Still waiting for a refund over a week ago sent email let’s see if I get some answers why

Today I visited Go Outdoors to purchase items for a long hike. Staff were brilliant! Special mention to Rory who helped me find lost bits for my walking poles and to the assistant (male, but didn't get his name) who helped and advised me on a number of items from sleeping bag liner to water bottles. Thank you 😊

I needed some fishing equipment for my son, so went to Go Outdoors in Stoke today. Paul was really helpful and knowledgeable, offering lots of advice with regards to what equipment my son needed to add to his seat box. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we got exactly what we needed, without making us feel pressured into buying anything unnecessary.

Really impressed with the level of customer service and Paul’s knowledge. He was friendly, patient and clearly knows his stuff. A real credit to the store — we’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Paul to anyone needing advice on fishing equipment. 🎣

Had the pleasure of meeting Theresa on the sports footwear department.
Nothing was too much trouble for this lady .
Helped me choose a pair of running trainers.
I’m struggling with plantar fasciitis at present so needed to choose the most comfortable pair .
Theresa was very knowledgeable & valuable experience helping me choose a pair of Brookes which I am happy with ,

We visited Go Outdoors last Friday and purchased a Eurohike Rydal 500 tent. We returned this evening to purchase camp beds and sleeping bags, and when we got to the till, we noticed there was an offer on.

I asked whether the offer had been running last week when we purchased our tent, and I was told that it had. Unfortunately, we hadn’t been offered the promotion at the time.

Chelsea, who was serving us at the till, spoke to Clare, and I have to say they were both extremely quick and helpful in resolving the situation. They arranged for us to receive the offer, which we really appreciated.

Thank you so much to Chelsea and Clare for the excellent customer service. It was lovely to have our issue dealt with so efficiently and professionally.

I will definitely look forward to shopping with you again soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Today I visited the festival park store and was greeted by a tremendous member or staff called kyle who couldn't of helped me more his friendly approachable attitude and clear vast knowledge of the subject matter reassured me I wss in the right place. I couldn't not recommend the bicycle department at go out doors festival park more. Having been a cyclist for 20 years and using many bicycle shops. This is by far my best experiance. Shop with confidence.

it was an overall amazing experience

Everything we needed- membership and Duke of Edinburgh discount meant we saved £35. Tom was great at the till and updated my membership card and was really friendly. Thank you.

Tom and Tilly were very helpful when we popped in to buy supplies to help us in the heatwave.

had a delivery of a new tent, process online was good and simple to do,

delivery was amazing as it was being delivered to a friends house and was her mum who was in for the delivery, due to her age the delivery driver offered to take it into the house for her so she wasn’t struggling to take it in due to the weight of it. was thankful for a nice and professional driver

The parcel was delivered to store ready for collection on my return from holiday

Thank you to Hayley at Stoke GoOutdoors for assisting me to exchange a recently purchased mummy type sleeping bag. We had a laugh when I said I could not zip the bag up due to my broadness( I'm much too fat/large for a mummy bag). Hayley soon processed my exchange and then I took a much larger bag which now fits fine. Thanks Hayley for making the experience just great.

I ordered 2 items (buy 1 get 1 half price) for collection at my local store. A day later, the half price item was cancelled and refunded by Go Outdoors - owing to no stock at store. However, multiple local stores were all showing stock available on line?!

When I called GO customer services to request that they fulfilled the order using a different local store, I was told this was not possible. However, I could cancel my order and reorder again from a different store.

When the order was cancelled I then wasn't refunded in full (requiring another call to GO customer services).

Later that afternoon I decided to call into the store where I would have collected my original order from. Remember - this was the store with only 1 item in stock, yet 7 were actually available on the store's shelves!!

Dreadful customer service. It's no wonder people choose to pay a slight premium and shop with online sellers such as Amazon.

Rory was one of the most friendly sales assistants I have ever met. He didn't rush unnecessarily as my son wanted to know what the magnet did to remove the security tags and even showed the ink in them. He made some good jokes and see definitely makes you want to return. Thank you Rory.

Fantastic staff very tidy and well presented store, staff always helpful and they make a big fuss of our jack Russell dog. Two staff who stand out are Rory and Clare a really credit to the company.
