YET AGAIN farnell failed to despatch an order required urgently. Rang and spoke to someone in eastern europe who said they could not help. GIve me one good reason to ever trust them again, every order I've had has been screwed up.

Consistently send out wrong or incomplete orders. Really poor. I'm now chasing up a 3rd incomplete order which they claim was complete. I will not use Farnell again. Strongly advise you do the same.

The worst online purchase experience as a company. slow and extremely complex workflows which frustrated me and in the end I gave up upon my order there.
They even didn't allow me to pay for my order by card :)))
No delivery, lies, slow refund
I ordered an air duster from their Hungarian site. The tracking page was "under maintenance" for several weeks and my package was not delivered, so I asked the customer service about it. My Hungarian mail was answered in English (not an issue for me, though rude). They said UPS was unable to deliver, the package is being redirected to their repo, they will contact me later. I never got any notifications from UPS... Waited another 2 weeks, wrote again, and they lied that the price I prepaid was not deducted from my account. Also they have not even mentioned that they want still deliver it or not. I had to pressure them to refund me within 5 business days, sent my bank's receipt and threatened them with bank chargeback, formal complaints towards consumer protection authorities, mass bad reviews... They paid me back after ~10 business days. F them.

Criminally bad service.
The website was broken for several days (Tue, Wed) with login and checkout buttons freezing. Asked them to give courtesy expedited shipping to meet a customer deadline. Was told explicitly "no" by customer support despite them acknowledging that their website was broken for 2+ days. But it gets worse—when I was finally able to order on Thu, I paid for expedited shipping. The item did not ship until the following Wed almost a week later. So I asked support for a refund of the shipping. They were only willing to issue a store credit. Farnell have always been pretty bad with a slow website, confusing interface, slow shipping and unusual stock management, but this experience has finally encouraged me to stop using them wherever I possibly can. Note that if you're ordering 10 or more of an item, you can usually go direct to the supplier instead. This is what I have done for several of the components I needed, and I'll continue to do this because Farnell is such an awful company to do business with.
They know how to take your money…
They know how to take your money instantly, but when it comes to return the money it takes them 2 to 4 weeks even tho it was their problem. I didnt cancel the order.
Unreliable and doesn't have the parts in stock
Promises fast delivery and says they have the parts in stock but they don't have and they don't ship in time. And then customer service is not helpful (chat tells you it is too late in the day, despite they are still open, or when it is not too late in the day, they can't answer and need to send an email to which they take days to reply). It was an urgent request with express shipping, supposed to be delivered fast, never received and hasn't been even processed days after...
Lentezza per rimborso
Fatto un ordine per un pannello assorbente RF pronto in magazzino e poi dopo 10gg saputo che la consegna era tra 2 mesi. Cancellato l'ordine ma i soldi del pannello ancora dopo un mese non li hanno restituiti inventando documenti già mandati due volte....
Misleading about parts in stock
I ordered parts 11th July because they were listed as in stock.
21st July I got an e-mail saying that the parts will come directly from a supplier which will take another 12 days.
When I asked about status, Farnell said I had unpaid invoices. (All my invoices had been paid)
I paid this order in advance 31.July
Some of the parts were sent 6th August.
I still wait for the rest. Farnell says that they will be sent 25th August
Sad storry
Sad storry. Not serious business. Allthough they seem to have a good assortment.
Ordered yesterday and today I have recieved an Email telling me that delivery can not be until week 45. Thats in November. Allmost 4 months from now.
The order was paid, but I will cancel and hope for a refund.

I have an account with Farnell
I have an account with Farnell. I went to pay my monthly account by dialing the accounts telephone number and then paying the invoice with a bank card.
This month it did not work properly. The call handler had a broken microphone, or the call went silent, or no one answered. I suspect that the call handlers are 12,000 miles away. I have tried to pay my invoice 5 times without success. I have better things to do with my time.

Mage til amatør butik skal man lede længe efter... De er så lang tid om kunde oprettelse at alle varer der var i ordre ikke længere er i varesortimentet.. Jeg er målløs..
Hvis nogen fra bolsjebutikken læser med, så slet mig endeligt fra konto listen. Jeg bruger ikke mere tid på jer.
Delusione totale su ordine urgente
Abbiamo ordinato 20 pezzi di un NTC Thermistore a €1,90 l’uno per risolvere un problema tecnico urgente. Nonostante la consegna fosse prevista in 1 giorno, dopo 2 giorni è arrivato solo 1 pezzo.
Abbiamo subito contattato l’assistenza per chiedere la spedizione immediata degli articoli mancanti, ma senza alcun esito concreto. Ci hanno semplicemente rimborsato la differenza e suggerito di rifare l’ordine.
Al momento del nuovo ordine, il prezzo era raddoppiato!
Per un’azienda che si definisce partner affidabile per i professionisti, questa gestione è inaccettabile, soprattutto in situazioni critiche dove la tempestività è fondamentale.
I bought a Multicomp multimeter…
I bought a Multicomp multimeter (Farnell product) from an internet dealer. I was uncertain of the accuracy and use of one of the parameters, so I tried to contact their customer support. They never answered. I then contacted the dealer, who also tried to contact Farnell about the same issue. He did not manage to get an answer either. Seems like customer support is non-existing. They have a lot of airy statements like "DEDICATED TEAM AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT" on their webpage. Rubbish.
CONSEGNA NON RISPETTATA
Abbiamo ordinato una morsettiera da loro in quanto garantivano la consegna il giorno seguente se l'ordine fosse stato effettuato entro le h. 18.00.
Dopo aver effettuato l'orine di gran lunga prima dell'orario sopra indicato, ci troviamo a due giorni dall'ordine senza il pezzo di ricambio...
per due giorni potrebbe non essere un problema ma, se come noi avete da svolgere lavori entro un tot. di giorni, ORDINATE DA QUALCUN ALTRO.
E' inutile scrivere consegna in 24h se ordini entro le h.18.00 se poi questo non corrisponde alla verità.
