GO Outdoors - Tamworth Reviews

Served by Alan who after I had explained that I had lost my Go outdoors card, quickly and efficiently found my address and issued me with a replacement.
Super efficient and very pleasant. Give him a rise!

The assistant Jess H knew what I wanted. She gave me time to try on the shoes. Politeness , friendly genuinely enthusiastic in her role. Very good price

I was met by Liam in the shop who asked if he could help me. And help me he did, and was so patient as I tried on numerous walking boots in various sizes. A very friendly and efficient assistant, thank you.

There is an excellent range of clothing, shoes and equipment. Matt was particularly knowledgeable and helpful in assisting my son in purchasing a pair of walking shoes.
I would highly recommend a visit.

Thanks Matt for your friendly help and service !
Nice to be served by someone that has conversation in them too!

Harley & Matt were really helpful today, even setting up double camp bed for us to test out, thank you 🙏

Quite simply excellent in terms of knowledge and general customer service (Matt)

The Tamworth store have been brilliant, very helpful and assisted me with my order and initial problem I had as much as they could. I did have to contact head office as I had a problem with my membership not showing as renewed when it had. This was sorted for me quickly. I placed my order on line as the store did not have my size in stock and all ran smoothly. I was informed that my order had been received and I would get a confirmation when I could collect my goods from the store. After a week of waiting I contacted the store direct again and was informed that my order was in store ready for collection. However, I never did receive an email from Head Office confirming my order was ready for collection. I was informed by the store that this has happened a few times recently its an IT problem.

Matt at Go Outdoors Tamworth was extremely helpful and went above and beyond when we went in to buy camping gear. He opened boxes for us, set equipment up so we could see it properly and made suggestions to help us choose which items would be best for us. Thank you Matt! 😀

We had fantastic service from Harley. He was very patient and enthusiastic and sold us exactly what we needed.

Very helpful staff
Imogen and Matt listened to what I wanted and needed regarding buying footwear.
Imogen found the shoe I wanted, in the colour I wanted by looking in the stock room

Needed to exchange an item.
Very helpful staff, easy process.

I went into GO outdoors yesterday to get my sons DofE stuff and we got served by a lovely helpful lady named Imogen and she helped me so much we would recommend her. We are so grateful. Thank you so much.5 star ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Liam and Courtney were friendly and helpful; I returned the walking boots that I'd bought yesterday as I'd changed my mind and they helped me find more suitable ones. Thank you

A great visit to go outdoors. Spoke with Ellis and Liam, both really professional and knowledgeable about products. I purchased muck out boots. A great quality sturdy product for equestrian use. I also was looking at the inflatable canoes. A fantastic variety and really helpful polite staff. I would recommend this outlet.

I visited Go Outdoors Tamworth today with a view to buying some reclining camping chairs. There was a lovely young lady in the store who not only helped me choose the most appropriate product with a unmissable offer attached, she carried them to the till for me me as I wasn’t able to carry them myself.

The young lady’s name is Imogen and was a credit to the store. Thankyou Imogen. Top class service!

I had a great experience with Jessica at GO Outdoors. I needed a wetsuit, and she went above and beyond to help me find the right size. She checked the stock thoroughly and didn’t give up until she found exactly what I needed. Jessica was also really helpful in advising me to sign up for the GO Outdoors membership, which saved me money with the discount. Excellent customer service — friendly, patient, and very helpful

I was helped by Matt and it's wonderful when you're helped by people who know what they're talking about! 100% recommended!

Five stars for the staff and customer service at Tamworth Store. And telephone. (Do not use customer service online as waiting ages for replies, originally ordered online) We didn't have a very good start, we paid for next day delivery, it never came. The next day sorry we missed you, we will deliver next day. This was not going to happen as said awaiting further instructions. Drove straight to Tamworth on the day of our travels to collect tent. Then on the day for assembly of tent you could clearly seen it had been USED. So we took back to Tamworth they were extremely sorry and the options were refund, exchange or a different tent. So we updated to a Vango 500, we all did a check and all looked good...so far. Thank you Tamworth.

helpful workers, good range of equipment and good prices for the quality
