Very good quality plants well & carefully packaged

I was very disappointed with the quantity & size of bulbs. Also states planting time March to May. Lots of tulips & Daffodils on sale with discount to plant now.
Completely my own fault.. fell into the Facebook trap and bought without much consideration based on good advertising. I’m expecting exceptional blooms when I eventually plant. Either way too expensive.

Bulbs arrived promptly but were a bit dry and shrivelled. I hydrated them before planting so fingers crossed.

Ordered, money been taken but not had any confirmation email. Tried to email but received a message to say not monitored. Filled out a contact form 3 times, no response. I have now sent a letter. No phone number.
Appalling service, I only wish I had read the reviews prior.

I purchased some garden bulbs from their official eBay account and paid immediately. However, I soon discovered a hidden fulfilment delay. The seller hadn’t even planned to begin shipping until 14th September let alone deliver the items. The listing had completely omitted the presale stipulation, breaching eBay’s policy and concealing the fact that they lacked the stock to dispatch.

Knowing my rights under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, which grant a statutory 14-day right to cancel pre-dispatch, I promptly requested a cancellation. The seller simply declined and kept my money. With my funds held hostage and eBay refusing a refund despite their Money Back Guarantee, they insisted on the mid-September delivery date, forcing me to wait six weeks just to request a refund for an unfulfilled order.

Frustrated by the flouting of my consumer rights, I turned to PayPal. They resolved the issue in my favour and gave me a full refund. However, this shouldn’t have been so difficult given the basic nature of consumer rights and the fact that this seller is listed as a business seller bound by consumer law, specifically the distance selling rule.

In summary, avoid this seller. They’re misleading and will hold your money hostage.

Just the worst experience ever.
Waited a long time for the order, The ranunculus eventually sprouted then didn't grow any more. The begonia corms were tiny and eventually grew but never got big enough to flower. The bare rooted plants never grew at all.
I drew this to their attention and honestly the customer service is the worst ever. The do not reply, offer more of the same or a credit note. I asked for a refund which I was told was not an option. 3-4 months later I am still waiting for a replacement plant and I've just contacted them again but not holding out. much hope of anything arriving.

Absolutely horrendous customer service regarding an issue with my order quality. My purchase was made in April and the refund has still not been processed, lots of avoiding refunding and ignoring emails. I am honestly shocked by the a-palling standards of this ‘business’. Please do not waste your time and choose instead to shop with a reputable business.

Avoid – Poor Customer Service and Unfair Resolution

I have had a very disappointing experience with Harding & Bloom, this is still ongoing as My order never arrived, yet instead of refunding the money back to my original payment method, they sent me an email for a store credit for the purchase price, less the delivery charge.

I do not believe this is an acceptable way to resolve the issue. As the goods were never delivered, I expected a full refund to my original payment method rather than being forced to accept store credit or lose the delivery fee.

Customer service was extremely poor throughout. I had to repeatedly chase for responses, and there was very little effort made to resolve my complaint fairly. In the end, I had no option but to ask my bank to investigate the matter and initiate a chargeback.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Harding & Bloom. A reputable company should stand by its customers and resolve problems promptly and fairly when goods fail to arrive.

After I posted here I suddenly got email/money back BUT only 50% refunded and no advice on returning bulb. My outstanding £19.99 is of REAL value to me. The offer of a credit note against future purchases is zero value given I’d never reorder but I resent writing off the equivalent of a month’s worth of electric standing order charges so no doubt you’ll be hoping I drop complaining. I suspect your business has gotten too large and you simply can’t cope. I’m sorry but it was risky to have been offering product bundles that were likely to have a potentially high return as they were populated with unspecified end of season/unsold product. It’s switched me off and no doubt many others. What a shame

Company not helping despite repeated emails and contact via their contact form

On 3/5/26 I ordered 3 bare roots Monarda (bee balm) from this company, paid £12.76. What arrived on 13/5/26 was not impressive.
I contacted them immediately with photos of the roots supplied, not of satisfactory standard asking for a refund.
They replied asking if I'd like a refund or replacement. I immediately replied requesting a refund.
Heard nothing. A month later, i emailed again, to say I had not yet seen the refund to my account. No response.
Today, 13/7/26, I emailed again, and email sent back saying they have TODAY, two full months later, arranged a CREDIT to my store account, for just £8.63. It seems they can't get ANYTHING right.....
All in all, i would say, this is NOT a company i would ever use again.

After ordering ranunculus corms and planting them in my garden they have now bloomed and completely different colour and type to what I ordered. Contacted the company but no response.

Ordered some ranculous bulbs at the beginning of the year. They were £20. I e planted them. Tended and cared for the shoots. However once they started growing I think I've been given completely the ero g plant. Emails rejected, I have completed contact form twice with no response. My final option is now to request charge back through my credit card. I will never order from them again.

Ordered dahlias in February - all the tubers were poor quality but as an experienced gardener I gave them every chance. Two failed and the one which has grown isn't what I ordered. It's a white spider form and should have been a purple/white marbled pompom. Despite numerous emails and promises for a full refund, this still has not been done. Customer service is the poorest I've experienced. The last anonymous person said they had escalated the request for the refund as they could not process it at their level. What an excuse ! They take payment by credit card and not through PayPal which makes it extremely difficult to take any action against them. Avoid completely.

What a pile of 💩 this company is. Never got my order. Sent loads of emails over the course of two months, promised a refund never got it. Had to apply to my bank to get my money back! Leave well alone!

The delivery was late, was not what I ordered and of such poor quality that the bulbs did not produce any growth at all. I will not use this company again and would not recommend it at all

Poor quality product and even worse customer service.
Took a tempting offer of peonies mystery bundle. It arrived with very flimsy packaging - roots bashing around in a large card box, with no protective wrapping. Roots were broken and of poor quality with a lot of mould and rotten bits.
Customer service was even poorer. After a long chain of emails and photos and details sent back and forth, with an anonymous person (no name provided), they agreed the pachaging and roots were of unacceptable quality.
But, a month later, still no refund or replacement provided. They manged to tire us out.
This company will NEVER AGAIN see us as their customers.
