Serious Execution Delays and Slippage on GTC Account
At the beginning of the trading day, my account experienced approximately 2 seconds of execution delay and around $1 of price slippage on xauusd. Considering market conditions, this seemed acceptable, and I only asked whether this behavior was normal.
However, the situation later deteriorated significantly. The account was affected by $3.5 price slippage and approximately 4 to 6 seconds of execution delay. This occurred precisely when the account was approaching a margin call, forcing me to manually close positions.
Unfortunately, even during the closing process, delays persisted, and orders appeared in yellow, indicating a lack of execution permission from the broker’s server.
What is particularly important is that at the same time, identical trades were executed smoothly on another broker with no delay or slippage. This strongly suggests that the issue was not related to internet connectivity or the client-side trading platform.
My primary account was with GTC Broker, and due to these execution issues, the account suffered significant losses.
It should be noted that a video recording of this incident has been captured and can be provided upon request.
The purpose of this review is to request a clear explanation regarding the cause of these execution issues and for the matter to be reviewed by the broker’s technical team. I hope to see improved transparency, responsiveness, and trade execution quality going forward.
It should also be noted that despite waiting for 4 days since raising this issue, I have not received any response or explanation from the broker so far.

The customer service response times are horrid
The customer service response times are very inconsistent and often having to use the WhatsApp to convey messages. The app on the phone asks for email and then the question, then they respond via text from the WhatsApp.
I have completed everything they have asked of me, waited for 4 business days as directed, and now they wont respond to my messages...Customer Service automated response is "Thanks! We should be reply in a few moments."

Unfair Spreads, Contract Violations, and Abnormal Stop-Loss Executions
Unfortunately, GTC has turned into a company I can no longer trust. Based on my direct trading experience, the execution conditions now clearly contradict the contract terms.
According to the account agreement, the markup should be 10 points, and the normal spread should be around 28 on XAUUSD and 28 on XAGUSD. However, what I personally experienced was completely different:
XAUUSD spread running up to 40+
XAGUSD spread reaching 97+
This massive deviation caused abnormal stop-loss hits far away from the actual market price, resulting in serious financial losses. The difference between the stop-loss level and the execution price is unjustifiable under normal market conditions.
There is substantial proof available, including trading records, screenshots, and platform data, showing these irregularities. Despite multiple complaints, no transparent technical explanation or fair resolution has been provided.
At this point, the company’s behavior raises serious concerns, and in my opinion, it resembles unfair and deceptive trading practices rather than a professional brokerage service.
I am now formally waiting for the UAE government and regulatory authorities to contact me so I can submit all evidence and documentation showing what this company is doing nowadays.
I strongly advise traders to be extremely cautious.
