Hobgoblin Music Reviews

Super quality mandola strings from an exceptional musical instrument company

I needed help with ordering an instrument. Hobgoblin sorted it out quickly, politely, and very efficiently - it took less than 24 hours from placing the order to delivery. Excellent service and an excellent instrument!

Drum was perfect. Arrived when expected. Simple to order. Superb service

Incredibly resourceful and responsive and unique instruments - very happy on all fronts

Superb customer experience. The case is excellent quality. It arrived promptly and in good condition. Would recommend without hesitation.

Good communication, prompt dispatch and well packaged. Will use again.

Wonderful experience buying from this company. I was buying a birthday present and had left it very close to the date. From expert advice from the shop floor to the brilliant considerate planning in the warehouse, all items were shipped and arrived on time. I even received a free gift of an essential item that they noticed I'd left out of the order. Great experience all round. Thank you!

Good quality banjo nut at a very good price. Their stuff tends to be good, occasionally you get a real bargain.

Service minded staff who answered the call, and retrieved information I requested. Fast delivery and good quality product (Harp book)

Good product, quick delivery

The prices were expensive that’s why I chose this one. The old saying’ you get what you pay for’ comes to mind

I have been in the shop in Leeds for harmonicas, looked round and was very imprest, I orded my Bromo guitar and it was deliverd in record time

I’ve bought numerous instruments previously, Auto harp, violin, ukulele plus others. All have been very good quality. Needed a new tipper for my bodhran. At the same time decided to buy a second set of wooden spoons (bought my original set from Canada). The tipper is perfect but the spoons are absolutely useless. Such a shame, they are unplayable. I will put it down to experience.

Good website to consider options, quick secure delivery, I would buy from Hobgoblin again without hesitation.

I needed a gypsy jazz string set which was delivered in good time.

Order arrived promply, efficient ordering process, clearly a reliable company. Excellent collection of instruments in stock.
Nice instrument, but I already knew that (Dixon low D whistle), good price. A to-go shop for this type of instruments (folk etc).

Very efficient and quick service when buying a guitar I wanted

Superb Carbony A whistle! Hobgoblin were amazingly fast at ensuring I received my order almost the day after I ordered it and just before Christmas. The whistle was very well packaged and superb quality. Thank you for getting it to me so quickly! I would definitely recommend buying from Hobgoblin.

Great shop that is absolutely rammed full of instruments. Mainly catering for acoustic, but there were some instruments I never knew existed!
We were there as I had got my husband and son some vouchers for Christmas. They each picked a guitar and the guy threw in a leather guitar strap too.
Genuinely lovely staff who don't mind you trying out the instruments. There is no hard sell, no rush and they certainly know their stuff.
I'm really glad this space exists and you can tell how good it is by just how many people were coming and going.
Definitely recommend!
