Absolutely wonderfully easy going . Brilliant job well done price is good and showed how to use it and proved electric works

We had a towbar fitted in late April. Four days afterwards, the car failed its MOT due a non-working reverse light. We surmised (correctly) that this was due to a botched installation, but instead were met with excuse after excuse - "it's the bulb" (it wasn't) - "it's the reverse sensor" (it wasn't.) Fastfitz sent us on various goose chases to Halfords and suggested we go to the manufacturer for a warranty repair, when in reality it was their mistake all along.

Eventually and after much back and forth, FastFitz sent a different technician who fixed the fault in about five minutes, saying "it's an easy mistake to make." This was after much wasted time and having to hire a car for five days to move ourselves and our children around. We messaged the company about this, but had our e-mails ignored for two months.

We are now suing this company for the cost of the car and the money wasted on their excuses. I would strongly counsel anyone reading this review to take their car to a local, rather than mobile service - if anything goes awry (and it does) you'll have a godawful time dealing with these lot.

Edit 1/7/26: since taking legal action, we have met with a flurry of e-mails admitting liability and offering compensation on the proviso that this review was removed. The e-mails further state "another CCJ will not matter to me"; one cannot help but wonder just how many they have, and why.

Edit 2/7/26: the company has been sending repeated e-mails demanding that this review be taken down, sent abusive memes to my personal phone number and posted a reply lying about the circumstances, resorting to ad hominem attacks and the posting of my personal information online. This doesn't bother us, per se, but it should clue any reader into the character of these people.

Used Fastfitz ( northern) to install a tow bar to my Jaguar e pace.The fitter,Michael,arrived bang on time.He treat my car as if it was his own.Totally professional in everything he did.Couldnt fault his work. Michael was pleasant and affible. Would highly recommend.

I got a quote to install detachable swan neck towbar and 13pin socket on my bmw 3 series that was nearly 40% cheaper compared to local trailer fitters. The offer sounded too good to be true. Shortly after requesting quote from FastFitz i got contacted by Michael. He asked for £400 deposit for the parts, what sounded like a red flag for me, combined with the fact the whole job was quoted much cheaper then competitors. Michael was very responsive, throught the whole process. Long story short, Michael was very professional, responsive, showed up exactly on time, informed me upfront what he will be doing. After the job was done, he showed me a proof electrics are working, showed me how to attach/detach towbar, showed me all his changes to the car. I'm extremely happy with the whole experience.

I made an online enquiry and was responded to that same day, the quotation was the best I got and was for the towbar to be fitted on my driveway. The communication was excellent and when the day of the appointment arrived Matt arrived when he said he would and was very friendly and professional. The job was completed in a couple of hours and when it was finished it looked perfect. I was given a good demonstration of how the detachable towbar worked and I couldn't be happier with the result. I would highly recommend this company but note that their services are in very high demand in the summer.

Got a quote from Matt that was excellent - clearly much more expert than the several other companies I had got quotes ,from equalling the best price I had got. I was very keen to get him to do the work, but he realised I was out of his area, and offered me a fitting about 60 miles away, Too far. He apologised . He is clearly a very honest man with whom it would have been a pleasure to do business.

Matt was a friendly guy who was also very thourough and professional. He was relatively quick, but ensured that the installation was as designed as per make of car , model etc, He even helped me out post sales with a caravan matter, out of his own pocket! A genuine, decent fella who's work is top notch, and value for money. If you employ him, you'll wanna endorse him 👍

Great booking experience, after some delays on my end they even offered a price reduction to be closer to my initial quote.

Fitting was timely and went well without any issues.

Aftercare was also excellent - what appeared to be a problem with the tow bar actually turned out to be a fault with the car. FastFitz were super helpful to troubleshoot the issue and get me to a fix, even though it wasn’t the actual tow bar in the end!
