Purchased a new pair of walking boots, assisted by Emily who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Steve was on the till and gave more advice on after care. Both were very friendly and I would recommend Go Outdoors Halifax.

Very friendly staff. They explained the membership card and discounts. Nice products. Clean tidy and organized store.

Staff were so helpful. Jake knew exactly what I needed gave fabulous advice on washing and care of the coat. The person on the till was again really helpful with proving me the information for the membership (think his name was Sam). Would highly recommend this store.

We went to Go Outdoors in Halifax, looking for a pair of lightweight walking shoes. The staff, EMILY and STEVE, were very helpful and pleasant, giving invaluable advice and assistance. We came away with a great deal more than we went in for, and all of it of very good quality and at brilliant prices!

Emily and Steve were efficient and friendly. Shoes were in stock. Rejoined club and got good discount on latest pair of favourite walking shoes, Merrell Moab 3 GTX.

I had a great experience at the Halifax Go Outdoors store. Steve and Alex were really helpful — they not only guided me to the right type of gloves I was after but also found me a better, on-sale option that saved me money. Excellent customer service and very friendly staff.

Jake was very helpful in choosing the walking boots I was looking for. He also gave me useful tips for the boots.

Receieved great service and recommendations from Jake regarding walking shoes saved my girlfriend from non-waterproof shoe horrors! Shoes are ofcourse great quality and provide the protection required. We were recommended to get the membership that neither of us were aware of prior to visiting and Steve set that up quickly and efficiently. We will definitely be returning!

Very helpful staff, very efficient and competent as ever. Have used this store since it opened and have always found the staff very knowledgeable and friendly. I also appreciate the continuity of staff at the branch, so much so that they now recognise me when I walk in!

Visited the Halifax store today to buy some clothing for an upcoming walk up Ben Nevis for Overgate Hospice. Jake, the Manager, was extremely knowledgable, informative and charming and helped me make sensible choices for my trip. Really pleased with everything I bought and was delighted with the excellent customer service. Can’t recommend enough.
