One positive, the prescription was correct, and I can see very well with the new glasses. Now let's get to ALL the negatives:
1. It took FOREVER to get my glasses, which I ordered exactly a month ago.
2. The only way to find out anything is to call the store in CT.
3. They never communicated that the frames I picked out were not suitable until I called!
4. Specifically stated I wanted RED, not maroon, glasses, which are indeed maroon! Ugh!
5. The fit is poor; hopefully, a local optical store can make them fit correctly.
6. You get what you pay for. If the local eyeglass shops weren't so greedy, we wouldn't need to purchase an important item online. Glasses should never be bought online when there are too many important factors that need attention.

Rip off...no glasses came. Many emails, a month of nothing. DO NOT BUY FROM EYEGLASSES.COM YOU WILL BE DOING A CHARGEBACK....SO FRUSTRATING

I am completely dissatisfied with my recent experience ordering frames from Eyeglasses.com, placed over a month ago even when paying extra for UPS 2nd Day Air shipping.

Throughout this process, I have encountered unprofessional service and conflicting information. After waiting several weeks, I was informed that the items had shipped; however, no tracking number was provided. Upon calling to follow up, I was told that the frames were never in stock and that a refund had been issued. I received no prior notification of this cancellation via phone or email.

I believe this company is falsely advertising its product and selling counterfeit items. Buyers be aware.

I canceled my order and never received a refund despite my multiple attempts to contact the company.

Do yourself a favor and buy from elsewhere.

I found a coupon code to use on my purchase. This code wasn't expired and didn't have any specific restrictions. I would have saved over $40, but when I checked out, the final balance did not reflect the discount. I emailed someone named Stefanie Rodriguez in "customer service" who replied by asking me to forward the coupon code to her. I heard nothing back. I finally reached a real human at the "customer service" number named Diana who seemed sympathetic to my problem, said she knew who I emailed and would credit the difference to my account immediately. Talk is cheap and so was this response as the credit never appeared on my statement. I received the frame ordered but will NEVER again order from Eyeglasses.com nor should you. Tell your friends.

It has been weeks for a simple set of frames without lenses. I have had no communication from the company. This is a fraudulent website and they will steal your money.

Ordered frames and they arrived exactly as described in the ad. The shipping was a bit on the longer side but comparable to other suppliers who ship items cross boarder. Many frames to choose from on the web site.

The replacement lenses have been great. Only hiccup: a little confusion over sending the glasses for updating that was resolved quickly.

Frames arrived quickly and great! Just as pictured. My son was happy as we were having trouble finding the exact model he wanted in person. This was a great experience for us.

The shape of the lenses was not right with the image being very light. They agreed to replace and explained the differences. I suggested that the clarification to the images would be helpful. Nice people

I was able to purchase the same frames I usually get that for my clip sunglasses. I bought the lenses at a local eye doctor, as I found my previous set I bought here scratched very easily.

The color of the frames had ro be ordered so I changed colors and had then within the week. They were just what I expected. Perfect !

I waited weeks for my frames to arrive, and when they finally did, the lenses were wrong. I ordered transitional lenses and received single‑vision instead. When I contacted customer service, I was told I’d have to pay return shipping—even though the mistake was on their end. Really disappointing experience.

Nothing unexpected, I shipped my glasses to them and they arrived back in the expected time frame. I did call them to verify they had received my glasses and they answered promptly.

Avoid buying glasses from this company unless you want to wait months and make many many phone calls before they arrive.

I ordered my glasses in October 2025. I finally received right around New Years 2026. I had to make many phone calls and send emails in order to get them.

Every time I called I was told they would ship the next day and that I would receive a tracking number. That never happened. My final call before attempting to cancel was the day after Christmas. That day I spoke the to the rudest customer service MANAGER I have ever encountered.

I was never rude any time I called even though I really needed the glasses. I was kind and patient. This manager was rude and acted like I should just trust them that I'd get the glasses and that she gets treated rudely as a customer service rep. She said to me that she speaks english and she is still treated rudely. WHAT IN THE WORLD????

I will NEVER use this company again. Avoid if you want your glasses any time soon, want straight forward answers, and nice customer service managers when you have been patiently making calls and waiting.

They never even reached out after my final request to cancel and report the manager. Terrible company.

PS that manager told me it takes weeks to get the frames I ordered and that is why it took so long. I went to another online company and ordered the same frames. I did that a week ago and they are out for delivery right now. So lie after lie after lie from them.

Sent a pair of oakley evade frames to have new lenses put on Dec.4 after a month of waiting I called to find out that the nose piece of the frame had broken. At first I was offered a new frame of choosing at 50% off, when I inquired about that, that deal was off the table and they would “frankenstien” my oakleys. Nothing else needed to be said, I asked for a refund, lets see how long that takes. $928 in lenses, $149 in frame a d 1-month lost in time. Please shop somewhere else

The ease of ordering glasses with agent who helped with glasses that were on back order.

Wow, I am surprised to see so many bad reviews for Eyeglasses.com! They have fantastic frames at fair prices! Because I like to purchase custom colored prescription lens, I usually just buy a frame from them each year. My local eye doctor then makes the lens. I do own one round pair of Dolomiti frames that I purchased high index lens with Crizal coating that I purchased through them. My clear Dolomiti glasses are 3 years old, and are still in perfect condition. The lens were replaced about 1.5 years ago, due to a scratch that I accidentally put on them. Fortunately, the warranty through paid for the new lenses. All I had to pay was shipping and handling, which I felt was fair.

Twice they have told me the order would ship in a couple of days. Now, 24 days after they accepted my order, I received an email telling me the lenses are made but the frames haven’t arrived. I tried to call them today to see what’s up, only to be told the call can’t go through.
The 2.4 rating they have at the time of this review is more than they deserve.

Everything went smoothly and had a decent tracking system for the process.
