Again this is not a reflection of the experience you had with Fitzjohn, The house you purchased was not as clean as you would have liked. To be clear we did not own the house and so we cannot be responsible for the condition the seller left it in. We advised you speak to your solicitor who acted for you. I have also asked you to call me to discuss this but you prefer to do it on a review platform. This review has nothing to do with Fitzjohn estate agents. We also offered to speak with the seller about this for you and this wasn't good enough for you. What else would you like me to do ? Neil

I'am not recommand as buyer !!!
Everything has beginning when estate agent inform us about STC house will be again available for sale because the vendor is not happy whith the previous buyer because the sale process is too slow, and as we look to buy a house, we can make on offer. After ours offer has been accepted, we start to spend money on all procedures(1690£).Few days before to exchange the contract,the vendors has had decided to not sale any more because they don't have were to move.When we've ask estate agent, why we didn't konw about from beggining, said that she thought we will not accept to buy the house!!

Sorry to hear your displeasure, however the vendor has the right not to proceed as you hold the same right. Sadly they no longer wish to sell, There is not a lot we can do if they decide to stay. we too miss out on earning our fee so clearly you can see that we would not want this to happen. so thank you for the 1 star review

You made it such an easy stress-free transaction for us. As we were overseas, I really anticipated no end of problems but I was totally wrong, you guys handled everything very professionally and kept us updated every step of the way. It is great to have good customer service

Would not recommend Fitzjohn as a…
Would not recommend Fitzjohn as a overall experience they sold the property but our circumstances changed so had to withdraw due to financial reasons they were great on the bases trying to gain the sale (There’s two sides to most people)but know there’s a penalty off £500 as stated in the terms and conditions which is fair but doesn’t have a facility to take a card payment all we can afford is to pay credit card at this moment in time (this isn’t pointed out in the terms and conditions) now we are having voicemails saying it’s being taken to a small claims court ..WOULDN’T RECOMMEND I haven’t questioned your ability I’ve questioned your Integrity ringing a lady that has lost her husband and who is frail and informing her you would be taking it to a small claims court ..

Matthew, Your mother withdrew from the sale of her property after months of marketing and sales chasing by us, your buyer had spent 100's getting to a point which they offered to exchange contracts, we as a company invested heavily in your mothers move after she had tried to sell with 2 another agents unsuccessfully, this is why we suggest in our terms that there is a withdrawal fee should you pull out after agreeing an offer and asking us to do all this for you,(we are no sale agreed no fee) We do not have a card reader as all our payments are bank transfers and there are cost to have such a device which would then need to be added to your bill. I have offered you this method along with cheque or cash, but you have not offered any other option, I have had no answer to my calls or emails to arrange a payment plan and now you have chosen to leave us this review, I am free 7 days a week to talk to but ignoring us does not help, I am also happy to meet at the property on Buckthorn road should this help. So to recap your review is that we are great at selling property but two star for not having a card reader!!!
The best agent for a first time landlord
For my first foray into being a landlord I used Fitzjohn as my agent and have not regretted it for a moment. They have handled the whole process in a highly professional way - finding a lovely tenant in just a couple of days, getting references, contracts, deposits, collecting rent and generally managing the the whole process. It has taken all my worries about renting out away. For anyone renting out a property you would be pushed to find better.
