Only been a day since installation of 7 windows but confident no issues with it, Used fairview over the past 25 years and a single issue has never arisen, Mike and Aidan were a top team in approach, quality of finishing, clean and tidy and very pleasant to have in our home. Fairview Windows customer service is appalling.
Fairview Windows customer service is appalling. Charged for deposit, carried out survey but not completed work and won’t refund deposit. ‘Found’ asbestos but can’t prove where and won’t carry out work despite having a second independent survey completed that proved there was no asbestos. Have been trying for months to get to the bottom of it but keep being passed from pillar to post by staff on calls, always being told I will get a call back that never happens. This has been going on for 6 months and still not resolved. Left big hole where sample was taken from for testing and will now have to pay extra to fix. Would never recommend using fairview windows.
In response to the below reply from Fairview Windows: firstly you have seen the full report done independently by ourselves as it was via email to your installation team. Secondly, it’s funny how this is the first time in six months via trust pilot that I have been told what our deposit has been used for and that I won’t be receiving a refund, previously I have been met with “we will look into this for you” remarks only.
Yesterday was also the first time in 6 months that I have received photos of where the sample was taken from and that was only provided to me because the installer himself came to my house a week ago to take the photo. This falls outside of industry standards as a photo should have been taken when the sample was taken originally.
I find it remarkable that you claim that you have communicated to your best, because if that is your best it is the worst form of communication I have ever experienced, particular when I received a call from a Fairview installer swearing down the phone to me via his mobile phone conveniently so not to record it, for leaving this very review.
Thank you for your response and finally resolving this matter, as mentioned previously I would never recommend using Fairview Windows.

We are very sorry to read your comments and understand your frustration. However, we would like to clarify the situation from our side.
Following the initial survey, two independent asbestos tests were carried out by a specialist company we have worked with and trusted for over 20 years. Both tests confirmed the presence of asbestos in your soffit area. For health and safety reasons, we could not proceed with the installation until this was addressed properly, in line with strict industry regulations designed to protect both our team and customers.
We are aware that you arranged your own test, which came back with different findings. We have not seen this report in full and would welcome the opportunity to speak directly with the company who carried it out. In our experience, ignoring asbestos or failing to detect it correctly can pose serious risks, and we are committed to doing things the right way — even when it causes delays or complications.
Regarding the deposit, this was used to cover the cost of the survey, product orders, and the asbestos testing — all of which have been carried out. In fact, we have absorbed additional costs in trying to find a solution and have done our best to communicate with you throughout. We appreciate this situation has taken longer than expected, but we’ve genuinely tried to resolve it through the proper channels, not avoid it.
It is disappointing to read your review here when we’ve acted responsibly and in line with regulations every step of the way. We remain open to discussing your test results further and are happy to speak directly with your asbestos surveyor to ensure clarity for all involved.

I had a great experience start to finish with sales, surveyor and the installer who were all very professional. I’m really happy with my new front door, it has transformed my home in terms of aesthetics and warmth. Aftercare was also great and I’ve been provided with warranty documents. I wouldn’t use anyone else in the future!

Can recommend Fairview windows without any reservations. There are companies out there that are disorganised, poor and in some cases bordering on criminal (experience talking) so it has helped us to read reviews to help guide us. Hope this one helps you.
Fairview have been brilliant from start to finish. Professional, courteous and extremely reliable from the ladies in the office (v easy to contact by phone) to the customers -facers: Steve Pilkington was really outstanding as our initial contact. Several visits and he really went the extra mile to try to make sure he understood our requirements, taking all our concerns very seriously. Nothing was too much trouble and he asked the team to source certain colours and made sure the smallest detail was perfect. The surveyor was great - so helpful. Neil and the lads who did the installation were outstanding. Lovely guys who did a great job, no mess, on time, polite and clear communication about time scales. The windows have increased warmth and decreased noise significantly and look great. 2nd time we have used this company and my Mum has too. Thank you Fairview.

Good people to have in your home.
Would like to thank Martin for explaining all aspects and showing me what is available nothing was to much trouble. I had a great team of two men, lots of dust sheets everywhere and they had the job done in two days. I had windows, porch and doors fitted and they look great, am so happy, would recommend Fairview to anyone Good price, good product, good company. I paid at the end when I was happy with everything.

Fairview first class from start to finish!
Fairview were contacted to initially replace all windows on the front and side elevation of my property and also the front door. From the initial discussion at their Widnes showrooms with Chris O’Neill through to fitting and commissioning we had a very positive experience. Chris advised on his company’s new products and constructively advised on options. There was no pressure or unease in this helpful process.
Following our initial discussions the job progresses to an assessment stage which resulted in a costing for the job. We were pleased to progress and a surveyor undertook a comprehensive and detailed assessment of the job to finalise the components.
We were so pleased we extended the job to include coordinated and complimentary soffits, gutters and downspouts.
The installation team were careful and considerate while working in and outside the property. Engaging and professional throughout. Really pleased with the completed job and we have had many compliments from friends and family regarding the transformation.
Can’t praise Fairview enough and from start to finish the staff remained engaging, professional and helpful throughout. Would have no hesitation in recommending Fairview to friends or family for a first class job! Well done and thank you.

Replacing all the windows and doors in our house was a big step for us but we were lucky to be given a recommendation to Fairview when we gathering quotes. Not the cheapest but absolutely excellent in all parts of the process. The administration was top notch, our fitters, Neil and Paul, were superb, and the product itself was even better than we anticipated. I don't hesitate to recommend them.

From start to finish , we have had a fantastic service from all of the team at Fairview. We were recommended by a friend originally and they came in with a fair price against other companies. We had 3 patio doors and a front door. Beautiful quality and very clean and tidy, the fitters couldn't do enough and answered all my questions. Very good, I would highly recommend.

Having a new feature window fitted in a couple of weeks by Fairview along with a replacement unit in front door and repair to opening mechanism on window.
So far a fantastic service, excellent communication from Wayne. Speedy and efficient first planning visit last week, surveyor assessment this morning and a repair completed today in the afternoon! Thank You very much Norman 👍
I’ve previously used a cheaper local company for replacement glass but experienced missed appointments and the window unit blown within 6 years out of warranty!.. Fairview has said they give 10 years which is great!
