Item returned, no refund given
Wrong size delivered. As they don't do exchanges I was offered a partial refund, I requested a full refund so was told to send back the parcel which I did on 4th June via the label sent from the store. DPD confirmed parcel delivery on 9th June, signed for by a worker and no refund issued almost a month later.

Sizing Didn’t Fit, Return Cost Me £11.79
The shorts themselves actually felt decent quality and I probably would have kept them if the sizing had been right.
My issue is with the returns experience. I paid £49.49 for my order and, after returning the item, received £37.70 back. FADED STORE deducts both the original delivery fee (£6.99) and a return shipping fee (£4.80), leaving me £11.79 out of pocket despite no longer having the product.
To be fair, the refund was processed in line with their stated returns policy, but it still means losing 23.8% of the total order value just for trying on an item that didn’t fit.
If you’re confident about your size, you may have no issues. But if you’re buying to try for size, I’d recommend looking for a more established retailer with a friendlier returns process, as that’s ultimately what I ended up doing.
Just something worth knowing before you place an order.

Feels like they’ve turned into a scam company
Can’t honestly remember how many orders I’ve placed with this company as I’ve made numerous orders over the years but the recent experience I’ve received means I won’t be returning back to them to place any more.
Ordered a very small order and delivery was expected on a date when I knew I wouldn’t be at home. So when I returned there was a picture showing that the courier left the delivery outside which meant it’s either been stolen as I live on a main road and it was left in an open porch area so anyone walking past could’ve saw it or the courier has knocked on my door and taken the picture as well as marking it as delivered before realising I’m not at home and taken it back to the depot with them. I got in touch with the company who advised they would need the courier to investigate which would take up to 28 days for some reason as when I’ve questioned this in the past we’ve either these or any other company it’s never happened after they can see what happened with the delivery and I just get a full refund. It’s now been well over that (more than six weeks) and I keep asking for an update but all that happens is now I’m getting no reply to probably more than 10 emails so I’m basically being ignored so they haven’t got to provide me with a full refund!
