Absolutely fantastic service from the whole team at evision! Della was quick to respond, and provided me with a quote for a Kia Niro. I came down to collect the vehicle and the hand over was very in depth and the team were knowledgable!
I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to hire an electric vehicle!

The car was great, clean and communication was very good. We had no problem finding superchargers and the return was easy. Only suggestion is to provide the telephone numbers for the individuals that are dropping off the vehicle so customers can communicate directly with them… it all worked out ok but this would have beeen easier since we came in on a weekend.

Rented an i3 for 2-days and had a good rental experience.
The vehicle was great: clean(*), well maintained and good condition - it served me really well and the range was what I needed.
Some oddities compared to other car hires: the car does *not* come with a base insurance as you might get with Avis, Europcar, etc. - you either pay for eVision's insurance (£30/day!) or somehow you bring your own insurance (not just the "car hire excess" insurance - a fully comprehensive insurance) which given most domestic policies exclude hire cars, is very difficult to find. Hence, the total hire price is ~33% higher than the car hire amount. Their insurance also has a £2000 excess so you have to pay that up front as well and they refund it after.
Also to be added to the cost is the taxi to get you to and from Diggerland Durham as their location is a bit out of town.
The people I dealt with when booking were friendly, helpful and professional so would happily book with them again.
(*) The only thing that wasn't super clean was the inside of the windscreen - but in my experience this is a common issue when hiring a car.

I went down to Kent to collect the car, and it was an amazing experience. The team was very thorough and went above and beyond their normal duties for me helping me understand all the features of the car. The car was in very good condition and drove very well. It was actually such a pleasure to get a product and service that were extraordinary to what you normally get when you rent a car. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent electric cars in the UK 🇬🇧

Brilliant! I wanted to hire a Tesla Model 3 LR as a surprise for my husband (he's hoping to buy one!) as we were going on a mini-break and a wedding and wanted to take advantage of the Tesla Supercharger network and have a good range
I couldn't have asked for more from EVision. Della was my contact and was great at responding to my questions almost immediately. Everything was clearly explained and arranged without any issues
The car was delivered as arranged - the guy who delivered was friendly, although admitted he hadn't driven a Tesla before!
We had a fabulous week - covered about 1000 trouble free miles, found superchargers all worked swimmingly
Would definitely recommend and will use EVision again if we haven't bought a Tesla before we go on our next journey (we have a Zoe but the range and charging means it would take longer to travel any significant distance even with a rapid charge!)

Rented a Kia Soul, drove 1000 miles in 2 weeks never used a commercial charger only regular plug giving me about 100 mile charge overnight (10-12 hours).
Needed a rental while in the UK. Wanted to give my money to a company invested in E.V's.
The Kia EV6 had not come from Kia as scheduled so I had to choose something else, like a kid in a candy store I changed my mind twice. First the I Pace then the Soul.
Even after 2 walkthroughs and payment at 5pm on a Friday night the EVision staff were knowable, helpful and very patient.
A little goofy outside, the Soul was an excellent EV inside fast & comfortable and 1/2 the price of I Pace, EV6 or Tesla.
Deposit show up 2 week later as promised.
Note : rush hour traffic around Medway dept is very very slow, plan accordingly.

I needed to hire a car for a few longer journeys and wanted to try going electric for a change. Couldn’t have picked a better company to walk me through it. Firstly with great advice and deals to help pick the right vehicle for distance and budget, then with delivery, collection and great after-hire service. There’s a learning curve when it cones to charging but the EVision team helped me to get the right apps etc ahead of time and it made the whole experience really easy. Slightly cheaper than hiring a petrol car and much cheaper than fuelling one. I am a convert to electric and will definitely hire from EVision again if I need a car.

Very good communication from Christian in the run up to the booking. And great pick up service provided by Kate. A good experience overall. Great to see a good option for electric vehicle rentals.

Rented a BMW I3 for the day as i couldn't get any diesel and had the best service from the EVision guys. very friendly and helpful will be back :-)

Rented a Tesla Model X for 4 days as I was considering buying a second hand example and wanted to experience living with one prior to committing to purchase (especially the doors). Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Great customer service; very friendly and professional. Collection and, particularly, drop off was easy and fuss free. Would definitely rent from EVision again.

Had an amazing experience with EVision. I rented the Porsche Taycan as it was my sons 10th birthday and that's his favourite car. The car was absolutely amazing but so was the customer service. The booking process was so straight forward. When I went to pick up the car, the customer service team were helpful, friendly and lovely. The whole experience was brilliant, thank you guys. Great car, great team.

Thoroughly enjoyed driving the Model 3 in Europe. Great car, and great customer service. Collection and drop off was smooth and fuss free. Will definitely rent from you again.

Recently hired a Porsche Taycan for a business trip. Im really pleased my searching led me to Evision Electric Vehicle Hire because they have a great range of makes and vehicles to choose from.
The hire process was easy and when collecting the car the staff were very knowledgeable about the car.
If your looking for an EV to hire give them a call, I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed.

Great hire of Tesla

I organised this weekend hire on behalf of my company for a competition winner. The process was very smooth and professional, thank you.

From the driver:

"There was a bit of confusion as there wasn’t a 3 pin plug connection so we were not going to be able to charge the car over night. But they managed to find one on another car and sort it that way!

And other than that everything was pretty much fine! Could have done with some instructions on how to actually charge the car as we went to the super chargers in Purdy Lodge (Northumberland) but we didn’t know how to charge it… so we just returned home and hoped for the best!

The children loved the whoopie cushion and the disco music mode… as well as the doors of course!"

We hired a Renault Zoe for 2 days to try out a Renault car before buying Renault electric car. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Despite being temporarily on his own, the person took infinate care in explaining how the car worked and giving us useful tips and explainations. It gave us great confidence in driving away the car. The car was well cared for.

Excellent service. I ordered a Tesla Model 3 Long Range on a 2 day hire. Unfortunately the car I was supposed to have had a fault but they upgraded me to a Tesla Model 3 Performance at no extra cost.

Pickup was straight forward. I was handed the key card, signed to agree with existing damage (stone chips and some wheel scuffs, nothing major) and shown some pertinent points about the car.

Included mileage seemed quite low at 150 miles per day but given EVision are covering the cost of Supercharging, this seemed more than fair. I paid less in excess mileage charges than I would have paid in Supercharging costs.

Returning the vehicle was just as easy. A quick inspection that there was no additional damage and handing the key card back.

Ever single time I had ever rented any vehicle from anywhere else there has always been paperwork to complete at pickup that could and should have been done as part of the reservation process. Some firms are obvious worse than others in this regard, but EVision were a complete exception.

I did find the website slightly clunky and it appeared that it thought I wanted to vehicle delivered when I wanted to pick it up, so I ended up phoning them. Very helpful chap sorted everything out and sent me an email with documents required, I sent him back scanned copies of them. Having to send the money, including deposit by bank transfer did seem/feel a little weird, but it was absolutely fine and the deposit was returned well within the promised time frame, so really was not a problem.

On the day I turned up, my driving licence was checked to see I was actually the person who had rented the vehicle, we inspected the vehicle for any pre-existing damage (there was some slight wheel scuffs), I was given some brief instruction (it was a Tesla, so even opening the door is different to a normal car) and off I went. It was by far the best and simplest pick-up process I have ever experienced. Returning the vehicle was also very easy.

The vehicle itself was very clean inside, it was also a Tesla Model 3 so was a wee bit awesome.

I am renting an i3 from them for over a year and a half, and in October they gave me a newer car but this one has issues. They are claiming I broke it, took it to BMW as the battery wasn't charging at all over night and I was forced to pay for everything even though there was no fault apparently with the car. BMW just did the checks and company doesn't ever want to pay for anything. So be careful when you rent from them, don't expect them to pay for anything in case it breaks as they won't, even though contract says otherwise. Very disappointed that after being a client for so long and I still need to pay for any issues even though it wasn't my fault.
