The company were great to deal with and kept me updated at each step of the process so I always knew what was happening and when. Very impressed with both the surveyor and the office afterwards when I had a query. Surveyor was friendly, knowledgable and a delight to do business with. Very professional.

The survey was produced very promptly following the appointment and I was impressed by just how thorough and detailed the report was, with multiple photographs and explanations of points for consideration. Our surveyor was clearly very experienced and knowledgeable - the report was well-structured, with clear, common sense advice on the issues identified and helpful guidance as to the next steps to take. Our surveyor even took the time to talk me through some of the points when I asked for further advice. Absolutely brilliant, this is our second house sale and the last survey we got they didn’t speak to us at all just got a survey through that seemed half arsed.
I contacted gateway quite late in our sale and was worried there would be a delay, they got the survey done and sent to us within a week and a half. The sellers also used gateway and they rung me immediately to see if I was comfortable with this potential conflict of interest which of course I was fine with but I loved that they told me and asked me. Was a very personable touch and couldn’t recommend them more. I early review anything but feel they defiantly deserve a good word.

The surveyor rung to ask if there. Was anything specific to look at. Her report was thorough and arrived quickly. The admin suffers from be8ng ‘automatic’ however, when I telephoned the company they helped quickly and efficiently. Overall a very good experience.

I had been recommended contact details for Dilys in Gateway Surveyor's by the estate agency; throughout the process she kept me up to date, and always happy to take a phone call. I found the costs to be very reasonable (somewhere around the middle) but the quality was fantastic, very in-depth report, clearly exploring issues I hadn't even noticed on the viewings, booked the survey 3 weeks in advance once offer was accepted. In the end I backed out of the property sale, without such a magnificent report, I would have ultimately been thousands of pounds at a loss in the long-run!
