One of the bags of render was delivered split and part of the contents had spilt out. Photo emailed to customer services and phone call from Amber in the Bradford office and a replacement was sent out the next day. Excellent customer service.

Our delivery was damaged more than once by the third party courier which was very disappointing but the EWI store customer service was brilliant. Sushmita especially, she was professional, prompt and friendly, she arranged for replacements to be sent out next day. Our experience with the delivery was not great. We did not get the product we wanted as each delivery was damaged and unusable but I could not fault EWI store as we were given a full refund. In the past we have not had any issues and I would buy from EWI again.

I have ordered a few products from EWI store and they have always been prompt and professional. When one of the items was missing, they couriered out a replacement next day without any fuss. I only wish the couriers (or whoever hands over to them) would look after the boxes a bit more as some of the things turn up looking worse for wear, even if they aren't damaged.

I would highly recommend EWI pro Bradford store, our lads from MJK developments have done there EWI training at their facility, lead by Paul H who makes training, fun and light hearted while dropping knowledge to help us get a better understanding of all the systems and products. we had a brilliant day with a bunch of great lads, big thanks to Tyler cooper who’s helped me, someone who hasn’t done much EWI before, they have given us written specs for are jobs under tender and kept tabs on us making sure we are following the correct formula to get jobs spot on, an set us up on really good prices for are future trading with one another can’t praise this company enough for training and it’s quality materials that also spray lovely through the RITMO and silicon top coat machines cheers EWI pro and thanks

Aside that all materials are of very high quality and next day delivery ,what makes this render supplier company different than other companies is their customer service (Mariusz) who was the most helpful at any times ,including on his day off,

I had a very poor experience with a faulty product. I bought some spiral anchors (essentially, a wall plug for to allow drainpipes, alarm boxes etc to be attached to an insulated wall) from EWI store online. 23 pounds incl delivery for 2 packs of 10. It was a Polish brand called Klimas which I chose as a cheaper alternative to Fischer plugs which I've used successfully before.

The plug didn't work. Whilst it screwed easily & securely into (a test piece of) insulation material, it wouldn't cut through the rendered surface (rendering done only 4 weeks previously, render material also supplied by EWI store). Using a 5mm hexagon headed bit, the bit began to spin within the plastic anchor when I applied the torque necessary to cut through the render (a bit like an inferior quality wood screw might fail if the Philips head can't take the torque of an electric screwdriver). I was confident in my technique as I've used Fischer spiral anchors in my EWI surface previously.

I telephoned the Technical team at EWI store. They advised me to use a manual screwdriver instead of an electric one. I tried this, including with a different anchor from the pack, but had the same result - when I tried to break through the render, even with a pilot hole, the hex bit simply rotated within the plastic anchor which clearly didn't have a sufficiently strong internal structure.

I called the Technical team straight back. The same colleague told me that he'd ask a more experienced technician to call me & give advice. Hours and days passed - no call.

So I called one of EWI's stores, hoping for advice from one of the sales staff. We eventually discussed returning the product and I was told that I should bring them to the store. I was unable to do this as I don't live near an EWI store so asked whether I could return them by post, as I'd bought them online. After checking with his manager, the store colleague (who was very pleasant) told me that I could send them back to the EWI store at Aylesbury but that (i) there'd be a deduction for a 'restocking' fee; and (ii) they wouldn't be accepted in any case if the pack had been opened as they wouldn't then be resaleable.

I'll say that again..... they wouldn't be eligible for return if the pack had been opened - which, clearly, it needed to be, in order to establish that the product didn't work as it should.

So, I'm stuck with 2 packs of Klimas spiral anchors that aren't fit for purpose and am 23 pounds out of pocket. And I'm pretty sure that EWI store aren't complying with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 which seeks to protect consumers by requiring retailers to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for any purpose made known by the seller and as described. Or to make amends.

To complete my project, I bought a pack of Fischer spiral anchors from elsewhere which, of course, worked right first time.

If you're looking for a specialist store with a wide range of EWI products, I'm sure EWI store fits the bill. If you need an after sales service, look elsewhere.

UPDATE: Had a pleasant call 4 days later from Sushmita in EWI customer service team who apologised for the poor service and offered a full refund plus courier collection of items from my home. Thank you for good response.

I ordered a bunch of stuff for EWI from the website.
The website has the option for Material Calculator which is amazing tool. Got 12.5 % discount for my first order! They have unbeatable prices in my opinion. I done a lot of research before placing the order and I couldn't find something cheaper than what they offer.
After I place my order I got a phone call from Louise Sinfield which confirmed with the the hole order and also help me to find a replacement for one of the goods that they didn't had available at that moment. Took them 2 days to deliver the goods.
The driver was nice enough to help us placing the goods in our shelter.

We are very happy with the hole process , starting with the website( which has plenty of info if you wanna DIY) , customer service, driver delivering the goods.

I will be coming back with a review after doing the job on my house regarding the quality of material.

EWI Store is a company that supplies great quality render products that I use on a regular basis. My rep (Matthew Hall) and technical guru (Paul Christmas) are a fantastic part of the EWI Store team. They are quick to answer any issues I may have and are a great tool when customers need information I cannot give. The aftercare with EWI Store products is what I would say sets them apart from other suppliers and I couldn’t speak more highly of them.
