Great service from start to finish, we booked an appointment online & was given an appointment that suited us really quickly, Lewis our advisor came out& was very helpful @ have plenty of advice & ideas which would work best for us. Regular emails followed the visit but no calls pressuring for a sale.

We contacted Hillary's after moving into our new home, as our friends had recommended them.

Gordon (Hillary's ref: Runner, advisor no. 118908) was very thorough and very helpful when he visited. Having actual large samples of the blinds and curtains plus the curtain rails really helped and we were impressed as there was so much choice in fabric and colours and the quality of everything was second to none.

There was no pushy sales tactics or promises just great advice and Gordon really knew his stuff.

We decided to go ahead as the quote was so competitive and therefore had nearly every room done.

Gordon was thorough on the day of the installation and everything was fitted perfectly with great advice given on aftercare. He is a real credit to the company.

We are absolutely thrilled with the results and are amazed at the difference the blinds and curtains have made. We would have no hesitation in using Hillary's again and would recommend them highly to anyone.

To begin with Hillarys we're great, nice fabrics, good customer service. However the 12 month warranty period is over and our remote control blinds have motor issues. Hillarys want £48 for a service call. The broken part costs £10 to replace from the manufacturer!! A motor breaking after 18 months is not fit for purpose.
In addition, we have roman blackout blinds, they don't work as blackouts. They are not wide enough at the sides and for some bizarre reason the fitter/sales person only measured them to the window cill (they're not recessed), instead of making them a few inches longer. So not only do we have light shining at the bottom, you can actually see into the house from outside as the blinds are so short. We had to take them down and re drill fittings a little lower than the fitter placed them, just so the blinds don't look like they've had an argument with the window cill! We had always used independent blind fitters in our previous properties but thought Hillarys would be better ....they're more expensive after all and we thought that would mean better quality. However, I would now recommend a small business or independent if you are thinking of blinds. You won't be looked after by Hillarys. Not recommended in the slightest!

The worst and most frustrating company to deal with taken 6 weeks too fix problems with shutters and still not fixed no back up calls the most stressful experience I have ever experienced will never use them again not looking forward to the next phone call to them as I will be told the same old things again

Lots of colours and patterns to choose from. Doesn’t just agree with your hunch but walks you through properly what looks good for your room. Comes with pictures of what other customers have done in similar settings (color of floor etc) to show you what that looks like. Would recommend.

We recently had a consultation with Hillarys for conservatory roof blinds and had a very positive experience.
Matthew arrived on time, was professional, and took the time to explain all the available options clearly. He was very patient throughout, answered all our questions, and provided helpful advice without any pressure.

We decided to go ahead with honeycomb blinds for 6 panels, and the whole process felt smooth and well handled.

We’re now looking forward to the next steps — the survey, installation, and seeing the final result in our conservatory.
