Ordered a table on 26th Jan 2021 that said IN STOCK 5/7 days delivery as we needed a table ASAP - money left our account the next day so I assumed it was progressing, I had tried calling the company before placing the order to confirm stock and delivery dates but only an answerphone message that directs you to the website to email them - it states in the message we are still open and delivering! So I emailed asking if they could let me know when the table will arrive, didn’t get a reply to the email for 5 days! And then was told we would get a call next week to arrange delivery - we didn’t! So I emailed again, 3 days later another response to say they have spoken to delivery company who will definitely call me that week, 5 days later finally they called to arrange delivery the following week! The delivery team themselves were lovely and kept me updated by text and calls, the men that delivered it also assembled into my dining room, taking away all packaging, and themselves wearing masks and gloves, they deserve 5 stars! They were professional and polite and wiped their feet every time the cane in or out! They made sure I was happy with where the table was and that I checked it over before leaving, the table is beautiful and I’m delighted with it, just wish the customer service for the actual company was as good! They should not advertise 5/7 days express delivery if they can’t do it!! I accept Covid makes everything longer than usual but that should be advertised so customer expectations are met - I probably would have still ordered the table but would have liked to have know exactly delivery estimate.

Shocking service. My Aunty spent over £400 for a table and chairs. the Item took over 6 weeks to be delivered and unfortunately my aunty made a mistake and ordered the wrong size table. therefore she wished to return the item..
She was informed that returning the item will be a fee of £120. This is disgusting, to someone on benefits. The company then had the cheek, rather then to explain why the fee is so large to tell my Aunty to go check there small print to which I have, and this says a Minimum fee of £50 to return an item (STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY) PS- You dont even speak with the companty via email you speak with a partner company (I think) called Morale UK team.. here is just one email from the customer service - Hi there
I am confused. YOu took delivery on the 23rd for the item. Why? if you wanted to return it?

I have never used this company before, but will definitely use them again. Ordered and delivered within the week. The chairs are amazing and look fabulous with my glass table. Thank You.

Ordered a headboard which was delivered in a timely fashion and looks great. Just a bit of confusion when I ordered it online but was not contacted to say they had received the order.

So I'm struggling to give this a star rating that everyone would believe is fair because the company have done a fantastic job, they've delivered the product on time and their communications have been fantastic.

Unfortunately, on arrival, the delivery driver decided to deliver our chest of draws standing on its end, but as its a curved piece this has cracked the wood and damaged the product. Its not enough damage for me to return the drawers but First Furniture's advice page indicates that a return is the only option for a damaged product. So I'm unsure what to do in this situation.

Didnt have the item in stock. Offered a similar one for a much higher price as a replacement. The offered product was available £30 cheaper at several otger retailers. Still awaiting a refund.

Horrible company horrible customer service and experience.
I can’t even waste time to explain my experience with these scams.Don’t waste time and money buying their crap because everything they send is damaged and broken and charge for returns or cancellation.
Disgusting,they should be banned from selling online.

The people helped assemble my dining table, they arrived with due notice, very organized, clean and punctual.

I sent an email before buying asking if they delivered to my area. They answered quickly with an affirmative. My item of furniture was then going to be some time before it could be delivered so I was given the choice of cancelling my order which I declined.
So I am very satisfied with the service so far.

I placed an order 10 days ago no information about delivery date or dispatch. I contacted them via email twice no response. Terrible customer service. Avoid

I don't pay money and place order to chase when my order will be delivered to me. I shouldn't have to.

I have had a worse experience with first furniture. I placed my order on 19th January 2021, but i never heard any updates regarding delivery. I wrote an email requesting updates but no response 😕😐

Shocking company. Ordered an £850 cuddle chair in November with a three week delivery. Within 24 hours of ordering received an email to say it was out of stock and would be arriving last two weeks in Jan. Absolutely no communication whatsoever and when I emailed them to ask where my chair was received a several word response from Morale Uk (who are they?) saying it had been delayed and would be here beginning of Feb, and that delays should be expected given the current climate. I think not, the pandemic started in March and I ordered it in November, so this isn’t an excuse, and Brexit wasn’t even happening at that point so no port delays! Still no chair, and no responses to emails about where it is. Having sold our other sofa in December in anticipation of this arriving we still don’t have it and doesn’t look likely we will have it either, pretty sure we are being ripped off. Avoid this company at every cost, pay a bit more and order from John Lewis, at least you know you’ll get your chair even if you have to wait for it. Absolute disgrace.

Update 26th February 2021. After 7 requests for a refund which were ignored, and reporting them to our bank for fraud, and also the police, miraculously our chair appeared and has been delivered today. We received ZERO correspondence from this company about the cancellation or subsequent delivery and were only contacted by the delivery company (who were lovely and very helpful). Can’t fault the quality of the chair, but would absolutely, 100% advise anyone against using this company, they are absolutely diabolical and shouldn’t be allowed to trade.

Costumer service is no existent. Sofa taking that long to deliver. Had to send various emails just to move delivery address to length of time. Still hasn’t arrive, email after email and no reply.
Now raised to card company for refund money.
I would avoid this company completely and spend the extra £200/500 on DFS as doubt they’ll be this bad.

NO Customer Service, False Product Listing, Phone Number VM only.
I purchased table (discounted on sale) which was described as oak however it was ply board with an oak veneer - nowhere close to oak in terms of quality or strength.

I contacted five times over email, no response to emails. I contacted via the phone number on web site which is just a voice message with no option to contact customer service.

This weekend I will raise a dispute with the credit card company to get a refund. Time and money wasted!

First furniture company is to be avoided at all costs. It has an unfair business practice with hidden fees for cancellations even if you try to exercise your consumer right for cancellations within 14 days. Note this company is an online one which also trades under different names. Be alert

Still have not received any phone call or item ordered says it’s to be delivered today but still no sight or sign

PLEASE AVOID TTHIS COMPANY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. I MADE A PURCHASE, CHANGED MY MIND AND CALLED SEVERALLY SO IT CAN BE CANCELLED BUT THEIR PHONE NO WASNT CONNECTING,SENT EMAIL AND NO RESPONSE. WHEN IT WAS DELIVERED, I DECLINED THE PARCEL SO ITS RETURNED TO THEM. NOW IVE BEEN TOLD ILL BE CHARGED £60 FOR CHANGING MY MIND. THEY HAVE INTENTIONALLY IGNORED MY MAILS AND NOW WANT TO RIP ME OFF. EVEN IF I HAD TO PAY SHIPPING COST, IT COULDNT BE £60 FOR A SMALL CHAIR

Bad customer service

I bought a bed frame which was meant to be delivered in 3-5 days,a week went by and no reply to my emails or the bed.
I think this is seriously bad customer service. Don’t waste money on their website, proper scam.
