Literally every other brand is better

I guess they pick and choose who they want to give customer service to, because I see a handful of people who actually got help, while the rest of us are left with no answers. I bought a food processor and I was hoping it would last me a couple of years. I literally used the machine 5 times within a couple of months span and it didn’t work anymore. I thought Hamilton Beach would try to resolve any issues, or at least throw me a bone. All they did was tell me they couldn’t and wouldn’t do anything about it. To add insult to injury, they tell me the most they can do for me is to give me a tiny discount on my next purchase from them, as if I would waste another single cent on this less than mediocre brand who don’t even care about their customers.

PURCHASED A TOASTER 2 YRS AGO

PURCHASED A TOASTER 2 YRS AGO, IT WENT TO ONLY WARMING ONE SIDE. WENT TO THE OWNERS MANUAL FOR WARRANTY INFO. IT WAS 5 YRS IN CANADA AND 1 YEAR IN USA, DIDN'T GET THAT. EMAILED H.B. FOR INFO, AND AFTER WAITING ON TWO ATTEMPTS WAS TOLD NO WARRANTY AND COULD NOT EXPLAIN THE DIFF. BETWEEN CANADA AND USA WARRANTY. I DID NOT EXPECT IT TO LAST FOREVER, BUT 2 YRS I WAS JUST LOOKING FOR SOME HELP, EVEN ASKED HOW TO FIX IT OR WHERE TO TAKE IT FOR REPAIR.NO RESPONSE.. I REPLIED, NEVER A H.B BRAND OR ANY OF IT'S OTHER COMPANIES WILL EVER BE IN THIS HOUSEHOLD AGAIN.

Outstanding Customer Service X2!

The plastic base part containing the blades to an approximately $30 Hamilton Beach blender cracked causing a leak of contents when in use. I had owned this small appliance about 7 months & was very pleased with how it makes my smoothies. I contacted Hamilton Beach regarding this & was told they would send me a replacement at no cost to me (normally the customer is required to pay shipping). I received the replacement part within about 3 days but it was the wrong part. I contacted Hamilton Beach again & explained that the wrong part had been sent & they AGAIN (at no cost to me) sent me the replacement which this time is the correct part. I am very impressed with this company & will buy again in the future because they back up their products with AWESOME customer service which is considerably lacking from most companies these days. Thanks to Hamilton Beach & their customer service reps.

I received a Hamilton Beach deep fryer…

I received a Hamilton Beach deep fryer Model No. 35033 as a gift. It has a timer on it that beeps and will not stop. I asked for a replacement and since I did not have a receipt they told me it was out of warranty based on the serial number. I only used it a few times and I know it was purchased within the one year time frame. When I researched the new model they eliminated that timer which tells me that this timer was an issue and based on the reviews on line by many it was an issue.

Stand mixer

I got a stand mixer from them, which I loved! But I have not had the mixer very long or used it very many times and it has completely stopped working! For no reason. I am hoping they will make this right and send me a replacement!

The cap on my smoothie maker cracked

The cap on my smoothie maker cracked, and their website says please don't discard. So I phoned...and phoned...and phoned. Then I started emailing, and finally was told to phone! Finally I got a call from someone to take my credit card number. Supposedly they were overwhelmed with Black Friday. So on December 3rd my card was debited, but still no replacement caps on January 10th.

I am really pissed about such poor service from a once reputable company. I want my caps or my money back!

No way to contact them after they take your money? They should be considered fraud artists?

Can not get a person on the phone

Can not get a person on the phone. I bought a slow cooker to replace one that I had because I broke the stone crock pot liner and it was just as cheap to buy a new crock pot/slow cooker. The latch that holds down the top when carrying it and I tried to call them and no one answered, FINALLY got an email answered and they were no help whatsoever. They seemed to not understand what I was having issues with. Now, less than a year later the crock pot isn't heating. I tried again today to call and it went to VM and referred me to their website. I will never buy a Hamilton Beach product again, I'm so disgusted with them.

AVOID LIKE PLAGUE

They claim to ship within 3 days. My order has not shipped yet and was ordered 14 days ago. I tried to call them every day, many times a day for the past 10 days.

I got to speak to human twice out of well over 80 calls. All the other times i just get hung up on.

Both times they told me it will ship tomorrow ....

Useless

Their website tells me my model doesn't exist,called their customer service number which is a dead end recording that hangs up on you.Useless company,give them -3 stars.

HAMILTON BEACH IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER

What terrible, horrible customer service I bought a flex brew coffee machine from them at a Department store in September of 2019. 9 months later it stopped working. I tried reaching them by phone no luck, I tried reaching them by email no luck, I tried sending them a letter no luck during covid it was almost impossible to get through to them. I tried everything to troubleshoot the coffee maker and nothing seemed to work it would not work. A few months later still months before my warranty was to expire I was contacted by someone wanting to know the serial number &the make number they sent me a picture of how to clean it and I told them I tried that it didn't work, Then they wanted a receipt well I didn't have the original receipt so I had to get a receipt from the department store well during covid as you know that takes forever. So after about 20 or so back-and-forth emails they finally told me I was past the warranty and there was nothing they could do. The only thing they offered me was 15% off on another Hamilton beach product I will never ever buy a Hamilton beach product in my life again. What a hassle. Come on Hamilton beach you can do better than that. You don't even stand by your products.BUY KURIEG COFFEE MAKER &PRODUCTS INSTEAD MUCH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE BETTER WARRANTY,SUPERIOR QUALITY LOVE KURIEG. Awful customer service

Awful customer service- they make it very hard to get in touch with to receive assistance. I have an issue with my slow cooker so I called their customer service number. There's no option to speak with a person, so I went on their website to fill out a form. It wouldn't submit and said it was blocked by a firewall- I have never received a message like that before. There isn't any option to email them either. My only option is to send them a letter! Is this 1976??? Horrible customer service

Worst Customer Service that Doesn't Live Up to its Name

Called (800)851-8900 (printed on the Coffee Maker 46290 User Manual, as the number to reach "our friendly associates"). Only reached an auto answering message telling me to go to their web site. Called another Hamilton Beach Customer Service phone no. (877)474-1122 I found on the internet. Got the same ridiculous auto message and never reached a soul.

Manufacturer warranty department is horrendous

Bought a mini fridge back in Sept 2020 for a gift for my inlaws where it stopped working as of December but wasn't aware since it was a gift. Once I knew about it I contacted Galanz North America, their warranty department. First agent gave me the wrong instructions which was cut the cord of the appliance and mail it in. Sent over all the required documents and pictures within the same day for the second correct set of instructions. Quoted 8-10 weeks for turn around time on a cheque. At 6-7 weeks I called for an update to see if it was sent. First agent said to wait a few more days and then call back if still no update and request for a manager. Of course no call back so I called again. This agent was fighting with me and would not transfer me to a supervisor until I pretty much lost it. Talked to a supervisor named Leonard and he was helpful and understanding. After a few hours received an email saying that the accounting department was sending out a cheque and that it would arrive on July 16. Long behold still no cheque. Called 07/22 and asked for update and agent said she couldn't see anything and that I would get a call back from management within 24hrs. Hey it's been 24 hours no call back so of course I have to call back. Reached an agent and said all supervisors are busy with an agent and recommended I try and call back again. What kind of joke is this I was suppose to be called back but wasn't and now a suggestion to call back again on the call back because the warranty department loves not doing their job and thinks people don't have things to do with their lives. Coming from someone that really loves and supports Hamilton Beach products they definitely did not retain this customer. Almost all of my appliances are by them. On a good day when things don't break down and you don't need customer service, then you're golden. But god forbid you need anything especially from the warranty department, you are on your own. It will be a long and painful ride.

My microwave is catching on fire from the inside poorly made with plastic material that can't with stand heat can burn down my home or hurt my children definitely need to come off the market

I brought a toaster oven from these low lives. and when I contacted them about, they told me I sent the wrong info. I sent the info again and they told me I sent the wrong info again. They told me that so I can give up and stop contacting them. They are the worst. And to the person who said there customer service was good they're full of crap. These creeps should not be in business and should be shut down for life. Fuccc Hamilton 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕✌✌🤟

What an absolute POS

What an absolute POS! Bought 49904, a combo pod & cafe coffee maker. Absolute junk. There’s $100 bucks well spent! Avoid Hamilton beach at all cost. Crap is probably made in China!

Great customer service

Great customer service! There was a problem with my bread machine, and they honoured my warrantee and gave me a whole new bread machine and they covered shipping! It was a pleasant experience, they were very helpful.
