Avoid! Sells or leaks my full data to India. Got scammed because they had all my details of where I was staying in Paris, my name, date of booking and my phone number etc. call centre in Philippines can’t give a damn.

I booked a connection on expedia from Marrakech, Morocco to Zurich, Switzerland. There was a connecting flight in London. I landed in LGW, and 3 hours before my expected flight I tried to check in, and the flight attendant explained that my flight was from LHR to zurich. A different airport >1 hour away. I spent 125 pounds on a taxi to get to heathrow and when I arrived and contacted expedia through their app, I was told that it was my fault and the details were clearly visible when booking (they were not). How you can advertise a connecting flight without major warning or disclosure that the passenger will have to transfer airports during the layover is beyond me. A “connecting flight” that isn’t actually connected at the same airport doesn’t sound like a connection to me. Would absolutely choose a different site to book with in the future.
TERRIBLE Customer Service
The company is incredibly rigid and has extremely poor customer service. Between having to be on a call for a total of 5 hours to get a flight changed for unforeseen circumstances and having my card charged but my flight has not been rebooked I would strongly recommend not booking with expedia.

Booked via Expedia and had a refund from British Airways released on 14 March.
Expedia then:
- Told me multiple times the airline hadn’t processed it (not true)
- Held the funds for over 5 weeks
- Only issued the refund after I chased
Offered £75 in credit as “final resolution” despite the delay and misinformation.
Pretty poor handling and communication throughout.
Error booking
Similar issues as everyone has been experiencing with Expedia recently. Error message when booking resulted in me booking multiple times. Credit cards charged several times for flights individually but no hotel. Customer service zero help and most are busy dishing out generic answers such as “might be updating prices, try again tomorrow” rather than fixing the issue. I have been a long term customer of Expedia and I am afraid they just ended our relationship. Never again

Got redirected to Expedia by Skyscanner to book flights from 2 different operators.
Expedia then charged my card for 2 of the same flight (the return) and not the outbound!!!
Taking £205 from my card. With no confirmation or correspondence what so ever
It was impossible to get through on telephone and sent me round in circles requesting trip number details which hadn’t been sent!
I then spoke to an operator who had several of my emails on the system but no record or this booking. He asked to see a screen shot of the debit on my account but there was no function to add documents. The whole set up is a shambles and I’m now having to contact my card provider to try to cancel the transactions. Complete fraud
Appalling customer service - never use them!
A few weeks ago I had a bad experience staying at the Ramada Hotel in Bristol and the hotel agreed to refund me 50% of the cost that I had paid. It turns out I had paid Expedia , not Ramada and it was a complete nightmare getting Expedia to do the refund. I had umpteen emails before I finally emailed their CEO and that prompted the refund to be finally processed. I will never, as long as I live, ever knowingly book anything through Expedia again, an absolute nightmare organisation to deal with.

Very poor treatment
I booked a hotel stay a few months ago for christmas with my dogs. I was supposed to receive a booking confirmation but despite many requests by email and phone. I never received one. Since then I have had a change in health status so needed to cancel the booking. I contacted expedia by email, phone and live chat in order to try and cancel the booking. They requested the itinerary/booking number which I did not have due to them not sending me the confirmation email which had been repeatedly requested. I gave them all of the other information requested, name, email, telephone, address but they insisted they could not process a cancellation as could not confirm I had booked with them without the confirmation or itinerary numbers. I contacted the hotel direct who confirmed the booking was made with expedia so they could not cancel the reservation and gave me the itinerary number that expedia had sent to them. Expedia was contacted again and given this information and insisted they had no record of the booking. Therefore I have just had to tell the hotel that I will not be attending even though I cannot cancel the reservation. I am totally disgusted at the horrendous customer service provided by expedia and the lack of understanding and compassion. If they had sent a booking confirmation as they should have done none of this would have happened. I have lost the money I paud for the hotel due to this terrible company. I would never recommend this company to anyone as they obviously do not care about their customers and do not fulfil their obligations such as sending confirmations.

We thought we booked direct with the hotel at a cost of£80. Without any warning they took £150 from our bank account . Strikes me as theft . Small claim action for recovery to follow !

I would love to give them Zero rate.It's really frustating.I cancelled the flight last March 13,2026 but until now no refund.I've been calling them every after 3 days to follow up but they keep on telling me to call back after 72hrs.👎👎👎👎
Very bad company
Very bad company. There are no phone numbers to contact them. I booked a 3‑day vacation but couldn’t attend because my spouse was sick. I informed them of the situation and asked for a date change or a refund. They gave me hope but did nothing. The hotel later called me to say I never checked in and wanted to know if I was okay. Expedia told me they tried to contact the hotel manager, but the hotel receptionist said they never heard from Expedia. Later, Expedia claimed the hotel said I had checked in, which I never did. After I emailed Expedia again, they stopped responding till now.
I will never recommend this platform.

Don’t fall into their so call discount or discount code! Basically is the same price as you can find on Google without discount or discount code. So you don’t have to use Expedia in particular…. And the customer service did answer your questions but not actually solve the problem. So take it or not is your clever choice

Same as all the other recent customers- booked holiday and payment got declined on Expedia app only to discover Easyjet have taken payment! So flights booked but no accomodation even though we thought we were getting a good offer booking the package.
Tried contacting Expedia several times and they keep saying the same thing- there is no booking, eventually they find transaction and lie and tell me Easyjet has also been refunded but a week later we have not had a penny back! The customer service is awful, its like your talking to a bunch of little school kids spelling everything out for them- so time consuming and so frustrating! We went with Lastminute.com to book the same holiday and they were honestly so straightforward, wish we’d tried them from the start!
Now to try and get this refund- dont know what to do, I just know we’re not using Expedia again! Please avoid at all costs!

Repeated attempts to book a weekend away. Multiple failed payments causing me to max out my credit card then having to wait until pending payments cleared. Tried different browser and even flights with their recommendation. Two credit cards find no fault on my account. Split payments to airline causing an issue. Seem to have booked flights with Easyjet but Expedia have no record (split payment took money for flights but not hotel but whole transaction failed). I think they'd make more money by actually tracking their live issues.
Awful Service
I will never book with Expedia again. Due to the ongoing crisis in the Middle East my flights were cancelled at the beginning of March and after several calls I have still not received a refund for this flight. Trying to actually speak to someone is a task in itself. Awful company - avoid at a cost.

oh gosh let me add to this long list of complaints booked a hotel and flight for disneyland paris but the flight went through but not the hotel then you guessed it i am left with flights for a holiday but no hotel. If i book seperately I dont get the package deal so not worth taking the gamble of trying to get it a bit cheaper as i have truely failed. Talking to them is like talking to a brick wall, all kept saying the flight money would not be taken but it already had been and received the confirmation that the flights were booked. Anyone i spoke to couldn't even take my name without getting it wrong and certainly wasnt capable of getting my plane reservation correct, dispite me saying it a number of times and as slow as a snail, lots of silences and they really dont give a crap have always used them for my holidays won't be anymore.....
