I would not suggest to buy plants on this website. I ordered 4 plants and only 3 arrived. When I asked for the forth plant they told me that they wouldn't have sent it as they would have to pay for delivery yet when I ordered I decided to pay the delivery based on four plants, not three. If I knew that three would arrive I wouldn't have bothered. They offered refund for the plant missing. I won't buy from this Company anymore.

I used to love buying plants here but the new flat fee delivery has put me off forever, it's too high.

I ordered over 20 plants. only two of three boxes arrived. They said it was my responibility to contact the delivery company and find the missing parcel. This proved time consuming and complicated. So I reorded the missing plants. Again it was sent in two boxes and one went missing. I spent days emailing the company. The customer service was the worst I've ever expereinced. They actually had a go a moan at me and said questioned that I was receiving that plants but wanted to cheat them. DO NOT USE THE WEBSITE

the plants arrived fast and in good condition, also there was a small manual inside giving some advice on how to plant them, etc. looking forward to seeing them thriving next spring!

Received my order today. Very fast delivery. Flowers were protected and well wrapped.

Very competitive prices. Plants arrived very well packaged and within three days, and were healthy and vibrant.
The .ie website address gave me the impression they were Irish but they’re based in the Netherlands, which I don’t mind. Two of the plants were bigger than I expected and two were smaller (based on the photos used on the website) - does that even out!? The blackberry bush was tiny - I may yet contact them about it, but nearly all the other plants were a good size. The ‘Trendy Houseplant set’ I bought were exceptional value for money. They should do more bundles like this! I’m a novice gardener but my experience with them has been very good (and the two undersized plants will grow in time) so I would recommend them based on my experience. I’ve read some of the other reviews which were very negative but my experience has been good. Oh and the brief growing and care instructions included were concise and appreciated and a nice touch but did not include all of the plants I bought but I can forgive that small shortcoming! (I can Google the care advice). Overall happy with my experience and plan on buying from them again. Oh and the delivery charge was quite reasonable for international shipping of 7 plants…

I am frustrated with my sansevieria because the website shows a large plant with many leaves and I received a small plant with only 2 leaves, about 10 cm tall.
But before making the purchase I checked the size by email, and someone told me it was about 20 cm tall. However, I complained and the store returned my money, but I spent 10 euros on delivery.
Also, I bought it on the Irish website and the plant came from Netherland. Delivery was delayed but the plant was healthy.

Planted a new plant in pot and i used fertiliser to help it settle. Plants not growing at all and 2 months in are dying.

When I contacted tnem I was told as I used fertiliser feed the warranty is void ? This fertiliser was recommend by a well known garden centre . I told them what they said and they said it's a scam frome the site

I asked to speak with manager but they would not.

Poor service . Avoid .

Ordered portenschlagiana and the plants arrived three days later. They were very
carefully packaged and in excellent condition. Very happy with my purchase and will be ordering again.

Arrived in time,,the plants that had half grown now are not what I ordered.
And the seeds for all other plants failed,even gave some of my experience friends.
Do NOT trust this dishonest company.

I ordered an array of trees, shrubs and perennials. They were delivered to the West of Ireland three days later. All nicely packaged and a handy printed paragraph of information of each plant I bought. Very impressed. Put a second order in within the week because I was so impressed with speed and quality of the first order.

I just paid 83 euros for dead plants. The plants arrived 8 days after they were dispatched. 8 days in a cardboard box with no light and no water! Some of them had rotted by the time they arrived. I contacted customer services and sent pictures of the poor dead plants. Their response was that a little TLC will revive them! I would avoid this company at all costs.

Ordered plants and other garden products on 4th May last.
Received an email this morning to inform that none of the garden products were available and that since the value of plants ordered was less than the shipping cost, the entire order was cancelled. They say a refund has been triggered, which will be visible in my account within 2 to 3 working days. We shall see!

On day I should have been expecting delivery I was finding out the order had been cancelled by gardens4you without any notification.

Placed order and got a confirmation email from gardens4you, over the coming days I started to receive what appeared to be phishing emails from Multisafepay.

After multiple emails to gardens4you, they eventually confirmed "the payment wasn't sent to us"...I didn't "send" payment I paid online days earlier with my credit card and received confirmation of same...beware providing your credit card details and expectation of order delivery!

My Pampas Grasses arrived safe and well and considering the Covid restrictions in good time. Great team - great service.

Spent €412 with this company but less than half of the order arrived and I haven’t received any response from their customer service team. Of the plants that DID arrive, my 25 lavender plants were all entirely dead - absolutely no chance of them coming back to life - and the rest were in dire conditions also. Will be making a complaint to the European trade commission unless I hear from the company & receive a refund in the next couple of days.

Before Review their trees let me just say the delivery time and over all Website UX and UI experience is really good, fast and straight forward.

My Order 9-338369 Lemon and Orange Combo was the only order that arrived perfect and it seems to be thriving! Bear in mind, all my trees are kept inside in a control environment with a lot of light.

All of the other 8 trees on the other hand arrived with a aphid infestation that took me a while to get under control. The aphids were pretty noticeable so I could tackle straight, way the apple leaves had a white dust on some of them which I didn't pay too much attention to.

But it turned out to be a fungus Podosphaera leucotricha, and by the time was able to buy and apply a anti fungus it was too late the trees are dying. And the aphid infestation on the other trees was not under control after all just this morning I had to remove some leaves from the cherry and apple tree, 2 of the cherry trees were too far gone and another 2 are on the way. From all of 10 trees only 2 will survive.

The quality of the trees is just horrendous! Is absolutely disgusting for them to sell trees in such state. I've contacted customer but I was completely ignored, they are non-existent.

Conclusion, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHOP unless with got a whole lot of pesticide, anti-fungal and a lot of time in your hands trying to rescue their diseased trees.

I have ordered from them twice since since lockdown at first when I realised they were out of the uk I thought this is going to be a nightmare delivery will be slow considering I have been waiting for a uk company to delivery for over a month.
Anyway I was really surprised when a week later they arrived I was so happy I planted them immediately and gave them a good drink they are doing great so 5 days ago I ordered more they arrived yesterday and I planted them immediately. The compost was still wet when they arrived.
This shows that other companies are using the outbreak as an excuse for allowing over ordering. Will definitely be using again when they have more fruit trees in stock.

UPDATE
I have ordered a 3rd time from them during lockdown my plants except 1 bulb (they are refunding me for) are thriving. I have had no experience of bug infestations or any problems at all. Maybe I have been lucky but I doubt it seems as I have had 3 flawless deliveries from them.

Although it says Gardens4you.ie, all the plants are sent from the Netherlands. MIne arrived 9 days after I ordered them and they were either dead or dying. I don't think they were even good quality to start with. They bore no resemblance to the magnificent photos on their website. I had to send photos (not that easy) and even then it took a long time to get a refund which came in two payments. In these difficult times gardening is one thing we can do so my disappointment with all the dead and withered plants is understandable. My advice is don't buy from them. Always check that the plants your are ordering are being posted from somewhere local even if they originate from further afield. That way there is less likelihood of them arriving dead and useless.
