GO Outdoors - Tamworth Reviews

Very big store with everything you could need. Great selection of boots and hiking assessor it’s which is what I was specifically looking for. More specifically the staff were the absolute greatest. Amazing staff, shout out to Alall who was genuinely the kindest and most helpful employee I’ve ever met. He gave an amazing recommendation for boots I should get and I can confirm that the boots he recommended are incredible. Overall amazing store can’t praise it enough

I visited Go Outdoors in Tamworth to get equipment for my hike in the Alps.
As I was browsing the rucksacks, Imogen approached me and asked if I needed help. She then helped me to choose the size I needed, even suggesting I get my smaller, old one from the car to compare, which I did.
I didn't feel pressured but supported.
Thanks so much Imogen, I will definitely be continuing my outdoor purchases here :)

Fantastic advice regarding a 65l Osprey hiking rucksack from Emma.
She showed me the correct way to wear it correctly too.
Purchase made!

I was welcomed into the shop, Courtney checked if what I wanted was in stock. Called her colleague to assist, answered all my questions and I walked out with what I had come in to buy. Perfect.

I’ve never done a review in my life but I really appreciated Matts help at Tamworth. Legend! Sorted us out with a our bags for Italy

I went in needing a few different bits for my DofE expedition. I am extremely fussy and quite particular about what I like, but I must say, the staff were excellent, kind and helpful. I visited every single department and got all the same help. I was so grateful. A massive thank you to Willow, Courtney, Jess H and to Imogen. Thank you for your patience and for your expertise.

I went to purchase a small backpack and waterproofing agents. It helps to be a member, as there are good discounts available. Matt was very helpful when it came to choosing my pack options.

Imogen was so knowledgeable and helpful!! Excellent service

Great service, very pleasant person who served me all good

Decided to do a spontaneous hike up Snowdon something I’ve never done before so I had no idea what I was buying. Matt however made it a great experience in the store and I will defo be back if I get the bug and want to get into camping. Thanks again Matt you were brilliant.

I was helped in store by Matt. I was trying to decide between 3 rucksacks for my daughter’s upcoming DofE expedition. Matt was superb. He gave a full rundown on all the features of the different rucksacks and helped me make the right choice for her. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you Matt

I popped to the GoOutdoors shop in Tamworth for some supplies for Sports Day : cooling box, 3 chairs and picnic table .

Liam kindly explained difference between the cooling boxes , showcased chairs and helped me pick the right size for the picnic table. But the best part- he was a gentlemen and helped me to bring all the goods to my car!

A young man called Matt was very helpful when we were deciding which camping table to purchase. Even letting us have a look at it out of the box.

Staff always helpfull if

We were looked after by Matt today. He was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the products I wanted to purchase. He listened to what I wanted, and found the right product.

Matt was excellent and very knowledgable in helping me pick tent and airbed for upcoming trip.

A very good well stocked store, with helpful staff.

Matt was extremely helpful and informative as I looked for new pair of Keen sandals

Matt was very helpful in the footwear section. He obviously knew about the products and advised my husband on which options had a wider fitting, bringing various ones to try on. He wasn't pushy. None of them were quite right but he was able to advise which brands were most likely to fit.

Served by Alan who after I had explained that I had lost my Go outdoors card, quickly and efficiently found my address and issued me with a replacement.
Super efficient and very pleasant. Give him a rise!
