Efficient delivery. Easy to plant with the instructions and it has grown really quickly and looks great!

I used the dog safe option, so it worry free too in that respect.

Would definitely use again when planting a new border.

I’ve wanted to use this company for a while and so glad I chose to! All the plants arrived in perfect condition and were surprisingly good size. I ordered the shady border and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of shrubs, grasses, ferns and also flowering plants which will make for a varied and interesting border once it all grows in.

The whole process & premise of Garden on a Roll really does take away all the faff and guesswork out of creating a lovely garden border (myself as a novice gardener) and I wouldn’t have created such a nice border without it.

One plant was missing (the box got wet so fell out of the bottom during transit) but after a quick email it was immediately sorted and a replacement sent out on the same day.

Overall I would highly recommend and will be sure to use them again when the other part of my garden is ready!

I used the personalisation service this time around which I think could be better. I didn’t really receive what I wanted/expected unfortunately. Also the plants arrived smashed to bits (DHL fault, not yours), but I’d spent a lot of money so was disheartened. Felt a bit fobbed off by customer services when I called in. My previous experience was much better.

The team were really helpful explaining what I needed to do to order my sunny pet friendly extra large border, instructions were clear, pleasant experience so also ordered my second border with them. My dog loves is as much as we do, thanks Hollie and Natalie

Fantastic service. A really clever idea

Bought a 9 x 0.5 m sunny border roll last year. Delivery was very quick. Planting was easy and the range of different plants amazing. I would not have been able to chose them (or had the time!)

Results are amazing and this year the bed has really come to life!

I think garden on a roll is fantastic value for money. Their knowledge and expertise has given me the confidence to tackle my garden and has acted like a springboard into a new hobby. Quality plants and easy to use. I only ended up buying one border and I’ve since done the others myself. Cannot recommend them enough.

All round good experience, would have been 5 stars but plants didn't turn up on the day I specified which was annoying. Plants very good quality and well packaged. I would recommend just order them a few days before you need them in case of a late delivery.

The delivery was exactly on time. However, it was not as expected. I was looking for a DHL van. I got a non descript battered white van. The boxes were a bit banged up but not openly ripped so I took delivery. I had to spend time sorting the plants out as I ordered two different borders. Unfortunately one of the plants was damaged. The stem was broken, not completely snapped so I have tried to bind it but alas it has died. Another of the plants has also died since planting. Two from 54 is not a lot I know but I will now have two spaces until the rest grow to, hopefully, fill the gaps. Overall I would say quite good value but please sort out the couriers to avoid more disappointment.

Not the best first experience with this company. They screwed up delivery days (which I had paid for) which resulted in then a delayed delivery where the plants seemed to get lost in the courier system and arrived 6 days late dumped on my drive in a crushed box. Plants barely alive. I repeatedly asked for a refund and was told to just water the plants they will "revive". The plants that arrived also didn't follow the "personalised" version I had paid for which was for a shady border in a cottage style with pastel colours, not sure bright red and purples are pastels @garden on a roll. Safe to say I had to get my bank involved as their customer service is non existent once they have your money. Avoid and use your local gardening centre for about a third of the price and hassle

My plants arrived in good time and looked healthy and sturdy, very easy to follow the planting guide, flower bed looked amazing when finished. Easy to order online and good value for money. This is the third time I have ordered from them.

Whilst the concept is great for those who aren’t avid gardeners, the service is quite expensive. As a first-time buyer, I was offered a 10% discount, and at the time I placed my order there was also a weekend promotion offering free bags of compost, mulch, and another product depending on the amount spent.

However, when my order arrived, the compost I had selected was missing. I later discovered that the first-time buyer discount could not be combined with the weekend offer. While I understand that multiple promotions often can’t be used together, this was not made clear during the checkout process. The system also automatically prioritised the offer that provided the smaller saving. Had this been clearly explained at the time of purchase, I would have chosen differently. Overall, the process felt misleading and disingenuous.

So pleased I opted to use Garden on a Roll as I had been struggling to fill the boarder and this has taken all the stress of sourcing the right plants etc.
