Ordered a large appliance on 30/10. They phoned me a couple of days later. Didn’t leave a voicemail. I had to ring them back only to be told they didn’t have the appliance. Said they had sent me an email re alternatives which they hadn’t. Offered to send email again but it again didn’t arrive. Fed up, I confirmed my cancellation of the order on 3/11 and they acknowledged it on 4/11 saying it would take 3-4 working days before it would be in my account. Still wasn’t refunded by 12/11. Emailed them again and they replied on 13/11 saying they would chase the refund and get back to me same day. They didn’t. Have had to put the amount (nearly £400) into dispute with Barclaycard.

We ordered, and paid £1499.00 for our replacement hob off Genesis Home Appliances' website, which was showing as in stock. On telephoning them the next day, to see if we could pay extra for quicker delivery, we were told that this item was not in stock and they were unsure when it would be in. We were advised that the website is updated manually and this was an error on their part. We were advised that they could order the same ceramic hob, from another supplier, but it would be an additional £700!
The product advertised on the website, was not actually available, and they were unsure when it would be in stock! I asked for a refund. I then chased three times for this refund. You call the accounts department and there is no reply.
After 10 days, Kai sorted this for me and the refund was received. All in all, this was not a great experience and I would certainly not be using them again. Buyer beware that they are misinforming customers and keeping their money!

It's a shame that given all the positive reviews as a customer I feel completely let down and dissatisfied with your service. Advertising an item that was unavailable, no confirmation email when I purchased the item, no calls to discuss the order. I rang after 48 hours of nothing to be told I would get a call back from. "the Web team* at some point.... At some point, come on what happened to customer service. Well the call eventually came through to advise the item I had ordered and paid for was unavailable. Surprise surprise, but why oh why did you still list it? I asked for you tod do one thing to restore some faith in your company and that was to issue a full refund within 2 days. You have even failed on that, I'm still waiting. I will never ever use or recommend your company again. I'll stick with AO, at least they do what they say.

Extremely bad company and customer service, we purchased a washer/dryer and kept being told it was out of stock for over 2 weeks but that it would definitely be in shortly over the next few days, this never came in stock and in the meantime we got rid of our current washing machine so we were without one. They offered an alternative which was more expensive for a lesser spec and would not honour the original price we had paid, even though we were lied to and thoroughly inconvenienced due to their own doing. We are now awaiting a full refund and have to source a new washer, a complete waste of time. Do not use this company!!

Wide choice of items at competitive prices, often best price with removal, installation costs etc. In particular the customer service was excellent, expedited delivery arranged by staff member to meet personal circumstances. Extremely pleased with the service and product.

Easy to order on the website, excellent communication and swift delivery. I have yet to have my cooker installed, but all looks fantastic. Lovely delivery guys this morning respectful with the house and chirpy. Would highly recommend Genesis for the communication alone was spot-on they didn’t leave me hanging. I didn’t have to call them, they communicated so well.

Kai was extremely helpful, friendly and approachable, very professional. He went above and beyond his duties to help me. Delivery was excellent, they put it exactly where I wanted and were polite and helpful too.

A great experience from start to finish. My order was verbally confirmed by Liam, who kept me updated about when it was due back in stock, which was only a few days. Delivery was as promised, within the 4 hour window advised to be in the day of delivery. The 2 guys who delivered and fitted my cooker were polite, tidy and very efficient. Very happy with my new cooker, and the courtesy call I received after it's delivery from Liam. Would definitely use again.

I recently purchased a washing machine, all the staff I spoke to were helpful. I spoke to Ty, who was absolutely excellent, arranged delivery really quickly for me, really good service, would definitely recommend.

Professional and helpful service.

I bought the beko condensor dryer, Fast delivery, delivery drivers was lovely, the company phoned straight away to booked delivery slot, very helpful phoned to let me know the time on the morning and phoned to let me know when was near.

A company i had never heard of before were very good with keeping us informed about our purchase and better priced all round, the delivery was very good as was the gents who bought and delivered the item and would happy to recommend this company.

I was initially quite nervous about ordering from Genesis as they were an unknown company to me but all of those fears have rapidly disappeared. The service I have received from Ty throughout has been second to none! There have been a few issues with my order, with things being discontinued or problems with stock, but I was kept up to date consistently with all my options presented to me, and solutions were found for me, all of which never seemed too much trouble for Ty. What an amazing experience and I wouldn't hesitate to order again in the future. Definitely recommend and my cooker is now here safe and sound!
