Ordered the travelpod thinking what a great way to travel! Little did I know that it could not adequately charge ALL devices as it claimed - particularly poor with Apple Watch BUT it was convenient until it would no longer recharge. I contacted the company and the initial response was basically oh well, I guess you let the battery drain down to zero. I HAD NOT! In fact there was still a small charge left but it would not recharge. Following more dialogue i was told that the manual clearly states that letting the battery discharge to zero destroys the battery. I asked where in the manual it states that and I was sent this:

Important: We recommend not allowing your device to run completely flat.

I guess “we recommend” should be interpreted as under no circumstances let the device run flat because it will destroy the battery.
Really pathetic customer service - they are not willing to stand by their product. Would not recommend this product nor the company to anyone.

Product was delivered quickly and works well.

Compact power bank. Great for using on our travels. Speedy response to our order.

Shipping was very quick. I only wish the included cables were a little longer. When using the unit in pass through mode, the cable length can mean the product I am charging is not able to lay flat on a surface and is instead holding weight on the cable since out.ets are usually more than two inches above the floor or table.

Website says “Ships from Canada”, tracking says from Mainland China.

Update to review: Dropping from 2 to 1 star. Received today and I open to package to find an instruction card that doesn’t explain much and the instructions are Chinese language first then English.
There’s pieces in the box that I have no idea what they’re for.
There’s no block to plug into the wall just the cable.
The charger pod itself has an Apple Watch attachment that is lose when plugged in. Couldn’t be less impressed.

I recently purchased the travel pod. I have lots of power banks and travel chargers for comparison as I really like charged gadgets :)

Unfortunately although the design of this is great, it barely holds enough charge to fully charge an iPhone and then takes an absolute age to recharge itself and despite following the quite detailed instructions on how to use it, it doesn’t hold charge when not used.

I’ll use it as a back up but it certainly won’t be my go to product, which is a shame as while I think the idea is there, the execution isn’t as good as it needs to be.

I bought the travel pod and it arrived in a few days. Loved it so much I ordered a powerbank also. Have been travelling for 5 weeks now and have solely relied on these two products to charge our different type phones and travel shaver and hair straightener. Particularly like the wireless charging for my iPhone. No annoying cords - a real game changer. Highly recommend!

Excellent product

I have purchased two of the original model. They function extremely well and hold a charge well. Also can charge multiple devises at the same time.

Having seen there is a smaller model I did not think twice about buying it. Then came the issues. Barely holds a charge and that's pretty consistent. This is in no way the same or similar product to its predecessor and it's quite overpriced when compared to similar sized models from other companies.

When I complained the company sent me and identifying label for the return BUT return at my own expense. Not only that I had to have all the original packaging which I did not have since I assumed that product would be as good as the larger version. Also they asked that it be a brand new product that is UNUSED. Now that's rather ridiculous since how would I have known it was faulty if it was unused.

All in all this was a disappointing experience. My recommendation? Don't buy this product!

Reading their response to my review am struck by the fact that it is not at all helpful. Most reputable companies allow returns of their products when customers determine the product is inferior (even electronic products). I still recommend you do not purchase this inferior product. It’s a definite waste of money.
Again I would recommend the larger one bit that’s not what I am referring to.

Fast and on time

Fast shipping and I am loving my dashed charger so far! I purchased 3 units with the carrying case and gifted 2 of them. These chargers will be perfect for travel!

I was looking for a power bank for an upcoming trip overseas, so I purchased the Travel Pod from GoDashed - which looked perfect for my requirements. I tested it on a number of business trips and weekends away (in NZ) and unfortunately it didn’t perform as expected - it struggled to reliably charge my iPad and Apple Watch during everyday use with genuine Apple cables.

I reached out for support hoping for a straightforward solution and then ultimately decided to use what looked like an easy returns process through a 'change of mind' policy.

What followed was a frustrating and drawn-out process involving blame-shifting, delays, and lengthy technical explanations that tried to prove the product was fine - even though it clearly hadn’t worked for me.

To make matters worse, their change-of-mind returns policy sounds simple online, but turns out to be full of fine print - including a requirement to return the original packaging in resalable condition. Honestly, who keeps the packaging for a power bank? It’s not a crystal vase - it’s a charging block.

I was offered a 50% refund as a “gesture of goodwill,” which I accepted (albeit slightly after they claim the offer expired), and now I’ve been left with no working product and no refund. That’s right - I’m out of pocket, with nothing to show for it!

I fully expect they’ll reply to this review with a wall of data, voltage stats, and disclaimers - but none of that changes the core issue: the product didn’t work as expected, I was treated like I was the problem, and GoDashed made it as hard as possible to resolve - leaving it unresolved.

If you value simple, honest customer service - and expect companies to stand behind their products when things go wrong - I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

The item came within a few days (Ontario CA) Looks sleek and compact. When opened it was 89% charged and I tried it right away. All worked great! They answer questions quickly on social media. The big test comes soon when I travel. Love the white. Hmmm how to add a spot for other electronics like hair dryer. lol

its cheap chiniese drop shipped junk,they claim to be NZ company but surprise surprise they dont have a NZ website or phone number and the adress they have listed is not far from where i live....had a look and its not even them!
