Helpful staff, able to offer alternatives when a boot size wasn’t in stock

Ellie offered very helpful advice on the best way to waterproof a RAB jacket that I had bought there previously.

Eben from the shop in Dorchester was incredibly helpful! i was probably in the shop for about half hour and he helped me the whole time (apart from to serve other customers of course!) i was struggling to find a good durable bag for traveling around the UK on and off trains ect and he was so helpful and im extremely gratefu and love my new bag!

I have not experienced more knowledgable and helpful staff anywhere quite like it.
Callum was friendly and kind. I was having a bad day and his customer care flipped it around and helped reset me.
Thanks Callum. More staff like you please.

Eben in Dorchester branch made me so welcome and was so extremely helpful in finding me the correct and most comfortable pair of walking/hiking GoreTex trainers. Trying more was no trouble and he went out of his way to find me suitable pairs to try. Thank you. I will be back for my winter footwear!
Check out was thorough too to make sure I had the correct shoes.

I got hiking boots today and was unsure which one was the most suitable for long hikes. Eben was extremely helpful and was very informative.

Great store, layout and tidiness, vibes were really high amongst the staff it felt like an amazing store to even step foot into everyone was so happy,
I was served on footwear by Big Cal who’s product knowledge was second to none and came across as a wonderful person, really impressive young man, on tills I was greeted by Ellie who is one of the happiest and down to earth employees I’ve ever met, everyone in the store was a great credit to the company and I wish them all the best,

The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. It is disgraceful though that one has to pay £5 to get a store card. No other retailer that I use charges for a store card.

Popped into GoOutdoors to get some hiking boots for my daughter, we were not sure what style to go with and Ezra was very helpful with finding something comfy that my daughter liked the look of. He was super friendly and had great knowledge of boots, overall excellent service

Great service from a very cheerful young man called Eben. Will definitely return to the store in Dorchester.

I popped into Go Outdoors expecting to buy a couple of bits for a weekend hike. Instead, I received what can only be described as a masterclass in outdoor retail from Callum and Eben.

Callum somehow managed to answer every question I had, including several I hadn’t thought of yet. At one point I was convinced he could probably navigate me up Everest using only a compass, a flapjack, and pure confidence.

Eben was equally brilliant. I asked for advice on waterproof gear and left feeling prepared for everything from a light drizzle to a biblical flood. If Noah had met Eben, the Ark would have had better storage solutions.

Together they were like the Batman and Robin of camping equipment, except friendlier and with significantly better knowledge of hiking socks.

Fantastic service, great laughs, and I somehow spent less money than I expected while buying more than I intended. Witchcraft may be involved.

Give Callum and Eben a pay rise before a rival outdoor shop lures them away with promises of unlimited trail mix.

I came in last week and was so lost in the store. Cal helped me find my way and the product I needed. My grandson wanted a new tent, and I had no idea that different tents serve different purposes! As an elderly woman, this restored my faith in young men being chivalrous. Thank you Cal
