Formula One Autocentres - Chester Reviews 

Very hard to recommend this place after my first and last visit!

I had my car booked in with F1 Autocentres on Friday for its MOT. The garage then ring to rearrange it for today as he had some urgent personal issues (fair enough).

Anyway, I go to the garage this afternoon and 20 minutes later two coppers turn up to arrest the tester!

Would avoid!

Don’t use chester branch. Phoned on the Mon for 2 tyres fitting. Booked in for Wed. Turned up told to come back in an hour and it would be done. Got back they hadn’t started as they didn’t have the tyres. Told they would call me later in the day when they were in. They didn’t. After a couple of calls and false promises they eventually admitted they couldn’t get them. Wayne then tells me he spoke to another company and they had them and I just needed to call them. He hadn’t.

Excellent car and customer care. Delivered on all fronts, quality, time scale and competitive price.
Cant speak highly enough of the new manager, Dean and his team who helped to secure a smooth experience. I would recommend this Bumpers lane, Chester outfit over and above car technicians. I will continue to use the company. Well done and Many thanks to Dean and his team.

Went in there on a Sunday afternoon with exhaust rattling thinking it probably wouldn’t get sorted same day but I was in and out within 45 mins ( part was delivered during this time aswell ) the staff was very friendly and delt with my problem efficiently and would return again if I have problems

I've used Formula One autocentres before, but this was the first time that I had visited the Chester branch. Driving to work, my car flagged up with an emission issue; they managed to fit me in that afternoon and fix my car within two hours in order for me to drive back home. I left feeling confident with my car, unlike the journey there, which felt very precarious!
Dean was the main mechanic that I dealt with- he was very friendly, professional, obtained the best deal for me and was upfront about the potential costs and the repairs needed on my car.
Would definitely recommend this garage again.

First time using them. Had been recommended by friends.

Great service from the team at Formula One Autocentres in Chester! Not only did they provide the best price around for replacement brake pads, the phone contact I had beforehand was excellent and the job was completed perfectly on the day. I used to work in the motor trade and have vast experience of taking cars to garages for repairs. I find that you quite quickly get a feeling for how good a garage is from some fairly basic contact with them, and in that regard my impression of this garage is one that genuinely cares about its customers and wants to do a thorough, quality job with whatever work you entrust to them. These are good people, I highly recommend them!

Phoned formula one for MOT they got me in the same day .This is the only garage I've left a review for as from start to finish the manager Dean was dealing with me kept me updated how my car was getting on .Dean's communication with me and other customers was brilliant through out the time i was there he knew his customers and the problems with there cars which was reasuring .Fantastic all round with all the staff and there work .And I managed to get to work on time due to there hard work .Will be using this garage in the future if they had more stars I would have given more

I arrived on a wet Sunday with a toddler in tow and a nail in one of my tyres. The guys were very friendly and in under 20 minutes the tyre was repaired. They even parked the car just inside the service centre, so I could load the toddler back in without getting wet. Would definitely use again!

Can't recommend this garage highly enough. I found it on the off chance but was so impressed have since returned and will continue to do so. Dean, the manager keeps you informed, is extremely helpful and the work carried out is to a very high standard.

Booked an intrim service on-line, which was easy and straightforward, received a confirmation email. Took car in and was told I'd receive notification when it was ready. Service all done and a phone call told me it was ready. Very prompt and efficient service, recommended and will use again.

Booked and paid for a new rear tyre to be fitted, arrived 15 mins before booked slot told to sit in room to wait , then the manager came in to ask when I booked it as they never had the tyre:- I told him it was the day before and I had a confirmation email, I was told they couldn’t get one for another 2.5 hours.. Not Good Service at all, someone could have contacted me earlier to save a 80 mile round trip for nothing , I have given this branch so many chances to improve there service and it fails every time so I will have to give up every using this company again !

Update :- just received a reply and they ask for me to contact customer services :- however if they check I contacted them yesterday and they said they would pass on my details to the regional manager and they didn’t bother to get get back to me .. Shame on them ! Zero Customer Service !!

We were very pleased with the work on our car with new brakes pads, discs plus four tyres and other work. Good job thanks.

Dean from Chester branch was brilliant he had a look at me car told me the problem offered a solution. Sorted out the order of parts and kept me informed of how long it would take til my car was fixed. Great Customer experience highly recommend these guys.
