I paid by check and the money came out of my account on a Tuesday but they didn't ship my order until the following Tuesday which seems to be too much time. I was beginning to wonder if I had been ripped off. Eric called and explained the delay to me and everything was as stated in the check procedure.

As a first time purchaser from goldandsilveronline.com, I was surprised, and worried initially, that the promised shipping date had passed with no notification from the seller. Upon contacting the seller, I was given a new shipping date, but that too passed without any proactive communication from the seller.

Following that, I again contacted the seller who promised shipping on a date specific, and provided tracking information. The actual tracking information even after receipt of the items said "electronic information received" and that is all.

Upon receipt of two boxes of items I ordered had arrived, each with differing tracking numbers . All my items were included and arrived in good condition.

After checking the tracking information from one of the boxes I received, but that had not been forwarded to me earlier, I found that this tracking number did, in fact, include the correct tracking information, but that I could not have been known until the package(s) had been delivered to obtain the tracking information that had not been forwarded to me earlier.

The order was large enough to qualify for free shipping and insurance, When I first contacted goldandsilveronline.com about the failure to receive shipping data as promised, I was told that part of my order had not arrived. I was also told that my next order would be shipped free.

Because my order size qualified for free shipping, and prospective orders would too be qualifying, the offer of free shipping was of no benefit to me. After mentioning that to the company representative, she told me she would check into it with someone with more authority than herself.

Nothing was ever mentioned by goldandsilveronline.com again on that subject; nor did I bring it up with them again. I didn't feel that I had any obligation to do so.

In short, I'm happy with the price and quality of the items I've purchased, but not too satisfied with the customer support after the sale when problems with promised shipping failed to materialize.

Every person I did talk with about these problems was courteous, as was I, but not much follow-through with me as was suggested.

Let me be clear: the order did eventually arrive and the items were in good condition; I'm happy with them. Goldandsilveronline.com, however, should concentrate upon making sure that their promises are kept, and that customers are proactively made aware of changes in their shipment dates and etc.
