I've been a member of Help My Dog since it started in December 2023. The HMD team offer great value by explaining the theory behind dog behaviours, in a way that is easy to understand and remember. Tom and Anita have been doing lives as part of the Help My Dog Thrive in 2025 Challenge. This teaching has been totally free to whoever signed up for the challenge. If you didn't get the opportunity to join this time, it would certainly be worthwhile taking up the opportunity next time it becomes available.
If you decide to join the Hub as a paid subscription or you purchase one of their courses, you will learn lots and have fun along the way.

Have learnt so much from Helpmydog. Hub member since it began but still so much to learn from all the resources. A great community to be in. Very supportive and extra value from shared experiences.

I am a Hub Member and have done the 10 Day My Walks Are Stressful Course. I have found the information available incredibly helpful in understanding what makes my dog reactive. The games are helping her deal with her reactivity and she enjoys the training. Tom’s enthusiasm and is energy is infectious. The hub members are very supportive too.

With the help from the playing the games. Our very reactive dog is now able to pass other dogs on a walk, sleep and relax during the day, we have now started to live our dream.

I am A Hub member and hub expert
I have done separate Anxiety course, recall course, lead walking course and recall.
I have followed Tom Mitchell and his team for a number of years as a dog behaviourist and trainer he in my view is the orical !
Always trust his advice with any doggy issue.
Added to that his on line courses offer something for Everyone at what ever your knowledge or understanding of dogs and pups.
The delivery is Practical, Accessible what ever your experience, and the relaxed style of him and his team is easy to listen too relaxed and it fun.

Lots of fun and my dog gets to learn new skills that help her navigate the outside world. I totally recommend the ten day reactivity course. My Frenchie, Matilda, did exceptionally well disengaging from a dog that had previously attacked her after just a couple of weeks working this way.

Joined the help my dog hub to work on the behavioural problems my rescue dogs have had since I adopted them. The training is broken down into short easy to watch videos where the games (and the science behind them) are explained and demonstrated by the knowledgeable and joyful Tom Mitchell. If I ever have issues, the hub support team are quick to respond and the Facebook group is one of the most supportive and encouraging groups I have been part of. Whatever your struggles are, someone in the group will have great advice. The training approach is very different to anything I had tried before, and isn't always a quick fix but I can honestly say I now have a stronger bond with both of my dogs. Their confidence has increased and as we take the games out and about we are all more able to cope with the dogs, traffic, people that caused so many problems in the past

I Have trained with Tom for many years. I have participated in The Hub, Separation Anxiety, The Ten Day plan, and anything else that Help my Dog offers! As a dog trainer myself, the learning I get here is invaluable! For my dogs it has been transformational. As with any learning, you actually have to do it to have it be successful. The training is fun and builds great relationships with your dog. Give it a try, have fun with your dog, and you will both have a much better life !

Having taken on a bonkers young collie who chased everything that moves, I was struggling to cope. After lots of false starts I found the Help my dog 10 day course on improving walks and can honestly say that this has transformed my life. Monty is not (yet) a perfect dog, he still has lots of issuer, but I have some tools to use with him, we both feel more optimistic about being out and about together, and the future now looks really positive. I have been a member of Help My Dog since the beginning and the amount of knowledge that I have gained has been immense. It has enabled me to change my dog reactive dog into a happy confident girl who is now happy around dogs. The Separation Solid course that I did which is in the Hub explains what separation anxiety is in a whole different way and helped her as well. She is happy to be left alone and that is worth a lot. Such a massive amount of content and a supportive community. If I could give it more than five stars I would xxx

My gorgeous 2 year old dog changed from being happy and friendly to scared and reactive after being attacked a few times, just because he was big and not castrated.
I looked for help - I considered help my dog but was put off by the price. £600 later, with a different trainer my dog improved, then deteriorated rapidly. The improvements weren’t sustainable. Because I’d approached help my dog I was on the mailing list and was able to access the 5 day challenge (free of charge!)
I’ve seen, heard and learned enough in those 5 days to assure me that joining the hub, with access to live support, videos and more is worth it… a years access for less than the failed 1:1 sessions. The difference?he’s gaining the skills that will stay with him and help him to cope in future. I now have hope for my boy.

I joined help my dog hub last month. The way Tom explains training challenges and transforming your dogs behaviour makes so much sense.
It has started transforming my 2 terriers behaviour already.

I am a member of the Help My Dog Hub it's the best move I ever made, there are numerous resources, all delivered in a simple to understand way along with demo videos. Dr Tom always goes the extra mile, the whole team have extensive knowledge, the team along with a supportive group make the dog training journey enjoyable. It's 11 out of 10 from me, 5 stars simply isn't enough.

I tried the 10 day plan and later joined The Hub. It has changed my relationship with my awkward dog. It has also changed my approach to problems.

If you are having issues with your dog it is well worth joining.

I was at the point of considering giving my dog away because I couldn't handle him out in public. Then he wanted to bite the behaviorist I hired. She helped some, but told me I'd have to spend loads of time in every single new experience. Help! My Dog has been a Godsend! I'm now a HUB member, have done the 10 day walk course, and just finished the 5 day Thrive challenge. So worth it!
