After purchasing a Flex 5 Coffeemaker online, I noticed that HB had not applied the Discount Code of 15% I believe. I went through the motion of purchasing it again and when I applied the discount code the 2nd time I noticed the new price with the discount, so with the intention of canceling the first order I purchased it again at
the correct price. I tried immediately to cancel the order but was not able to contact anyone with Hamilton Beach or find a way to successfully cancel it. Upon applying for a RA, I was informed I would have to pay the $40 required for shipping plus the previous shipping as I was not informed of it's immediate arrival and was not home to refuse it. I've tried working with them and told them I would even keep the 2nd unit if they would honor the discount but they will not. I've never done business with such a cheap company
and lack of concern for the customer I will never purchasea Hamilton Beach Product again. I'm on a fixed income and cannot afford those extreme shipping costs, that's a weeks
groceries for me. Either honor the $22.50 or pay for return

In my Hamilton Beach Oven — Extremely Disappointing Product and Support
in my experience, this Hamilton Beach oven has been one of the worst appliances I’ve ever owned. From day one, it felt cheaply made, like something designed to fail rather than last. The build quality is flimsy, the controls feel unreliable, and basic functions that should be simple and consistent are anything but.
The oven heats unevenly, making it nearly impossible to cook food properly without constantly checking and rotating trays. Temperature settings don’t seem accurate, which defeats the purpose of having an oven at all. What should be a convenient countertop appliance instead becomes a constant frustration.
Durability is a major problem. After light, normal household use, issues started appearing that you wouldn’t expect from any reputable brand. It gives the impression that cost‑cutting was prioritized over quality and reliability.
To make matters worse, the customer service experience was just as disappointing as the product itself. Reaching support was difficult, responses felt dismissive, and resolving the issue took far more effort than it should have. Instead of standing behind their product, the company made the process frustrating and unhelpful, which only reinforced my lack of confidence in the brand.
To anyone looking for a dependable appliance. There are far better options available, and this one simply isn’t worth the money or the frustration.

The box has a big label that says longest warranty 5 years on a water boiling kettle.
The item stopped working in less than 6 months after purchase. To claim warranty, the advisors tell you that the product terms indicate limited warranty (in fine prints online, as against what the product label says). By limited warranty, you must pay about more than half the cost of the replacement item they want to ship to you - but they call it shipping and handling fees for the carrier. This is deception, it is fraud, and can only happen in Canada. This is the first warranty I am seeing the meaning of limited warranty different. They put it secretly in a small print, but the big print on the box says otherwise. Fraudsters!!! Run away from their product, will never purchase Hamilton Beach items ever again, and will post this on all social media!!

Disgusting. The Hamilton Beach company obviously takes no accountability, and has very poor customer care.
Commercial toasters are junk!
This is about a commercial-grade toaster, model 24850R, that failed after only 2 years of service. One of the two control boards inside the toaster no longer works, which means half of the toaster is completely useless. This is a $240 commercial unit!
And it’s junk made in China!!!
The worst part is that Hamilton Beach offers no support and no replacement parts. There is absolutely no way to repair this unit. This looks like a scheme to force customers to buy another one instead of fixing what they already paid for!
We will never buy another Hamilton Beach product again, and we will make sure everyone we know hears about this experience.

Hamilton Beach 22 qt roaster 2025 - 2026
Hamilton Beach 22 qt roaster we received as a Christmas present December 2025.
When I opened up the unit and put it on the counter, I noticed that it rocked back-and-forth. I turned the unit over and realized that the bottom frame was dented on one side. The cardboard box and the Styrofoam side was not damaged so this defect must’ve come from the manufacturing process. (funny thing doing a YouTube review a woman had posted and had the same problem).
First thing I noted reading through the warranty is that Canadian residence get a five-year warranty United States residence only get a one year warranty. Gee, that’s really fair.
After contacting Hamilton Beach they sent me an email indicated I could select a product of equal or lesser value, but they did not have any brand new 22 quart roasters available and they ended up sending me a reconditioned unit.
How is that fair buying a new product and ending up getting a reconditioned unit with a warranty less than a year because they said that the warranty would start at the original purchase date.
I have contacted Hamilton Beach and awaiting their reply as to what they can do to make me a happy customer.

Received A Hamilton Beach Mixette as a wedding gift in 1978. After years of use, and our only mixer, it still works perfectly in all three speeds.

Warning to Consumers – Poor Customer Service & Unfair Return Policy at Hamilton Beach company
I had a very disappointing experience with Hamilton Beach. I ordered a toaster oven on December 25, 2025, for $144. About eight hours later, I found a comparable Toshiba model with the same features for $79.99 and immediately emailed Hamilton Beach to cancel my order. They did not respond for two days and then claimed the order was already processed and could not be canceled.
I was told to return the item once received. I never opened or used it, obtained a return authorization, and then discovered that USPS return shipping would cost $78. Hamilton Beach refused to provide a prepaid return label. I even offered to keep the item if they would price-match the comparable Toshiba model, but this request was ignored.
There was no clear disclosure that return shipping would be nearly half the cost of the product, effectively trapping customers with unused items. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but Hamilton Beach continues to refuse any reasonable solution. Based on my experience, I would advise other consumers to be very cautious before doing business with this company.

I purchased an item for my grandmother as a christmas gift, when she opened it we realized charger was missing, i quickly contacted the company as soon as she opened it, they asked for a bunch of things like proof of purchase (but who’s going to keep a receipt for a gift) they then asked me to purchase a charger but i never received one so i shouldn’t have to pay for one, they then told me they can only give a charger if i have proof of purchase, or it had to be within 30 days, at this point with the pace of the responds it obviously has passed tbh e 30 days starting at the fact it was a christmas gift.
Broken Within 5 Minutes
We were making hummus, which does not have very heavy/thick ingredients. We had just opened up a brand new blender and within 5 minutes the blender had broke and caught fire. I am not joking when I say that it caught on fire. Do not buy this, it cannot handle even the most basic ingredients

I called regarding my coffee maker leaking. After a lot questions they asked me to send a photo shoot the engraved machine info. Which I did. After no info I text back. Still no response. Again, the coffee maker leaked all over my counter. Poor workmanship! Why would it leak after a year purchase. Do it buy!

I bought their blender for $24.99, but in just 2 months of light use, it stopped working. I’ve reached out to the Customer Service Support, with the unit fit for replacement, but they will charge you for $14.99 for handling & shipping. It’s like buying a new one. I respectfully declined, telling them that I can add a few bucks to buy another one of different brand. Better avoid this brand and opt for a different one.

After about 3 months, I continue to get error messages saying "clean needle." After cleaning, flushing, descaling, unplugging to reset and doing everything suggested, the k-cup portion of the machine doesn't work...at all.
I've only had it for 3 months! I'm thoroughly convinced all the positive reviews are from buyers' initial impressions and not from any sort of extended use. DO NOT buy it. You will regret it.
Hamilton Beach Professional mixer…
I was gifted an Hamilton Beach Professional mixer blender grinder. After a couple of months of use, the machine stopped working. I phoned customer services, but they were very unhelpful and said they could not assist without proof of purchase or an invoice.
I then decided to investigate the issue myself and found that the coupler had disengaged from the machine. I contacted them again to ask if I could buy it as a spare part. Their reply was that this part should never come apart from the machine, so it is not available as a spare.
I would never recommend anyone buy this brand of machine. Very poor build quality and very poor customer service.

Purchased a Hamilton Beach Duo coffee maker, from day 1 this product did not work correctly. Dripped all over during the day when not in use. Contacted their customer support, was treated poorly. They asked for the product to be sent back for testing and wait 15 business days after receiving for a decision for a replacement. I also emailed pictures of the malfunctions and was insulted by their conduct. I was not going to be without a coffee making for what would be over a month while they test their product was junk. I ended up throwing it away and purchasing another brand with the same type of system. This coffee maker is working perfectly, as Hamilton Beach product should have. But most importantly, I will not purchase from a company that will not stand behind its product. All done with Hamilton Beach, All Done!! Shame on them!
Surprisingly poor warranty.
Spent $60 on Hamilton Beach coffee maker, model 46200, in June of this year. New, in the sealed box. The cover on the carafe was broken. They refuse to replace what is probably a $2 item. How can a new/in box item not be covered by their warranty? Very, very disappointed
