ordered a new toilet, which was broken on arrival - a replacement was provided..... which was also broke on arrival..... still waiting for Heat & Plumb to sort it out...
New toilet arrived the following day.... All good now. I know it's down to the sub contract delivery team, but still frustrating this end.

Recommended bottle trap not fit for purpose
I bought a bathroom sink from heat&plumb along with their recommended chrome bottle trap and pop-up plug. The sink is great, but the bottle trap was useless -designed for a European standard that is not compatible with a British plumbing system, and a flawed design more generally. I spent a long time trying to find a fitting that converts 32mm European pipe to UK 1¼" (FYI McAlpine MS4-ISO Compression Connection Bend 90° 32mm (6427V)). However the supplied pipe didn't even fit into the bottle trap with the supplied washer, and neither did it connect to the recommended plug fitting. Heat and plumb wouldn't take the product back even though it is clearly not fit for purpose.
Even though I have 6 months under UK law (the Consumer Rights Act 2015) in which they must 'repair or replace' the faulty item, they just kept quoting their 30 day policy.
One 'expert' suggested I sell it on Ebay - why would I pass the problem on to someone else? I would definitely not recommend this company, as rather than try to help me resolve the problem - which by law they are required to do - they were defensive and unwilling to take responsibility for their poor recommendation saying "Customers are not required to purchase these items from us, and they are provided simply as suggestions for customers who may find them suitable or useful." This product was neither suitable nor useful. It is now in the recycling bin. I bought a better (and cheaper) version from Screwfix which I fitted in under five minutes.

We recognise how frustrating it must have been to deal with incompatible plumbing fittings, especially after purchasing items that were suggested alongside your basin. Receiving advice that did not help resolve the connection issue, combined with a refusal to accept a return for an item that did not work for your installation, is certainly not the level of support we aim to provide.
You seem to have missed our returns window, though and contacted us nearly 2 months after delivery; hence we could not help you. If we were contacted within 30 days of delivery, we could have definitely helped you with this return.
