corrections on my end.

I cannot in good faith recommend this store anymore under any circumstances.

Faulty product was returned and credit was provided in a speedy and timely manner.

Let first begin by saying, Evetech is the holy grail of anything gaming in South africa, i have about 5 orders and planning on ordering again before year end. All my products have been delivered to me without damage or anything that makes me doubt them. Also, i have once visited their HQ and damn, the child in me was so happy to see so much tech. Let alone that is tech I've only seen on YouTube videos. And their reception is so good, keep up the good work good people.

I have been buying from evetech since 2019, I have received service beyond any platform or business offers from day 1, my first order was during their black Friday sales and it so happened I was travelling within a week to visit some family and one of the things that I ordered was a gift for my little sister, they went above and beyond after contacted them and even though the delivery was initially to be done to Port Alfred in 10 days i requested that they expedite it PE and I will collect from there and they made it happen in 2 working days. Ever since this purchase i have prolly had atleast 3-4 purchases every year from them ( including pre builds, laptops, upgrade kits, components) and in every order i have had the fastest and most quality service Ive ever received from any company. Even their RMA experience was so smooth they not only returned a faulty over heating laptop but went above and beyond to provide me a new one on a discounted price to make up for it!
